When you are in jiggle mode, and finished with your landscape home page set up, - Simply turn the iPad to the Portrait orientation (while in Jiggle Mode) - Then, just simply rearrange your portrait set-up to your pleasing. Love the way this looks! Been trying to get it up and running on my iPad. Is anyone else having trouble getting the widgy calendar app on their Home Screen? Doesn’t seem to be working for me.
I am 4 minutes into your video, trying to figure out how to permanently set up my Home Screen or any screen on my iPad Just like my iPhone On my iPhone I know how to move my apps around categorize them into boxes and place them accordingly I keep the ones that I need the most in the easiest place to get to On my iPad it doesn’t seem to work the same If I use an app then it’s on the bottom in my tool bar the next time I use my device… if not it is on the first page (or at the very least one of the pages) But then I can set it down, pick it back up later, use it for a different need, and that changes things After I set it down again, then pick it back up later, looking for the app that I visited only the time before last it is no longer located on any screen I have to search my personal app catalogue, alphabetically, choose it in order to use it After closing out I find that the app I just used is now somewhere on my Home Screen or tool bar, at the very least it is on one of the screens Yet if I choose a different app to use next, whether it is located on my(proverbial) desktop or if I have to search the App Library, after I close out of it that app is now in a place that is easily accessible, but the app that I used prior is no longer on the (proverbial) desktop If I want to use the previous app I have to search the App Library all over again I’m watching your video because a lot of people really like it But I don’t understand anything that you’re saying, perhaps it just doesn’t apply to my situation, but even if my situation were different I still don’t gather what you’re instructing I’m going to watch the rest and hope that I become enlightened But if either you or one of your viewers knows how to set me straight on the matter that is driving me to distraction I would relabel appreciative of some advice that I can follow 4:12
You can relocate widgets in vertical mode and horizontal mode to some degree. Ive been doing it for months. You have to customize it in each mode separately.
Yayyyyy I made it work! The Widgy widget! It’s a pain though, because it requires taking a screenshot first, so the transparent background isn’t really transparent, it just mimics the wallpaper. Meh. But thanks though, I love it!
No matter what I do, I can’t get the time and weather widget on my Home Screen. I was able to get it into widget. But when I go to jiggle, then to Widgy, it wants me to create a widget.

You should’ve done a tutorial on how to make the dual icons for the shortcuts. That’s the one thing I’m missing for mi iPad and it would’ve been real useful
I just got my iPad mini yesterday with Apple Pencil 2 and I was shocked how awful my handwriting is. I was hoping to replace my notebook. I bought a matte screen protector from TechArmor (was highly recommended for drawing by RU-vidr). Do you have any tips on how I can make writing feel better and more legible?
I use Paperlike when it comes to a screen protector that also serves as a writing assistant, but I can’t say how it compares to TechArmor since I’ve never tried it.

If you go to ‘Manage’ and then ‘Set transparent background’ it will give you the instructions, however you will have to pay a few $ to unlock this feature. Worth it imo :)

the calendar widget doesn't seem to be working for me. It has a black background and when you tap it, it says " this type of tap action isn't compatible with widely anymore" Any one else having this issue?

Hmm i copied the Widget for the clock exactly from the URL and it looks the same except its not transparent its white. Is that normal? Not sure how you got yours transparent, do I need to edit it to get that? Also, something is up with my Shortcuts. When i'm in the Shortcuts program all the executions work, but when I transfer them to a widget on my homepage I get an error on most of them saying they can't open the app, but again I then just open Shortcuts and click on the execution inside there and it works. really odd and frustrating.

This is awesome! Also as someone that just swapped to an iPad…. I CANNOT create a column of widgets. Cant move apps wherever I want either. They seem to be self aligning and it’s driving me insane. I know I’m missing a setting but where? Which? Send help please !

Hello, I recently came across your content and I absolutely love it & dove right in! I have a question about widgy widget though, I have different focus modes on my iPad with different wallpapers. I have a couple of “blank space/transparent” widgets that when the focus modes change, the image doesn’t correspond to the different wallpaper (hope that made sense). Any/all suggestions are greatly appreciated
Is there a way of having multiple backgrounds to align with different wallpapers? So far I only see an option to upload a light/dark version of a wallpapers

Please don’t say “over and out.” In radio communication use, “over” means “I’m turning the line over to you, for your turn to talk.” “Out” means “I’m shutting down- goodbye.” So, when you say “over and out,” you are telling the other person “it’s your turn to talk now, but I am leaving and won’t be listening to you.” That is rather insulting.
I think you are the only person who’s taking this so directly 😊 If we have to precise, over and out terminates the conversation and it exists so the person on the other side is not left hanging. So…no worries 👍🏻

My 12,9 is the cleanest ipad screen ever. Only the 18 items on the dock, with Mac Icons and ordered as on an original MacOS. Second screen is the App Drawer - it would be great if in the future we can be an editable app drawer, to make that so simple as on a Mac. That's all...

@@worldwidekaii yes. You need to buy the transparent feature (background) it was 1€ for me, than it works. This thing is a screenshot from an empty background u need to add in the settings
We can actually turn the iPad to portrait and set another Home Screen arrangement so that we can have different arrangement for both landscape and portrait mode.
I cannot get my widgets to stay on the left hand side like you have yours. Do I need to have all spaces taken up by apps or shortcuts? or is there a way to stick them in place?
