All sounds great, but you guys really need to do some marketing if you want this product adopted by the dev community. Or, you may just end up banckrupt
It's a pretty good description, it's basically tRPC with the database and platform included, which is a considerable productivity increase. The catch is that it takes a while to get used to the development workflow, but you get a lot for committing to it.
Yes, Convex can already be bundled by Bun and the httpClient works from the Bun runtime. As of today Bun's WebSocket implementation isn't quite complete (it's doesn't send ping messages to keep the connection alive) so the Convex subscription client doesn't work yet, but I bet this will be fixed soon in Bun.
...OK so if I understand, any business that uses this will lose all knowledge and control of what makes their app actually work (not to mention the ability to customize or change anything), to trade everything for faith in a black box run by a fledgling startup that popped up out of nowhere?
