I haven't exactly spent hours researching all things NMS, but, you just showed me how to defeat a freighter. I had no idea about shooting out the engines. Thank you very much!
Ive been looking for a beginners guide to haulers to understand the ship type I want, and this video convinced me. I definitely NEED a hauler. I just wish i understood the game better to know what exactly that means i want.
If you enjoy this build, perfect. If you love the heavy machine gun, peeerfect. If you want to be efficient... sorry but it's mid tier. Flamethrower kills hordes of enemies, even more combined with flame grenades or eagle strikes, shreds through chargers, can be reloaded while moving, doesn't need to be tap fired to save ammo, just hold that thing down, and doesn't require a ammo pack to be good. Even the autocanon is stronger at horde kills, has faster reloads, a ton of ammo, king at closing bug holes, shrieker nests and spore mushrooms. Grenade launcher is a classic against terminids. The hmg is good against bots tho.
100%, I agree wholeheartedly. I wasn't attempting to prop this up above them, it all started as a movie style commando build, and I was shocked at how decent it was so I made the vid. Flame is definitely king now that DoT has been fixed, I agree
@@DreadCaptainJames Wow didn't expect you'd agree. But at the end of the day fun>meta. Made a Juggernaut build for the bots with the Heavy machine gun tho. Heavy armor from the democratic detonation warbond for explosion resist (and more importantly style), ballistic shield, Pummeler or Defender smg, grenade pistol, stun grenades. Feels awesome, it's a little bit of a gimmick build tho. But worth a try. You're an awesome guy, I can see it in the comments :)
@JoeyJoestar99 I love this, I'll definitely give it a shot! Big agree on fun>meta as well. Hey, I appreciate you taking the time to explain what you're talking about, it means a lot!
I don't think he meant this to be a meta/efficient/whatever build. This is a theme build and a hell of a fun one that just shakes things up for the player by leveraging everything the new warbond has to offer. I've been having so much fun with the HMG + peak physique. I think its easy to get really bored in this game once youve maxed everything out and done your time playing the "classics".
@@r0rch4kbh0dlz8 Nah you're right. Might be a little mad that some weapons are underperforming but it's more about fun. Even if you can't pull difficulty 9 with this, just go 8 or 7 who cares really.
bro u got hella unlucky or i just got so lucky cus the very first time i warp to a pirate system there is a battle and the pirate frieghter is S class. no idea how lucky i am
@horrorchef11 it's technically a 5% chance in a pirate system, but that's 5% each time you roll it, so it technically has the possibility to be both of these scenarios could be possible. More likely to take a while, but first time is sick! I've had it happen before as well, and it's nuts
I am running something like this on bugs too just for the croud I personally do prefer air bomb or gatling orbitals... and 500kg for the bile titans case. even sometimes 500 and railgun orbital but you gonna have problems with the croud if there are bile spewers as they are not allowing you to shoot constantly and also with hmg build I am not sure that adjudicator is neccessary. you are actually dealing good with armored ones so you need something accurate and probably light pen. persnaly I do prefer tenderizer. (breaker incidiery is not an option because despite its awesome - its ruining the mood of the build and visual effects with brutal shootout) imo mid pen primary works better with basically the same build by stalwart instead of hmg. still adjudicater doesn't really works good so crossobow or eruptor feels good as are taking down bile spewers by 2 shots. overal hmg build is better as hmg could basically handle everything now and dealing with a green bile spewers is a nightmare if your support weapon is ineffective against them and you dont have aoe stratgems to quickly destroy the large group
I like the thematic build geared for team play with roles. My usual casual gaming group all have their own preferences. Few like to wipe smaller enemies while I enjoy having more of a kill the bigger ones type of build. I just hope that at some point they give HMG more clipsize or a backpack option with lot of ammo and some balancing downside. So that is a follow and I need to check your other videos.
This looks fun for the new marsh planet biome! I'm a fan of the "White Knight" build: White Wolf armor + Champion of the People helmet. Crossbow (because medieval), Spear (medieval in name I guess), napalm (Greek fire maybe?), and a couple of crowd clearing options that can vary
That's RNG not being in your favor. I've been there. Complete reload of the game might help, especially if you're only seeing a C class. Also, changing systems might be a good plan and finding another one.
I noticed you like the adjudicator, im a big lover of the liberator penetrator because i can one mag two brood commander heads off and one mag green mortar bugs heads and i get ten magazines its very effective since its in full auto i recommend giving it another shot since its ten mags and im pretty accurate with it and keep it sighted in at 75 meters 💥
So canonically, Han is "(4) force-sensitive", by reference of the original CCG. While Luke was force rating 6-8 (depending on the card), Han's cards were force lvl 4.
Not entirely sure. I've polled a lot of people and some report the sway being not affected but melee being buffed, and others vice versa with a lot saying it works just fine. So, bottom line for me at least, until I see a communication from Arrowhead saying it's messed up, then I have to consider it to be a big for some but not all
@@DreadCaptainJames the melee people confirm works, but the weapon part is the one unknown. AH has a lot of bugs lately, some kinda game breaking like spear crashes (AFAIK not mentioned, but in the group im in has confirmd and the spear users in the runs I am in people kept dc'ing, so not all fixes maybe posted by AH) I think someone posted a vid in some groups about the weap sway Some also may just do it for the swag look or the placebo effect xD
@panzershuriken6590 fair enough, also could be intermittent. To your point, I tested the Spear problem out myself and had no crashes whatsoever over multiple maps, even on the problem planet, so who knows.
See, that tracks with the mixed bag of results we're getting. Thanks for the input. For the time being, I think we need to just assume that SOMETHING is wrong and we keep a weather eye out for a fix in the patch notes
Something i picked up somewhere about biodomes... plant the plants on the planet surface in a very tight density by going into the free camera placement mode and zooming into the ground as far as possible. Then place the dome on top of the plants. When they grow up and are ready to pick, you can use the harvest all in the biodome to harvest all of the plants that stick through the bottom of the biodome towards the center of the dome. I have domes where i can single click harvet 1000s of the plant resource. I think the planet has to have the correct environment to grow the plant since they are not planted inside, but i have never tested it. And it has to be powered to do the harvest, but only building a couple of domes per resource on an appropriate planet versus dozens and faster harvest. It's a huge win to me.
That's really cool, I had no idea that could work, but it makes sense. I've used glitch building to do something similar. I shrunk down a bio dome, and glitched hundreds of plants around where the dome is. Even when shrunken, it still occupies the same area when you hit harvest all, so it's a similar idea. Cool plan, I'll have to try that because it's cool to use the right planet type to actually grow these plants!
@@DreadCaptainJames yeah it seems that it checks a cylinder and harvests in that volume. Maybe you could also add dirt back into that volume and plant even more? Testing to be had there is
Jeeze, lot of people here missing the point of specialization in a coop game around here. Especially now that they’ve tuned bugs towards swarms over titan spam, chaff-clearing builds and teamwork are even more necessary. For every time I see an incendiary breaker user of skill, I see 4 that have no idea how to actually clear chaff with it. Similar with the cluster bomb and napalm, lots of folks don’t know what they’re doing out here.
Yeah, been surprised at the responses to this. Everyone is looking for the new meta or the one man army, but I thought I was pretty clear that this was more of a specialist
yeah for 7 not 9, i was just playing on the new jungle planet and we got swarmed by 7 chargers and a titan, the hell this gonna do against that? edit: dont give me the "its good for chaff thing", the eagle cluster stratagem negates this whole build, but this might be a better automaton build.
Aye I legit said this isn't a charger killer, that would be a flame/stun build. If you don't have one on your squad, that's not the point here. Also, nowhere did this get put up as a one man army or solo build, so not sure why the animosity?
So, I did mention that it's a great addition to a team for crowd control...and that's the role that's being shown here. Spelled that out a lot actually, not sure why it would be confusing in a squad-based game
@@michaelcharles7757 Solo dives can be a trip especially with the solo spawn mechanic being buffed against us. Stealth and sentries for solos has been good for me honestly, but some things seem like they just don't work well. The tower defense missions past 7 solo are a bit nuts.
If you’re not building around the rest of your squad then what are you even doing? I often take a role that’s made for dealing with mobs, especially after the most recent patch with the increased mobs and decreased heavies. Pack a 500kg and you can easily deal with chargers and BT’s if you know what you’re doing.
Yeah, and I also noticed but forgot to mention in the video that if you concentrate fire on their legs, it will actually break the armor and kill them.
I'm normally against doing this (dosen't dislike people who do, just dosen't normally do it myself), but after doing a "refurbished goods" mission and ONE OF MY LEGENDARY WEAPONS got taken in it, and I only found out 10 auto-saves later (if I had loaded the latest save that still had it, it would've cost me 4 hours, and almost 6 levels), I said "THIS IS BS, i'm remaking it". I HAD 5 normal versions of the weapon he wanted me to get, AND an advanced legendary version that I had been using for DAYS, so F*CK achivements, I WANT MY GUN BACK.
You got a Sub and a like from me dude. That was an excellent video. I'll go ahead and watch your other videos and see what else i can learn. Thanks for an excellent video 👍
