I’m glad you used a breathing apparatus . I’ve had friends that painted without proper breathing apparatus and they are no longer on this earth. Nice job.
I don’t know how I came across this video as I never thought of doing this but I’m glad to have his knowledge. Thank you and you did a great job covering the steps and the finished product.
It definitely looks like it. lol Trust me, it is necessary. That stuff gets everywhere and it is awful to clean off. I knew this from a project I had done prior with it.
Great job .if anyone makes a work surface with lid close are going to have to cut the locking bars down I have a video on how I changed locking bars on my general one series cart.
0:30 I thought most people used it to hold a top box… I did. But i do have a separate 70” 14-drawer base that I built but used a piece of 3/4” mdf for a violence absorber.
Nice, might have been easier to remove the top and paint it outside. But I'm sure it was too cold back in January ;-P Side note, i was going to put a 1/2" thick peace of wood on top but this might be a better idea. Or maybe still a peace of wood and cheap sheet metal WITH! bed liner, I'm sure that will take hammer blows and drilling through the work material while not slipping
Ya know how I improved my HF cheapo cart? I put about 2grand worth of machining shit inside it. It rolls everything easily between the mill and the lathe.
adhesive promoter is generally used on plastics or something you cant sand. the lid was powdercoated so it shoulda been sanded if ya want the raptor liner to bite into the metal instead of laying on top.
@@richardburns9772 mine is definitely not water tight by any means. Have you compared yours to some of the floor models they have in the store? Maybe you got one that is warped of something.
Dr Fauci said it’s ok to wear any “mask” but that your wife should wear hers to protect you while you use solvents ... no need for that expensive respirator!! Otherwise great video thanks!!
