that is how much he kept kayfabe alive for all of his feuds and matchups even during the nerd culture and social media bubble till the time he made his last entrance in WWE and officially announce his retirement... he knows how to protect his own character backstage, out of ring and in-ring which many people always tend to struggle today and he has been staying in-character for the past 3 decades of his life... thank you Mark fka The Undertaker

My friend saw Undertaker in public back in the 90's and he said he was real weird when he tried to talk to him. I guess now we know that he was in character 😆

23:00 a lot of guys have a hard time not living their gimmick . But after spending 300 plus days on the road for countless years how could you even blame them ? scott hall even said he felt safer in the ring.If only we knew then what we knew now … a lot of guys would still be here .

I was leaving Saskatchewan Place here in Saskatoon, Undertaker was putting his gear in the trunk of the Limo he was in. I was in the lot later crossing to my car, and The Limo was coming. I just gave Taker a Thumbs Up and got one back.

Undertaker is my goat. the fact he was still having some of his greatest matches past his prime, that's the standard for me when I look at wrestlers today and maybe that's a unrealistic expectation 😂

It'll definitely happen, WWE Books is now a thing and Vince definitely knows that when this book comes out it will break bestseller records all over the world. Coz of that tho, and also the sheer amount of history Taker has... I'd safely say it would be multiple books, similar to Mick Foley and how one book just was not enough to cover it all. WWE will want to take their time getting it written and if Taker actually wants to write it himself for real, he'll need time.

Spending all those years being the Undertaker, it explains why in his earlier interviews he would be like "you know", a lot ripped him for this, watch this and it is very understandable. Can you imagine if Undertaker had a podcast or RU-vid channel? I haven’t watched wrestling since the attitude era. But after hearing about his HOF induction along with these interviews are fascinating to watch. Mark pretty much gave up his life playing this character for us, and we’re all discovering Mark Calaway I’m the past year.

For so long I was the class clown and I never really knew who I was. I still am trying to figure that out. But you bringing that up and Taker also talking about it... it helped me feel a lot better. I love the fact that out of all places he could have done the webcam interview from, the Undertaker chose the kitchen 🤣 Also, incredible down-to-earth guy, way friendlier than I ever expected.
