At the age of 37 the symptoms started... By late 38 I got really scared because of memory loss and having so many problems at work for that... Started to investigate through blood tests and docs. I had to research by myself about the thyroid because docs only checked tsh, which is in range. Paid a private thyroid full check with blood test and scan and found out it is inflamed and I have high thyroid antibodies. Still doc feedback was: it's all OK. It's normal. Check tsh twice a year and good life, bye. This is how the scientific world treat women. Shame on them.

This is the most thorough explanation of this subject I have ever seen. So many years of trying to get doctors to understand what I was going through, but no help really came about it...20yrs later I am only tapping the ice berg of my health issues. I wish he was my dr. Thyroid problem diagnosed in '78. I was 14. Thyroid removed, I had horrid migraines, EBS, and now Addison's Disease. At 59 years old, live has been absolutely miserable.

My health insurance company (CIGNA) answered when I asked them about referrals to a FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE DOCTOR they said "THERE IS NO SUCH DISCIPLINE IN MEDICINE".

Sprayed coffee....also destroys the thyroid, the gut, the stomach lining, the hormone adrenal balance, causing also potassium, B1, B12, B3, calcium, bone marrow strength, and collagen deficiencies. Always screws up my thyroid (has cyst and painful textures both sides), and bringing about leaky gut, memory loss, exhaustion, depression, ptsd increased symptoms, ETC.

Amen! So glad to hear this information. Gives me courage to speak up and demand better care where possible. I have not felt good since first diagnosed. Many years. Couldn’t tolerate Synthroid. Not sure that Amour Thyroid really helps,

Thankyou. I appreciate Dr V Pedre your video of expertise. I suffer from hormone thyroid disease which is very challenging, finding the balance in our daily lives, is a case of applying the knowledge out there to support and give hope to this miserable condition.
