*_WHAT A MONSTER WE'RE BUILDING TOGETHER, AYE GUYS!!!???_* _Can't wait to see who wins HELFYRE & today's new Lectron Carb. Stoked to have you & best of luck! Here's how to join the fun:_ www.mxrevival.com/enter-to-win-our-500cc-gas-gas-build-1
You might be jumping the gun about the CR500 way to soon. Never count out the CR500. Have you seen the TOMASIN RACING T500?? If not you might want to. BADBOY Rick Johnston seems to like it. Google it take a look.
Charles, like I said last week, this is going to break the build world! Straight up sick...the safety wire is a sweet touch. That is done in aviation as well. I did that in the Navy on our planes. Seems like ages ago now, damn, anyway...The colors you chose just fits for this build. You just have an uncanny ability for this. Thanks for bringing us the best builds on the webs man.
Thank you, Albert! That’s what Tony said, a lot of safety wire in aviation. I told him “I knew my engine builder was OCD when I went out to pee on his fence in the side yard, and the gate hardware was safety wired together the same way” 😂 I appreciate the kind words! I love building these in my head, then taking my talents and blending them with the incredible talents of others to bring you guys something overboard !
Just awesome, this is an epic collection of talent, skill, and top-tier products culminating in what is undoubtedly the BEST dirt bike build of ALL TIME! Thanks Charles! I always look forward to your episode drops! Gonna be hard to top this one!
Man… as the parts starting to come together, and I got more time with my hands on this particular build… I realized we were all building something that was even better. I didn’t think we would either. Figured it might be just as cool, but I think it blows it away. Especially with them sitting right next to each other. And the YZ is absolutely rad!!
Better than factory 🏭 bike built by the best !!!! Completely speechless on the attention to detail on this build 👏 I am going to get that throttle pipe, absolutely love the no friction design ❤ looking forward to next video already, grab a red bull and hang on to Helfyre 🔥🏁
Hahahaha it gives you wings! Thank you Mikey. I appreciate the shares on Facebook as well. Next video, we might be starting this thing! Magic button all the way. Stoked to help you out with a ZRT if I can, it’s one of my favorite dirtbike parts. Thanks for watching 🔥
THAT’S the name of the company that makes that! Could not remember for the life of me. Had one of those on my Suzuki that was outstanding too. Thanks for the tip, looks like they still make it and I have a black one for this project if I have to get rid of the original return spring entirely (Thanks for watching too!)
Elite Moto Factory: Lectron Fuel Systems: Zero Resistance Throttle: BRC Racing: Stuck Nutz: Shout out to the above as usual.....still waiting for Motul to pull their finger out and support you and uncle Tony. #Motul@Pullyourfingeroutandhelptheseguys
Hahahahah you’ve always got the best recaps! We might have to edit this one to “Maxima” but I sure knew exactly what you were talking about. 😂 Thank you for watching week in, and week out. I really appreciate it.
@mxrevival LOL damn phones. I did a search on Motul gearbox oil for my 81' PE175X earlier in the day and it auto corrected Maxima to Motul!. F@#k it...#MaximaandMotulpullyourfingeroutandhelptheseguys. FIXED🤣
I mentioned that in the video, but I must’ve clipped it out or something during the edit. You’re talking about the return spring that mounts underneath the rear master cylinder, right? Those things work great. I’ve seen so many of those factory in Springs break just like you said.
@@mxrevival yes rubber boot that goes on end of master cylinder. I put one on my 23 ec300 love it. Use to have to clean it out all the time. The s3 boot seals it and your able to remove spring. Real clean setup
Do you guys at BRC racing ever coat the gears with titanium dioxide or Diamond Like Carbon to strengthen the internal gearing ? I would also think that DLC coating the piston wrist pin would greatly help the piston to last for quite a few hours longer!
We’ve got something brewing on the side for Cameron. It’s live on my website now, just getting some more logistics together and information for everybody. The kickstart shaft on ANIHLATR broke right in the middle of the magazine test. Just need to replace that. Has not been a super pressing issue because we don’t get back to California very often, in which case I just need to have it ready again by the time HELFYRE is complete so we can bring them down together
Waking up in the morning to a fresh mxrevival build video is like Christmas in July! Man when this thing is done have you thought about displaying it at Carl's or somewhere for a bit? Just to show everyone what is possible and I'd love to see the monster in person🔥🔥.
What’s up dude! So pumped to read that. YES I think often about taking it down to Carl’s for a week or so. I’m leaving it on display. I haven’t talk to them about it, but I know it won’t be an issue. Going to do my best to pull that off.
Thank you! Just paying those dues! Can’t go wrong with you backing us. Your support, and the shares are what really help this thing grow 😍 Thanks for being here week in and week out
Back to back on the dyno my CR500 absolutely smokes my BRC engine with a much wider power delivery more over rev and higher peak power. The BRC has a late delivery snappy power while the CR has instant power accross the entire rpm range. I do love all my big bore bikes and the snappy BRC is no exception to that, its like a 90's 2 stroke with aggressive sudden power delivery. However the CR has the better performance by far.
Could it be because the old cr 500s had no counter balancer maybe why they had a better power spread which is quite interesting in itself because they didn't have powervalves either honda always made the best engines
I feel as though my KX500 has the best spread of power specifically because of the power valve. To me the CR comes on pipe quicker with more snap . Both awesome engines. Would love to sample anything similar and modern
@SIFT3R Im genuinely interested to see dyno sheets and hear more about rideability in general as im considering a brc500 bike as big dune cross country desert bike. Do you have a facebook or insta i can follow about your bikes?
Counterbalancer is useless dead weight if you have your crank trued and balanced to within a microgram of its life. I have a YZ490 (a notorious shaker from the factory) that is completely vibration free thanks to a perfectly lazer trued and balanced crank. I will have this done for my KX500 & CR500s when its time to rebuild them too.
Excellent content, really well presented, not sure why Charles spent most of the clip bent over awkwardly when the build could be raised on the work stand ..
Thanks for the compliment! I like minimal wiggle, maximum control for scratches, and less distance to the ground if I get fat fingers and drop an engine. 🤣 Much easier to be above the heavy thing (for me) than to lift it up.
Seems like the 500 world is going through a Renaissance with several companies making new lectric start/counterbalanced mills along with Lectrons new big boy 39 w low end power circuits building more accurate torque than ever. Just did a Billitron Pro 38 on my sons '02 CR250 with 5 hours on rebuild and it makes the pwk air stryker feel like dog$hit by comparison lol.. So worth the money on the new Pro Lectrons. Solves the powerband complaints on that last gen case reed 250! Bottom end to midrange hit is now awesome! The Pro's have only been out since May '23?/~90days ..so not many people throwing reviews out there yet...but I can attest to them being 🔥
100% agree! Catch myself, saying “what a time to be alive” in regards to the 500 thing. Big bores in general. That is awesome! You could copy and paste that right onto their website as a review. I found the exact same thing to be true. Even before the pro series. Solves the old soft bottom end issue. People have a hard time accepting that, in some cases, it is better than the Keihin. For most people that is true though. Engine builders and tuners might be able to squeeze a little bit more out of them though. It’s a really great product.
Being a collector of the kx500 and cr500r big bore two strokes... I feel bad for them too after seeing this amazing build 😂. This bike is just absolutely crazy, never have I wanted to win something so bad in my life. This here takes the cake, even though I know I won't win lol but hey I can dream.
Bro, my fingers are crossed for you. You just never know. You really, truly, just never know. Thank you so much for the kind words and for watching! I really enjoyed reading your comment.
@@mxrevival I dont think a 700 has ever been set up like what you have accomplished on your previous magazine bikes. #5 a big bore Maico mx700? With your skill it would be in every mx magazine in the world. Love to see it :)
Hi, we are selling our BRC 500cc used for 20h it’s like new fits for Husqvarna, KTM and Gas Gas From 2017- it’s with completely kit with bigger raditors tank, mapping 500cc, also TBI SYSTEM, clutch Cover rekluse, we can talk about the price. For more info and photos please write…
Came out so great! BRC would have replacement parts, and these engines are using common wear parts from the CR 500, rather than something exotic and hard to get. As far as rebuild hours, you could probably put hundreds of hours on the crank if you’re running the proper pre-mix ratio, and taking good care of her. Top end, I like to change them at 50 hours on 250s but even though it’s not always necessary. It’s just a personal preference. This engine will make so much power, that most of it will not even be able to be utilized regularly, meaning the engine will also last longer. I bet a piston in one of these would look fine after 100 hours, but it’s just a guess. If you’re Justin Barcia in riding ability, top ends will go much faster 😭 probably closer to the 10 hour range. Again, that’s a guess!
Thanks, Dave! No, he belongs to Josh and he has the title now. Since it broke during the magazine test, still needs to be repaired. I’ve not been in a hurry, because we don’t get to California very much, and I will just bring it back down for the retest when we finish HELFYRE 💪
It's all good I get. Wow that thing is a beautiful beast well done on it so far it looks gorgeous as do all your bikes. I appreciate the content and spreading your knowledge. Thank you.
I’m going to have to do a little bit of grinding. Just waiting until I have the final clutch cover. Otherwise I would be ruining the others for no reason.😂 Thank you for watching!
Hi dude! For now, the contest is limited to North America because I am not positive regarding international laws. Additionally, there’s also shipping, duties, and customers fees to be considered for a potential winner in a different country. Trust me, I would love to open these up worldwide. Just need to become a bit more educated on certain rules before that happens.
welllll..... please don't " feel bad for the Honda CR500 & Kawasaki KX500 " Mr. "Revival" ... this BRC sure is a great engine, BUT IT'LL NEVER BE AS EXCITING AS THE OLD MAULERS !!! so, keep it down and have some respect !
Hahahaha love it! Can’t hate one the ones the BRC emulates to a point! We’re just having fun and need a title to get you hyped. It works, and I appreciate your viewership 🙌 Love for all 500’s and two strokes in general
Why did you feel bad only for Japan out of all the motorcycle companies. As if no other Western motorcycle company exists except KTM. If you weren't a racist, that thought wouldn't occur to you.
