If you live in a major city you should be able to find a similar type of bread and make it at home. Won’t have the same vibe though…..but you might find a corner store that makes a bagel version. I saw one in Atlanta

I make a crazy bacon, egg, cheese at home 😩 I do mine on a whole wheat bun or a plain bagel. I can’t wait to try it out with a different bagel/bun. It goes crazy with jelly but I just tried it with a little ketchup & mayo & it was so good. Can’t wait to try some of these sandwich recipes at home. I’ll have to go get some fresh bagels and homemade jelly next time. Not a fan of biscuits too much but great video!

Growing up in Queens, NYC we always put our Bacon Egg & Cheese in a croissant 🥐 not a bagel 🥯. The flavors hit different.

YES!! Someone else that puts Jelly on the BEC.. you’re the man!! Try Bagels & Buns on Staten Island!! Store made hard rolls and Bagels.. voted #5 Bagel store on the Island and best everything bagel in NY a few years back!! See Mikee!!

I’m from the south (mobile, Alabama) my sister lived in elmhurst queens, NYC has some of the best sandwiches in the world I walked down a bodega and ordered mines lol the look on their face when I ordered mines speaking with a southern dialect lol oh and I’m from the south gotta put that grape jelly on mines

I don't remember where, but there was a gas station down on the west side that had a small griddle, and a damn good BEC that was cheap. Maybe toward Tenth? It's over a decade ago now, but when I worked for St. Vincent's Hospital we would often get. The thing with NYC, they're mostly ALL good!

Do they not do pork roll in NY or is that pretty much just Jersey? I used to and still do love a BEC, but I gotta say I switched to a PEC after trying that for the first time. And i'll put that on any bread, but I prefer it on a nice poppy seed bun.... mmmmmm getting real hungry watching this.

Gourmet Bagel on the upper east side by Central Park 65th & Lex is a decent spot. I had a BEC there when I was visiting w my buddy and it was pretty good. The bagel was awesome but I’m used to upstate eggs… we just make classic griddle eggs over medium and slap em right on the sandwich. I’m not sure if I like that or the NYC way better
