Bro I’ve had a stasis farm for so long and I didn’t even know about half this stuff it’s so much easier now and I can make far more stasis devices thanks 🙏
For those of you actually interested in money (units)... Do not make a stasis device farm. There are two reasons for this. First the farm to be worth anything needs at least 20 biodomes and massive amounts of stuff from 3 different bases on 3 different planets. It takes so much time to build it. Second: you can make equal or more money simply making a gold farm which will take up maybe 1/10 of the time it takes to make a stasis device farm. If you do want a challenge though, go for the stasis device farm :) (mine has 30 biodomes)
Watch the video before commenting next time man, that's all covered in there. Not a great take, and dumb flex too. Gold works, sure, duh, it's a gold mine. That's completely counter to the reason this video was made, and literally, no one asked you. Let me explain why this irks me: as you stated, the setup alone takes a long time for a stasis Device farm. You're right, it does. A lot of time. I created ALL of this for this video alone. A LOT of mines, and a base specifically for this video. The prep time was nuts. When it was finally ready, I filmed. Lots of people found this to be helpful, but then some rando shows up to say "Don't do this" after all that work. Showing how to make one of the most complicated things in the game (which some people legitimately want to see) isn't a bad thing and it's something to die and work towards. Any moron knows you can set up a mine for anything and get unlimited money over time. Duh. Your comment is just silly, and honestly designed to undermine the video and the person posting it, waving a hand as if they're dumb. I know you'll come back with some really angry or fired up response, and that's not what I'm looking for. Just needed to let you know why I'm responding like this. Have a good day.
Gold ??? 😂😂😂 i see you havent even found activated indium yet people like you need to calm their tits and understand that all this effort makes you much much more money and is really worth the effort were talking about 15.000.000 per item and when it starts going you can pop out maybe 10 at the time that 150 million in couple of minutes once all resources are there Your gold mine is laugheble compared to that i can even call you lazy because you havent even found activated indium wich would make you much much more then gold but even then a stasis device farm is more lucrative
@@DreadCaptainJames Maybe don't title your video "the ultimate way to make money" if you're gonna get butthurt when someone comes up with a better way.
When I was brand new, I had a friend join my game and he gave me a stack of them like it was nothing. I sold and was set for the rest of that save. It was so cool, so it's nice to be able to pay it forward and show how to make them!
They're fantastic for selling and you'll get a ton of units for them, otherwise they just take up space. Each one is worth upwards of 15.6 million units.
I have more or less the same setup, except much larger scale. I use 3 storage units to build the same "tech tree" in each and as I harvest I just add to the storage units until they are about full, then I build about 50 stasis devices. (I always leave a bit of the different resources in the storage container as to keep the "tech tree" for easy adding resources and to see what I need of...it also help that I do not get too much in my own inventory while out adventuring)
The other thing you can craft like this is fusion igniters. there is a way to craft these fusion igniters within a large Gek cargo ship. also if the copyglitch techniques still work you can just make one and then copy as many as you need
I find smaller bases MUCH easy to manage. Even scaling up to make just one more Stasis Device, you'd be at cap in little under five days. Even in my Living Glass farming days, I was making so much, I didn't know what to spend my units on lol. I have never done a Stasis Device farm because of how involved it is, but I think I will this time around while I have the NMS bug. Thanks for the clean base.
I had a stasis farm when i started playing after the better updates (casual player owned the game since release) but ive just learned more in 4 min about refining than i ever knew..
so Im at the beginning of the game and just made it to the anomaly, someone just gave me 10 of these things. So what would be the best way to sell them? go to the space station or look for a trading post like the video says? im not sure how crazy pirates are to defeat since im at the start of the game and dont want to lose them.
Thanks for this, I just started playing again after thr new psvr2 update. Once I could I made a huge Activated Indium farm, only to find it only makes 1/10th the units it used to. The days of having billions of units seem to be gone, but this farm definitely helps. BTW, my AI farm makes 10mil a day, and one Stasid Device is 33% more, really helpful. Peace.
@@Lizards_LoungeI built a Stasis Device farm and Fusion Ignitor farm, and gold farm, and silver farm lol. Thanks for tip though, I kinda went overboard.
I cut my size down to less biodomes wo\ire glitching many plants into a single spot.. Also shrink the plant racks that give you carbon, works not only to cram alot of carbon fast, but works for lighting and decotation as well.
As somebody that just started playing the game three weeks ago, this is what I will work at tomorrow. Somebody gave me a stasis device one time a few weeks ago when I started and I keep asking myself where do I find those? Loll but this all makes sense. I am a new player but believe it or not I think I have everything to build the bio domes lol I just can’t ever get lucky and find deposits I only find salt deposits everywhere :((
First, welcome to No Man's Sky! Second, if you're having trouble, I'll do a video about finding different types of hot spots, so be in the lookout. Safe travels and hit us up if you have questions!
@@DreadCaptainJames I did it! Everything I don’t running and will pull 8,750 and I have a similar farm set up and ready to go. I watched the vid like 8 times lol but so much good info in a 9 min video!!! Thank you so much this is like literally probably the best money :)
Something i picked up somewhere about biodomes... plant the plants on the planet surface in a very tight density by going into the free camera placement mode and zooming into the ground as far as possible. Then place the dome on top of the plants. When they grow up and are ready to pick, you can use the harvest all in the biodome to harvest all of the plants that stick through the bottom of the biodome towards the center of the dome. I have domes where i can single click harvet 1000s of the plant resource. I think the planet has to have the correct environment to grow the plant since they are not planted inside, but i have never tested it. And it has to be powered to do the harvest, but only building a couple of domes per resource on an appropriate planet versus dozens and faster harvest. It's a huge win to me.
That's really cool, I had no idea that could work, but it makes sense. I've used glitch building to do something similar. I shrunk down a bio dome, and glitched hundreds of plants around where the dome is. Even when shrunken, it still occupies the same area when you hit harvest all, so it's a similar idea. Cool plan, I'll have to try that because it's cool to use the right planet type to actually grow these plants!
@@DreadCaptainJames yeah it seems that it checks a cylinder and harvests in that volume. Maybe you could also add dirt back into that volume and plant even more? Testing to be had there is
I have maxed out my units several times 4.6 billion and change I think it is. I just have large venom plant farms forget first name of plant and large gold mines but this level of mining comes a little later in game play. But it's easy enough.
It's a piece in the timber collection. If you don't have it, head to the anomaly and the base construction terminal where you can find it and buy the blueprint.
I placed four EM generators on a regular size floor, then put glass from the timber construction options around it with a little variation to keep it interesting. I think it looks really good!
Got 2 stacks of these from a very generous stranger while I was hanging out in the Anomaly. ~300M as a brand new player means I can just buy whatever I want for the most part. Got an S-class fighter, S-class multi-tool, and have gotten loads of exosuit slots via nav data that I make sure to buy whenever I see it. I'm far enough now that I make more than I spend, but I do still spend somewhat wisely since there are a few items that cost a lot. What are the best things to use Units for? I understand buying a lot of the components and resources, but that'll only last so long as it seems you'll be required to set up farming bases for various things mid and late game. Thanks for showing what I'll need to make my own! Now to just go farm several stacks of building materials...
Duping is always a win 💯 for sure. I've been yelled at by chat a ton of times for showing people how to do that. Probably shown a couple thousand people how to do it at this point 😂. We have an emote that says "All I need is 1" just for that reason 👀
My friend who just started with 20 hours in the game hung out in the anomaly and some random guy gave him 60 stasis device (whether by mistake or intentional) and he was awestruck by suddenly becoming a millionaire
I love/hate when people do this. They do it to be nice, but it can kinda ruin things since it's so much money. You could just destroy them, or sell them... It's legitimately a hard choice
@@DreadCaptainJames it at least just give less😭 i like one would be a lit more reasonable, i hate it because im jealous😭😭😭 he got so much stuff that i havent even tho hes been playing for like a weel like 2 hours a day average and i have 30 hours on my save
@vee7435 I feel you there. Yeah, I wish people just wouldn't do it at all. Remember, with NMS, it's the journey, not the destination that is important. Take your time, don't rush, enjoy the travel.
You got a Sub and a like from me dude. That was an excellent video. I'll go ahead and watch your other videos and see what else i can learn. Thanks for an excellent video 👍
Whatever you like to do is the best, full stop. I went for the most expensive and complicated unit in the game, that's all. Stasis devices/fusion ignitors yield a ton, but also have an insane setup to make them. I love the circuit board idea, that's pretty brilliant.
@@DreadCaptainJames I haven’t played in a few years and came back with Worlds pt 1…to be fair. My CB farm was how I was making money but having discovered Sentinel Ship farming that is what I do now when I need money or nanites. Cheers!
That's actually really impressive that someone found you. If you don't want that to happen again, go into your settings > network > disable PVP. It'll prevent that from happening again. Also, if you already knew this, sorry for the unsolicited advice! Sorry you got ganked so many times!
@@DreadCaptainJames cheers have done that, ...well I had 300 thousand when I died just spent 9 mil, I think the person dropped 500mil so I took it now I have it.🙄😂
Yeah, don't play the game, just cheat cuz lazy 👍. Much good, very cool. In fact, why stop there, just turn on creative mode. Or, even better, maybe don't play it at all!
What building pieces did you use for the whole farm base? I wanna know the building pieces that you used to house the electromagnetic generators. Gave me an idea of a power plant structure.
While playing No Man's Sky, I engaged in some lucrative money farming activities (albeit not at the level demonstrated in the video). However, I find myself puzzled about the purpose of accumulating such a substantial wealth. It may seem like a naive question, but I'm genuinely curious - what exactly can be purchased with this abundance of in-game currency? As a relatively new player with a substantial 600 million units, I'm unsure if there's something significant I might be overlooking. Any guidance on how to make the most of my wealth would be greatly appreciated.
Buying slots in your ship or multi tool can quickly deplete even a maxed out wallet of over 4 billion, so that's one. Honestly speaking, having over 500 mil basically means there's nothing off limits for purchase, so it's really a situation of accruing it for the sake of it, or spending it for expansions. S Class freighters can be upwards of 300 mil or sometimes rarely higher, so there are some things you need substantial funds for, but otherwise not much. Ship hunting and expansion can be extremely expensive, so expendable money is always good.
@@DreadCaptainJames what i did for getting ship inventory is buying cheap ships in a space station and sell them, its taking time but every some ships it give me augmentation item thing.
@shanky.y that definitely works, also pricey as you can loose about a million or two per ship. Makes sense though as it works. Just stay clear of haulers, super expensive lol
The secret is the doors. Prefabs can connect to non-prefabs by using the non-prefabs doors. So, if you drop down that wooden door, a landing pad should attach to it
