His passing really affected me. My little brother who had the same name died 8 months prior. But also, I’ve had the pleasure of chatting with him here and there throughout the years (fan to artist) he was such an incredibly sweet, and humble guy. Just seeing his pictures hits hard. He was so talented and handsome reminds me so much of my son who was also was an upcoming artist by the name of Cooley 03 who also is no longer here, he was murdered by a case of mistaken identity. The saddest part is that B. Smyth passed away on my son's birthday Nov 17th.

B. Smyth was a true visionary. His music was ahead of its time, and he had so much more to give. It's a shame that he was stuck under the control of the record labels for so long. It's even more tragic that he died so young. He had so much more to offer the world. His death is a reminder of the dark side of the music industry. Too often, talented artists are exploited and abused by the labels. I'm glad that his music is still being appreciated by fans today. His legacy will live on. Rest in peace, B. Smyth. Despite his condition his voice was so beautiful. He reminded me of Jewel who also passed away due to a lung condition. yo Jeury thank you for making this, I literally found out this summer while on a morning walk that he died, I immediately posted a video on my IG stories crying to my followers about how hurt I was that he died...like even ow typing this, it still hurts. like yo, I was bumping his music this year like he never died so alll the air was takin out of me...the craziest part is that I was listening to his music on Soundcloud and it was a fan who commented RIP...Im almost a year late but man I really loved his music...I was always waiting for him to chart on Billboard, never knew he was going thru so much BS. He and Mishon should have totally been way bigger, they can actually sing live

Yeah he was in the music industry for 10 years and still didn't really get anywhere. They were jealous of him. I'm sure they probably wanted to sleep with him but when B.Smyth rejected them the industry set out to make his life a living hell. If a Woman doesn't give the industry the cooch then your blackballed, and if a Man don't give up his butthole to the Elites he will be whiteballed.

He was an amazing artist. I use to play all his music and always wonder why I didn’t hear much of him on mainstream and his new albums. He’s the one artist I wanted to see blow up. I’m glad to hear that he was happy for his last moments tho when it came to his art. Rest is paradise 🕊️💪🏼

I’m the same way I can sing beautifully but I don’t like singing in front of others so I never pursued it. I even had offers to sing on cruise ships but I hate crowds. Only close family and friends ever hear me sing. They say it’s a waste of talent but naw the industry is to wicked 😢
I remember when I first watched his song come on 106 & park it hurt me to know he didn’t get the recognition he worked so hard for . I believe he really was a star it hurt to know he left so abruptly like that but I could only imagine the silent battles he endured . Prayers to his family and rip to B. As a B. Smyth fan, a best friend of mine and I peeped like two other songs that were taken from him & wondered why that was always a thing with him. Like he literally made the record and we would hear someone else have the same EXACT beat or song. For instance, his song 365 that I also heard the group History In The Making sing word for word with the same song name.
