hey Coach, I like the Shallow with this also against cover 2, or even man. What about cover 3. would you wheel the F?

+Scott Rigsby Coach, You could wheel him, or you could tag the L or R to run a curl route. This is what I do when teams play cover 3 and the curl is wide open.

Also, I would have the LT & LG double the inside tackle and LT takes on the backer to his side, Center blocks down on the nose, RH pulls and kicks out backside DE, RT man on man on his DE. That would give you a nice trap on the Backside DE, to go along with the Y Cross pass concept.

You can also do a Switch Cross concept. R runs a switch route that turns into the cross route while Y runs a wheel dig. Another little wrinkle to throw in.

+Eric Kilpatrick Coach, That's s great concept. We've used it a little bit in the spring. When the protection holds up then it is usually six points.

Really would've loved seeing the film live on this play. I call this a MP (movement Pass) and you're going 6 man protection pretty much right coach?

+Coach Burk That's right coach. Hopefully I will have some film from this summer and I can do another video on it. The play action sucks the defense right up.
