I bought the game a few days ago and been playing with some friends. Took some time to get it going but now im level 67 with 70 hours in the game. This really gets you lots of Xp, but has a good learning curve. I take 2/3 hunts to be sure of the ghost.

much appreciated advice, I've tried insym's game mode advice and level up pretty decently, but I'm always on the look out for the best tips and hints to be good, if not great at this game

Rq, there are 4 glitched spots on this map I wanted to share with you. The first 3 are more well known, while the last is one in which only I and a select few know. Why? Because I was the one who discovered it (It's busted). 1: The most well known, and the one most people use: The Lovers' Bench. This one requires you to grab the door of the purple tent in the Kids area (The small tent next to the wooden pole almost directly in front of the main gate a few yards away), walk toward slightly left of the chair off to the back right corner of the purple tent, look straight down and crouch, make sure you are up against the Lovers' Bench (Or the wooden food storage table as some have called it) and the chair, and while still continually walking, uncrouch. If you performed it correctly, you should snap into place atop the Lovers' Bench. Last simple step, stay toward the back part of the Lover's Bench, and align yourself with the wooden support beam in the center. If you have completed everything I have described correctly, the ghost cannot harm you, even while you are in line of sight, while it's hunting. 2: The Second most well known, and best spot to use for grinding (In my opinion): The Yellow Tent. Walk to the outside on the right of the yellow tent (Located on the very left side of the map in the picnic area), you should be touching the tent and the fence. Look roughly 50 degrees from the fence inward toward the tent wall, and grab the tent door. The door should have large enough of a hitbox, you should easily be able to grab it. Once you have, look directly down and toward the fence, and crouch. Now, just walk forward and uncrouch. If you performed it correctly, you should have jumped the fence, and be in this weird out-of-bounds area between the fence and the tent. To get out, simply follow the previous steps mentioned (including facing the fence), but this time, grab the the tent by facing the tent pole (the metal tube thing which holds up the tent, which is also located directly left of the tent window). Note: while the ghost is hunting, DO NOT step within a couple steps of the fence, for the ghost can reach you. 3: The Third and my personal least favorite: The Small Blue Tent. In the kids area, next to the big Red tent, there is a small blue tent. While standing, stand inside the center of the doorway of the tent (the tent has to be opened in order for you to stand in it's doorway), and close the tent up. Yes, this is all you need to do, but this spot is very finicky during ghost hunts. The ghost should not be able to kill you, if performed incorrectly, unless you crouch while in this spot. 4: The Fourth, the quirkiest, and my personal favorite: The Trees. Yes, you heard me right, you can climb into the trees. This one is the hardest to get into, and the absolute most finicky one of them all (in a good way). To first setup, make sure hiding spots are disabled, or one of these places are filled. You cannot perform the glitch if the places are filled with a cooler, and it's harder to do if the places are filled with bean bags. Final note, I have had a harder time being not the host than being the host, for this spot. I have come to realize, the mechanic in which you use to get into these spots is client/server super-positioned, based off of what the host sees. Simply put, crouch on the left side of the inside of the doorway of either small tent in the kids area. Now look straight down, walk directly forward of what would be into the tent, and uncrouch. Make sure you are still continually walking forward after you uncrouch. I have not found a better consistent way to perform this exploit than what I have described. If someone manages to find an exact (or highly consistent) route for executing this exploit, please let me know. In this spot, you cannot leave what would be the tents boundaries, for you are on top of the tent's hitbox. If you do leave this spot, you will be immediately teleported to in front of the tent you performed this exploit with. Random jank with this spot: There are certain spots around the map in which the ghost will stop moving while hunting, while someone is in one of these spots. One being next to the campfire on the side toward the bathrooms, one being near the outside of the first campfire log on the right from the front gate, one being in front of and to the left of the purple tent, and the last I have noted being wedged near the chair by Lovers' Bench.

I had 100 hours took a year break and came back now. Turned on sprint until I unlocked smudge sticks and now I’m lvl 30 with good money in less than an hour. I can get ghost 1/5 times usually but thank you so much

I have 1450 hours (mostly before level reset) and I'm slogging away for prestige 3, I'm gonna give this a go. Thank you!

Its takes awhile to learn what each ghost does. So for us less experienced players were stuck with other guides until we spend another 500 hundred more hours.

i wish there was a sandbox mode in phasmophobia because i dont really play this game a lot but i dont want to work with tire one stuff which is why i am searching for this money farming method and i guess once you reach the knowledge of winning the game based on 1 or 2 info there is nothing else for you in this game if you are trying to have fun with friends

one question how do you get that overlay for the game?

Im level 16 trying to do this and I have all low level items. How Could I go about doing this, being fairly new to the game and not being super familiar with the ghosts? Also, my crucifix and incense isnt doing anything to protect me

This is great and all, but what if you don't have the knowledge to identify ghosts that quickly because you have crappy t1 gear are only level 10? Even using online guides, sheets, googling ghost traits and what not I probably guess right once every 50 runs..... The only ghosts I can identify by sight are the form changing ones, the Poltergeist who throws stuff all the time and the Jinn who speeds up massively when you're in its line of sight. That's literally it. I can't stay alive long enough to figure out any other traits. Plus you never get the bonus if you're dead. I do the LOS trick as shown here but it still catches up with me even when sprinting.

Actually what is Yurei speed though? I don't think there's such thing as that.
