This is amazing and i love everything you guys do. It is always helpful to follow some of your tips. However it's not that easy to get the desired results. Some of us have mechanical stuff to improve and it is hard because we don't know what to correct, no matter how many tweaks we try, the ball won't break how we want. So here's an idea for you: take a couple of guys currently trying to learn a certain pitch, train them, see what works and what doesn't with their particular mechanics, and make a video out of it. If you can make an average Joe learn a dirty screwball that he thought would never throw... that would be SO COOL and we would all learn so much from your process. Thank you!
I used to have some nasty pitches in wiffleball. Still got a slider but that’s about it, definitely gonna learn to throw a blitzball this year using this tutorial.
Epic video Jack! Very Informative! I have been practicing my wiffleball pitches a lot this year. Hopefully this will speed up the process to helping me become a better wiffleball pitcher!
This is awesome, wish I had a blitzball league to play in lol. At Blitzball Blitz I showed Dan your Knuckle Drop, I reverse engineered it. Great video Jack!
I want to tell you something about my knucledrop that you can incorporate into yours my grip is similar to your slider/curve grip but i put my pointer and middle finger knuckle on the ball. then, just like you i throw it like a fastball but i dont flick it. the grip gives it top spin. The biggest thing about this grip that im not sure you can easily do with your grip is that i can throw an effective knuckledrop form the sidearm and submarine arm angles as well as over the top. when i throw sidearm, it is similar to slider movement but it drops a little at the end instead of a straight path to the side. when i throw submarine its a screwball arm slot and it moves like a slider does but from a different slot.
Please throw this pitch, you throw it like a riser, but the holes are facing up. This makes the ball drop like a rock hitters expect it to rise. It’s unhittable.
If you're trying to throw these pitches for the first time and not getting good results, don't get too discouraged. I practiced wiffleball pitches for hours this summer and I only really got one pitch down. It takes a ton of practice, but the results are incredibly satisfying if you work hard enough.
I have no problem with any of the blitzball pitches, except for the two seam. it’ll move like one inch and i’m throwing it and spinning it as hard as possible, any recommendations to improve the run?
I'm trying to throw a 2 seam but all side arm to only have side spin, and some times some backspin. But my seam is always a bit tilted like a / line. Can someone help please?
Really weird pitch: submarine cutter. Hold the ball with a screwball grip and throw it SUPER submarine (think underhand). The ball will naturally rise due to your arm angle but also move like a slider. Super weird.
