I don't do 'major chain' fast food, but every three months I am partial to Pollo Campero and Jollibee. Their chicken sandwiches aren't bad. HOWEVER, it isn't just all the ingredients or sodium content, it's also worth making note of the oil these chains are using. Many of them are using oil with Dimethylpolysiloxane, which is a silicone-based anti-foaming agent used in many foods, including cooking oil. It's commonly used in frying oil to prevent it from bubbling up when frozen ingredients are added. Dimethylpolysiloxane is also used to prevent hot liquids from sticking to equipment. No chemical agent, even if it is considered GRAS, should be added to oil, as our mothers & grandmothers didn't have this insidious chemical in their pantries.

That was the most random list of "unhealthiest" chicken sandwiches. Bottom line is that all breaded-fried chicken sandwiches are higher in fat, calories, sodium (and carbs) than let's say a grilled chicken sandwich wrapped in lettuce, but they could have at least ranked them in some sort of order from bad (probably Chick-Fil-A but mostly because the sauce doesn't come on the sandwich) to WORST (of course it's Cheesecake Factory... I don't think they have any menu items under ~2,000 cal).

That Cheesecake Factory chicken sandwich is a walking heart attack waiting to happen. Ugh. I never go there. It's always way overcrowded, our local place always has terrible service, and it's overpriced. If I want a chicken sandwich, I make my own using Aldi's red bag chicken breasts.

I love chicken sandwiches and pizza and beer. I am still alive. Why not talk about the unhealthy salads and powders supposed healthy people consume. Of how they die at 25 on an early morning jog instead of the rest of us. Unhealthy means nothing.

You should do sub places, like Firehouse Subs. I dont think they have a sub that has less than 3000mg of sodium. lol
