Truck Cemetery and The Wild Territory are like public toilets, only go in there if you actually really really have to.

Imo clear sky is pretty fun. Treads a fine line between keeping some fun factions to fight, and getting access to some extra toys later on by getting buddy buddy with the mercs. Duty is pretty fun as well. Makes army warehouses a nice lil warzone for you to have fun in if you want a nice quick firefight, or you can storm the army base, both very fun, unfortunately you don’t get to bully the military but they have some neat stuff to sell.

As someone who is an active and now intermediate player of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly community, I would suggest people go play a few games of Anomaly on Novice/Stalker. You are going to need to understand the game quite a bit, finding your way around the map, but remember! The further south you are from the north, you are pretty safe. If you are further north of the south, your going to face some problems. Psy-health is a big thing to keep an eye on in this game and the artifacts you cam build, awesome!

What seems to almost never appearing is `growing up` in Red Forest loot-wise. Quite a lot of ground marks to navigate at nights with the Moon without night vision, avoiding fights almost completely, yet looting the best gear since day one. Quite a lot of fights and dead squads where just one member survives, thus easy to finish it off, getting all the loot untouched. Tons of artefacts from Sin, mutant parts from Loners, gear & meds from Monolith. Most intense feeling of near death experience and being a scared smart ass pays it off with fastest progression, which ultimately shows the skiil. Yes, may require to sit out some time before the first mutants are killed on entering RF, but once established there, everything becomes manageable for a brave soul.

I started a new playthrough since the last big update, and i feel like i've been playing for like 20+ hours... still rocking my OG over under hunting shotgun, and a shit pistol i managed to find parts for. Almost... have an AK47 built.. but can't replace the parts until i can make a weapon c tool kit... still fun though. Your making me want to give EFP a shot though. Great Vid.

This is a bit of a different game but you should check out, 'Intravenous 2'. Not currently released just yet but there is playable demo and he closest thing you can compare it to is Hotline Miami, MGS, and Tom Clancy Splinter Cell

the first time i played gamma, i was in love, i played on a laptop at 20-30fps, not ideal but i still played gamma a sooooo much, now i have my dream pc that i wanted since i was 11, playing gamma at 80-90fps, and im having a lot of fun, ur the reason i got into gamma Custer, thanks man 👍

I´m thinking about clear sky, duty or freedom. Clear sky is nice challenge cause of starting area but duty and freedom can be fun as they are so close to each other, could be interesting choices. Also very nice video. Keep it up

I would very much like a playthrough, please I am begging. I don't care about the faction, I just wish for someone to show me the ropes as I have never played this game or any of them before and this modpack seems to be very daunting. You also seem to have a history of the lore under your belt. I love your ghost recon videos and I think you could do a playthrough justice as your narratives are top-notch! Looking forward to what you put together!

Personally I feel there should be more ISG, SIN, or Military playthroughs. Currently running a SIN faction and loving the change of pace compared to my normal Loner, Merc, or Freedom runs.

I love doing that during my playthrough, being 100% 'immerged' in the mood. I see you've got links to a modpack in the description and to graphic modification. Is this a personal modification of EFP 4.0 or not? Because the graphic style you have on your game (screen space shaders i guess ?) is very uncommon on youtube videos dedicated to Anomaly. And apart from that, I understand that you do custom builds at the beginning of the video. Do you have a link to a personnal modpack or complete build ? Or would you have the idea of doing a goal-oriented build in the future?

think you could post some kind of infographic or something of your exact settings? I feel like i have a pretty decent rig (Ryzen 9 5900x12-core running at 3.7ghz, 64gigs of ram and an Nvidea 3080) and my game doesnt look nearly as pretty as yours. I feel like it might just be a settings issue. Not that my game looks bad but you have that extra "oomph" that makes it look incredible and im dying to experience that. took me ages just to get water puddles working lol

based GAMMA enjoyer here, we just love the feeling of destitution and poverty when picking barely usable scraps from the fallen, only EFP virgins need to go buy gear from the shop. jokes and banter aside, id love to watch an EFP series. with the high level of polish, amazing cinematography and immersive story-telling style of your videos it will be epic for sure. i have played every faction except bandits and renegades and for me the one that stood out the most from all of them in terms of being cool and unique was monolith. imagine the all the dark stories and sinister scenarios you could come up with that background.

You should mention the part where its completely broken and unplayable. I have had so many issues with this game I think I have spent 20 hours of my free time trying to get it to work right and it works but it has a lot of issues. So frustrating.

Having high quality and realistic weapon models and animations on top of a dated game with pretty bad NPC models and animations is just jarring and looks silly. I'd much rather it not stand out.
