That seat Jo's sitting in, in America was called a Rumble seat. My mom told me when she was alive, that they had to stop making those, because people were getting decapitated in accidents, when the seat got slammed shut. So I was unpleasantly shocked when she got into it.

well, children who attend private shools are significantly more likely to attend good universities and have a higher income as an adult. It's quite literally an investment in their future
@@annmcdonald6180 if that were the case, then all schools would have equal outcomes. The curriculum is almost irrelivent, it's the quality of the teachers, the overall culture of the school, class sizes, extra-curricular activities, equipment, parent involvement etc. that make the difference
but I reckon the children have been through a tortuous time going through a divorce so as any good mum she probably does not want to rip them from their friends. At least she wants 1 thing to be consistent in their lives. Not the children's fault the parents broke up. At least she's working 4 jobs...does not seem she's asking for handouts
Don't these guys have a website where they can sell their stuff? They are always saying "if I knew a buyer" or "finding a buyer may be difficult." I guess private dealings with the wealthy may feel more prestigious, but a website would work well I think.
I highly suspect the reason why the divorced woman waited or did not call back regarding her jewelry.....is because her husband acquired the set through a dodgy deal ..why would he give it to you AFTER the party . Was the piece payment for some dodgy dealings , 185 k the payment for it .. is that what he told you ? .....Very suspicious . Does anybody know the follow up regarding this part of the story.

She definitely low balled the older lady. $3k for a 4-5ct diamond with a lot of inclusions, $3k for a good quality 1.5ct diamond ring and $1k for a very good quality 1ct diamond band. That is ridiculous. The pawn shop will make over $20k of profit off from that.
Couldnt you strip that drum kit and mount the diamonds onto rings, there could be a million, how many rings could it make, maybe that's big profit, maybe not lol
