Now don't get twisted, this mod is absolutely beautiful and very visually pleasing to the eyes, but holy hell would she be a nightmare to fight. Like there was barely if any window to attack or retaliate AT ALL. I'm someone who loves attempting very very challenging things, but this I could never try

I’ve been creating a character who is directly inspired by Malenia but instead of the rot goddess she’s a golden order’s fighter. She’s fighting Malenia’s style and fights with the same blade in gold. This video is a godsend 💛

We need Ongbal to deal with this version of hers. I want to see her struggle against the true Elden Lord.

This is probably the most insaine mod I have ever seen for malenia. I don’t even think let me solo her would be able to beat this. If anything that should be like the last fight he ever does against malenia. With all the scarlet rot in her second phase and since there is barely any way to doge it this fight seems impossible. Edit ( and the fact that you litteraly had to turn on infinate hp and turn off the hitboxes just proves my point even more. So great mod but impossible. )

This is possibly one of the hardest fights I’ve ever tried in gaming modded or not and dayum my experience with her has been pretty much an insane blast. Props to the mod creator for the modded bossfight.

Id honestly love to see godfrey get a mod like this i feel like he deserves a buff of some kind.

I wanna see someone make more mods like this, mods that do stuff outside of the box, like maybe the other demigods can use their rune for power, Morgott's omen blood covers the area and it's more dangerous (or maybe Godrick with two dragon heads for arms)

I love the "Rot-shadows" it makes me think that you are having hallucinations because the rot affects your mind as well.

LOOKS cool, but the playable aspect looks extremely boring, pure spam, vampirism, animation cancel, absurd damage, ridiculus aoe ranges and scarlet root in more than half of the arena, pff

If Malenia didn’t heal, then she’d probably be one of my top five favorite bosses in Elden Ring.

I’m gonna go ahead and assume that the mod she’s going to be in has some truly off the wall stuff otherwise she’s severely overtuned. A true challenge for the true elite either way.

I like this, if this was in the original game, I doubt anyone would beat her, and she would be proven as One of fromsoft strongest and hardest Boss period. I like the way she hops while during waterfowl dance cute. I enjoy she slightly bows to you when she kills you, remind me of Sir Alonne.

These new attacks of malenia are very well made and beautiful but also terrifying...

She should do less damage to make the fight enjoyable/ playble

Fun fact: it is heavily speculated that Malenia's boss design was originally intended to be in Sekiro as an entirely different character who is mentioned in the game's story multiple times as Lady Tomoe. Malenia's fluid sweeping movements and constant flurries of relentless attacks are VERY similar to the movesets of the enemies we encounter in the Fountainhead Palace, who we learn are connected to Lady Tomoe - it is likely that she was meant to be the end boss for that area instead of the Divine Dragon. Also, Malenia's original "waterfowl dance" as showcased in this mod (which was later redesigned before Elden Ring's release) is almost identical to the descriptions of Lady Tomoe's fighting style, which was described as being dance-like and mesmerizing. Judging how difficult it looks to consistently dodge Malenia's oppressive offense in this mod without getting roll-caught, and how Sekiro's combat mechanics are based on parrying instead of dodging, I'd say Lady Tomoe's fight in Sekiro would have looked something like this.

I love when they go insane with the boss moveset, but you definetely need deflecting to actually do something to them or you will be rolling all the time without actually doing nothing xDD Not only that, but something similar to Mikiri counter, or jumping over bosses like in Sekiro needed to be in the base game of Elden Ring, imo!

Idk man, while I do appreciate the mod for being crazy I think that the modder needed to add some down time to Malenia or something, she attacks so much it's ridiculous. And those phase two flowers linger a bit too much on top of them adding rot mist, like, I get it, it's supposed to be hard but c'mon man when do we get to attack? 😢

Yeah....now I finally understand Radahn....Tbh you absolutely can´t beat this on a vanilla version. It IS possible with convergence tho bc you have a talisman that 100% negates Scarlett Rot. But without that you can´t dodge her attacks, deal with that continous damage you get and the damage over time from Scarlett Rot....This is indeed TRUE HORROR.....Nice mod!!!! It really shows Malenia´s magnificent power!!
