Look up 12 volt adhesive heat pads. you can simply stick them to the outside of the water tanks and have them on a switch so overnight you can turn them on. the only downside i can see is they will take energy. To increase effecinacy i would look into making a sleeve out of aluminum bubble wrap called "reflextics" or "double bubble". when i was fighting wildfires i would make a custom sleeve out of that stuff for my non-insulated water bottles and it would make my ice last at least twice as long. so using that same principle, a heating pad in between the insulation and water tank should give you no problems.

get a cheap betta fish aquarium heater, can probably change the plug to a cigarette outlet and just plop it in when it could freeze and unplug when not in use. only issue is the temp isn't really adjustable they come set to like 72-76 degrees but should be just enough to keep it from freezing when its cold out, use one in my bair bucket in the garage in upstate ny winter and it never freezes. could probablly due some insulation on the hoses/pelican boxes to kee pall that jazz from turning solid.

Found your video searching for water system idea. Cool usage on the coastal bumper swingout! One question (concern) as I just came to the part of you mentioning long range fuel tank. I have that in my cruiser hence not using the jerry can holder from Coastal. But the long ranger take up the space in ur spare tire which makes the back of the vehicle very heavy... with more liquid in jerry cans at the back that’s quite a lot of weight in the rear. Something to consider

Great job. One question I have and i looked at your diagram. Did you miss a part on the list? On the QD, one end goes to your garden hose while the other end connect to the 1/2 hose. How is the 1/2 hose connect to the QD? Don't you need some type of 1/2 barbed hose and 3/4 female to connect to the QD?

I really like this system man, and I think I’m gonna implement it for my 4Runner. Question, for the top, larger Harbor Freight container, just wondering if you ever considered or tried attaching it lid first? I wanted to slightly alter your idea and attach it lid first so the tub can fold down and become a de facto sink with a makeshift drain & plug. Just don’t know how sturdy those containers/hinges are and if there’s enough space between the boxes to accommodate the tub folding down. If there isn’t enough space, you think flipping the locations of the small and large container fixes that issue? So large container on the bottom, with tub folding down unobstructed by the other container housing the pump? Would love your input! This system is amazing.
