• Liver problem
• Lack of bile
• Estrogen spike
2. Receding hairline-An androgen problem

• High levels of insulin
• High levels of cortisol
• IGF
3. Patches (alopecia)-An autoimmune problem

Just for the people who reads the comment. Quit Sugar! I went from having very frizzy hair, almost afro after shower, it was very dry and my hair looked worse the longer it got. Then i quit sugar.. and just one of the many, many positives i noticed was a much better hair. Now its not frizzy at all, its not messy, it doesnt stand in 180 directions, its like i take conditioner, the best hair care products everyday without doing anything.

I see a lot of comments that bashed Dr. Berg for saying certain things about certain diets. He didn't say that everyone who did high protein or everyone that became vegetarian would lose their hair. He mentioned that people with certain body types and different cases that he's come across couldn't handle a particular diet course that they'd chosen. He says no diet is one size fits all meaning some people do better with high protein, so do better without animal products, etc. Why are individuals always so ready to jump down a person's throat when they hear something that clearly doesn't apply to them? We have two ears and one mouth. We are to listen twice as much as we speak. It's the course of wisdom. Goodness gracious.

The state of my hair has become a reliable tell for whether I'm in a bad relationship. Every time I've been in a stressful relationship my hair has started thinning and falling out. When I'm single and no longer have that stress, my hair begins to grow back and becomes thicker. I also end up with new grey streaks in my hair every time I'm in a stressful relationship. I'm committed to staying single for a year right now and my hair has become full and lustrous lol.

2 years ago a SEVERE anxiety disorder came out of nowhere (well, looking back I see exactly how it happened but at the time it seemed out of the blue). I am currently 39 years old and until that point, my hairline was unchanged. Now, I have lost about an inch on the hairline. Thankfully, I have solved my anxiety (I was on medication but it did not help and made me a zombie) through a period of INTENSE personal growth...I believe I have undergone an 'ego death'. So, cortisol WILL decimate your hairline! I am taking some supplements, working out and trying to be mentally peaceful and my hair is already feeling thicker, hopefully I will grow back at least some of what was lost.

Or you could try massaging your scalp and get the blood and oxygen back to the roots. I cleared a worsening scalp psoriasis I had since I was like 17 and I suspect I wouldn't have lost all my hair if I knew what to do. Look at how tight some scalps are. Of course the hair is dying and falling out. It took months of massaging my scalp for hours a day to clear it up and I'm convinced I wouldn't have lost my hair if I had just known to kneed my scalp back to life.

Look Into Iodine! I use ( J.Crow's). As soon as started using it, my hair stopped falling out in chunks. Granted by the time I found out the problem my hair is really thin, but at least it stopped falling out every time I showed, brushed, or put my hands though my hair. Come to find out lots of people or Iodine defecent. I can't promise it will work for everyone, but that was what my body was missing. I honesty think it started when I did a detox. I think I literally detoxed all my reserves and thats when I really started noticing the problems, and never replenished myself. Find what your missing and fix yourelf. Good luck!

It helps the body cleans out the toxins. You can add the vinger to taste. Then I eventually raised it to 10 drops a day. But I'm now using 5% solution. Also if you want add a Selenium tablet. @Food4thought1234
@Food4thought1234 5 лет назад
@@doulidle3717 They recommend starting off with small doses because most people feel sick because of the detoxification, but you can add more if you like. I personally found that taking it right before bed was the easiest. (because I'm lazy) I started just taking it with a meal, then slowly just took it on an empty stomach. Or if you pee a lot when sleeping just do it in the morning. I'm sure it's better by itself, but it's up you. I want to say that after a month or less I noticed a difference. I don't really remember honestly. I remember I did notice a difference pretty quickly. I've been taking it so long that I figured I was good, so I stopped for about a week or two and I started noticing hair falling out again. So now I take it every other day/every day. I don't think there is regrowth, but my hair has more volume and just looks better. it's not limp and dead and falling out in my hands like before. (but it could be because of the new shampoo) Haha But you have to remember everyone is different. My issue may have be different from yours. I've had stomach issues for a long time. So I'm thinking my body was low on minerals and not absorbing them right. I think this helped correct my issue. Also I'm assuming that it took years for my body to get this way, so it might take just as long to fix itself. Now it's just habit for the most part and I don't think about it. But I didn't even know so many people were iodine deficient. Also a side note I just started with Blackstrap Molasses and the OMAD. I saw this on Dr. Berg other videos. And I fell freaking awesome and lost 20 pounds. But I'm writing too much. Just start off small. Do the Iodine and apple cider vinegar and see if you notice a difference. I really hope it works for you too. I'm not stressed about my hair anymore. I'm just glad it's not falling out anymore. (Last reminder) Don't be worried if you do see some hair fall out. It is normal anyway, and they say sometimes it falls out more before it stops. But don't loose heart. If you remember let me know if it worked for you.

Admiral Ackbar Meats( animal products) have complete proteins. vegetables grains and legumes all have proteins but dont contain all 9 essential amino acids to make a complete protein. so essentially MEAT (animal products) are the only way to get a complete protein unless you are mixing things like grains and legumes. eating one food group alone wont give you the complete protein. it is NOT a lie form the meat industry

if your not consuming grains along with your plant based protein youre not consuming a compolete protein. it is protein in a sense but not in the way meat or animal products can provide. You need a balanced diet grain legumes and vegetables to create your complete protein. unlike meat eaters who can achieve the same goal by just eating meat.

@Admiral Ackbar Lol, "Kale and spinach have more protein then meat" :DD Kale has 4g of protein per 100g and spinach has 3 grams! Meat has 20g/100g. I'd rather eat my 150g steak for 30g of protein than 750g of kale or 1000g of spinach! And that's just for ONE meal!! :D Imagine eating 3 kilos of spinach everyday just to get the bare minimum of daily proteins. Humans are not gorillas.

The doctors told me to take a potasiam supplement. But then, I relished that potasiam deficiency would not cause hair loss. Then I increased omaga 3and I found a big difference of my hair. But I got deep, deep sleep the next night because of high potasiam.

I've noticed a lot of guys who are into lifting weights begin losing their hair very early (early to mid twenties). I mean guys who are not taking drugs but just working out really hard. Weight training intensely is very stressful. Putting 600 lbs on your back and trying to squat down and up with it is kind of terrifying even if you can do it. The extremely high protein diets these kids are typically on might not be the best either. Hmm. Curious.

I am going to pay my doctor a visit and insets on getting my thyroids or hormone levels checked and also I will stay away from all the bad stuff you mentioned as much as I can possible. Dr. Berg, thank you for the excellent information in all of your videos. Could you please make a video on alopecia universalis? My 22 year old daughter lost all her scalp and body hair due to extreme stress, bad nutrition, digestive problems and hpv vaccination. We have an opinion on the possible causes, but we haven't been able to find the proper therapeutic doses of vitamins and nutrition to bring her hair back. None of the many doctors that treated her had any idea about nutrition or supplements. Do you think alopecia can be reversed? Thank you...

My bet is if you are naturally high in androgen then you wont be able to do much. It's worth a shot to give his diet advice a try though to try to slow the process down. Cut the carbs after 5pm and attempt to lower stress. Get 7 to 8 hours of sleep without fail. I have taken exogenous growth hormone and it raised my IGF 1 levels. I'm not really androgenic so it didnt affect my hair at all. My cortisol levels remain very low for some reason and I intermittent fast to keep insulin low. At 36 I have a full head of thick hair and no noticeable grey.

There is a human mechanism that dictates that hair do not grow in certain part of the body. Like, in the middle of your forehead, bottom of your feet , on your palms.... So, when that command from the central conductor of the human body orchestra changes so that your hair thins out, the issue at hand is more central to that command and not so much chemistry on the outside and diet..... I know people who live out on the streets, the homeless, who are obviously not very well nourished and these men have a full head of hair and beard....

WOMEN:: Thyroid issues Vege diet can also cause it (loss of protein) Liver issues, lack of Bile ( gall bladder removed), constipation or bloating Estr can block thyroid, pregnancy, soy diet MEN 1. Excess Insulin ( carbs, sugar) converts Estr into Androgen as in PCOS hence Metformin 2. Excess stress ( cortisol) or grief 3. Excess IGF-1 ( soy will spike IGF-1 leading to high androgen etc) Patch baldness ( Alopecia) - stressed related event causng trauma event

Grace Kelly mine too! Im not sure if he was a necessarily a narcissist, some traits, but just an overall very toxic relationship. Got my blood checked multiple times and I’m not deficit in anything, my blood sugar/pressure is fine, and so is my thyroid. At this point i believe it has to by hormones. (Which they cant check at doctors offices) I’m going to try and see a naturopath and see what they can find, since we haven’t been together for awhile and it still hasn’t gotten too much better and I’m doing everything right as well as diet and supplements go. Tons of veggies , mainly kale and spinach, berries, nuts and seeds, eggs, avocado, salmon here and there, supplementing with saw palmetto, collagen, vitamin b 12, zinc, (they say you can take those 2 even if you’re not deficient) vitamin C. Bah. It’s out of my hands at this point and just need to get down to the root cause. Let me know if anything ends up/ended up helping you ❤️ side note: not sure if you’re on any medication, but so many of them can cause hair loss or effect on the overall hair. I was on adderall when i was in the relationship, and just recently got back on it because it seems to really help my overall mood and focus , which I really could use right now after getting out of that. Although, I was on it for years and never did my hair get that significantly bad until our relationship. It was always pretty fine and thin, so it could be a combo of both. But from what I’ve read, it doesn’t seem to be one of the main drugs that causes hair loss, and if it did, it’s indirect, since it can potentially raise cortisol and stress hormones, as well as suppress hunger, so therefor not getting enough nutrients. (Not a problem for me 🐽🐷) at least not anymore, since I really got my diet in check these past 2 years in hopes it would help my hair. Just have to stay positive and keep searching to find answers!

Susannah Walsh thank you for your reply. I’m not on medication but have just started taking iron supplements again 🙄. I go from aneamia to low iron stores. The tablets are not getting to the underlying cause. Doc said that could have an effect on your hair but I think you said your bloods were fine. Pregnancy doesn’t help although my youngest is four now and my hair was fine. If you find anything let me know and likewise (two heads are sometimes better than one) good luck and take it easy after living in a toxic situation it can cause fatigue x

Grace Kelly no problem! It was nice being able to relate to someone who’s hair got thin/thinner as well in a toxic relationship. I felt crazy and so alone in my issue, and of course I never dared tell him, I just covered it up with extensions. It was actually so bad at one point that I eventually got a topper (that I hated), he didn’t even notice actually, thank god. It’s not nearly as bad as before, but still pretty bad nonetheless. And I actually just decided to stop taking the adderall. Too many stories on the internet and from friends of it thinning out there hair, I think just being in that relationship was the cherry on top for my hair health unfortunately and i never started with a super thick head of hair to begin with. Just normal fine hair. Crossing my fingers it gets better with time and patience and hoping the same for you as well ❤️
