We are in that era where self proclaimed godmen who have neither read the scriptures nor have had any experience roam every nook and corner of India. They just blabber whatever comes to their minds and their blind followers support them and defend them. In this era of blindness, Swami Sarvapriyananda is a gem of light and hope. He has not only read and understood the scriptures in Hinduism, but also has read the works and scriptures from other religions and philosophies as well. The way Swamy explains concepts to his students and disciples makes him the greatest of all teachers. Brahman created Swamy intentionally to become a monk and save us from this samsara. All glories to Swamy Sarvapriyananda 🌼
Truth is vv difficult to digest and practice. Swamiji is most open and the courage needed to become a dedicated monk is is also very very Rare. His love as well. as humour combine the greatest assets.Prostrations in his front.. A great resort for yearning minds..
I ordered and now have that book Nectar Of Supreme Knowledge, I've been studying Vedanta and this book is a wonderful book that can be read again and again. There are 10 chapters of wonderful knowledge and insight.
Thank you Swamijee. Your natural ability to go on so many short and long tangents and still keep coming to the main topic is otherworldly. And all the tangents are amusing and full of knowledge and support the central topic. Your memory for details both subtle and mundane is supernatural. Really blessed to have run into you this lifetime. 🙏
Many pranams to Swami Sarvapriyanandji 🙏 it was such a pleasure & delight to know that our Nana - Professor G R Malkani could draw your attention to his teachings & books. We (my sister & myself) listen to a lot of your talks and are vedantic students. So cant really express our joy when suddenly we heard you taking baba (our nana)'s name. Feeling truly blessed🙏
The beginning of this talk was eye opening. Sometimes I feel like I am spiritual bypassing and trying to leave the world but the world is none other then Brahman. Very profound 🙏Thank You!
Swami ji. You’ve answered a question in this discourse that arose in me many years ago, when I was struck by this thought: all these systems of Vedanta, all this phenomenal world, all this talk of karma and rebirth and progressive purification, the puranas, and so on and so on, which are apparently millennia old, not to mention this ancient 13 odd billion-year-old universe, they all arise only in my consciousness. I myself have no means to assert that they existed independent of me, such assertion is not verifiable by me. Now you’ve told me this is the Drishti Srishti school… that’s a relief, that I’m not off my rocker, this question is addressed by “others”, if any… Still all this, including the phone I’m apparently typing on, exists only within this awareness. So I’m wondering who am I sending this to… 😅
Its not enough to just get a question answered, its imperative to jump into the sadhana and climb the next step. The mind is very tricky and will keep going round in circles avoiding the basic physical effort required to be made to get out of its clutches. The same way as we see how urgent, how important it is to feed the body, its even more urgent and imperative to rise to the next level, wether achieved or not the effort has to be persistent tangible and real, abhyasa, otherwise it will not leave an imprint on the soul and we will lose link in next life, till the present body is alive, this effort has to be there continuously in the background of all other activities to maintain the continuity, otherwise it will sink back and karma will accumulate on the surface and to get out of the karma Bandha will take several births. We must keep the mind turned godwards all the time, literally, otherwise its just another fancy philospohy and death is a reality that can come anytime, anywhere.
Swamiji's lectures are really extraordinary. Swamiji makes the highest Philosophy so easily understandable.... Millions and millions of people all over the world are benefiting from his lectures. Swamiji delivers with so much friendliness. Brings his highest seriousness to our level.
Swamiji accept my humble pranams, I am so blessed to listen your talks regularly, I am understanding most complicated topics on Vedanta very easily by your simple teachings. Thank you Swamiji 🙏
Your talks have been an amazing Grace to my spiritual growth and understanding. I get the presence of the Guru even through this video. Your words and spirit are profound. Thank you 🙏☦️🕉️☸️☯️
Swami always makes me happy. 'Vedanta for Dummies'. I am just back from the Fire Festival on Insein Road here in Yangon. So Swami was live streaming which was perfect. Swami and Bernardo Karstrup and the work of Ian Stephenson help me understand the truth. I practice good works and deeds in my working life. Good path. I am happy
It is always such a joyful experience to listen to Swami ji, even when he is making some deadly points!... his anecdotal abilities from his experience truly add extra light to his talks ,.. much grateful to Swami Sarvapriyananda!
Hats off to this wonderful Swamy who is relessly creating saving content that automaticall assumes the dimension of an over efficiwnt Analytic Engine and keeps one in abaidence..
Very thrilling experience listening to this discourse. So indebted to Swamiji. one side note, Jeev in me felt very proud when Sawmji mentioned about Amalner, Pratap Seth and Professor Malkani. I am from Almner. My father grew up there. I was not aware of this aspect of Amalner. Manish Bhavsar
The most difficult lesson and deepest lesson I have ever heard. I can't deny how enlightening it is. I have to repeat it because it breaks the last hurdles behind which my questions still wanted to be. Thank you so much Swamiji❤🙏
Swami ji is exceptional in driving home the Indian wisdom in a manner most powerful, yet most understandable even to novice, early entrants into this field of study.
Swami🙏, Wish there is an emoji for साष्टांग नमस्कार! Your pravachan, and Q&A are super eloquent and made easy for commoners. Could you list some of the latest commentaries or books in English that we keep at home that may entice the teenagers of these days?
Swamiji, U are right there in front of me like Lord Krishna himself!!!!! Koti Koti Pranamas!!!!! But yet why am I not intelligent enough to grasp this Spritual Knowledge????? But one thing Sure my Heart has immense Faith in Advaita Phylosophy!!!!! Is it ok Swamiji?????? Koti Koti Pranamas!!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
This may be a novice misunderstanding, but if everything is a dream, why does anything matter? In my dreams, it doesn't matter if people are hurt - they're not real. It doesn't matter if people are tortured or children starve. No one's really feeling pain or hunger. And if it's all a dream, why (in other talks) do you suggest things like aceticsim? Brahmin alone exists and presumably doesn't need one of his dream characters to practice asceticism or to do anything. What does struggle, knowledge, maturity, wisdom, etc. mean in a world that is just a dream? Brahmin doesn't need to mature or become wise. Unreal dream characters don't need to grow - to mature or become wise. Thank you for your great talks.
The dream water quenches the dream thirst, the dream food satisfies the dream hunger and the dream slap hurts the dream face, the dream pain is felt within the dream. Within the dream everything works, seems real, but "only on waking up" it is dismissed. So in this level of reality, which is the so called waking reality, someone hits you, it will hurt, it feels real even though it is not real in absolute terms. In this waking world the cause and effect is intact even though unreal. If you perform bad action (although unreal) there will be an effect, you will face the consequence ( although unreal). So if I did an unreal theft, an unreal judge will send me to an unreal prison :). So the attitude for an Advaitin is whatever you do to others, you are doing to yourself. You are verily Brahman the only truth and there is nothing other than Brahman. Treat every person you encounter as God. There are no strangers. All is you. Now advaita does not say that after lot of practice you will become free. Advaita claims you are already free. If freedom is not here and now then it is somewhere else in space and time. If it is somewhere else it is limited and can be destroyed. You are Nitya Mukta ( ever free). You just don't know it. Your distant related uncle has left you a million dollars in will. No one has told you that yet. You are already a millionaire, you just do not know it yet. You are just ignorant of your ever free nature. How will you know? Just by mere knowledge of Self. Someone comes and tells you, hey your uncle has left you million dollars, as simple as that :). It is not that the person gets enlightened, the personality itself is annihilated. Whatever remains is always there.
While you can't prove that the world exists when you're not experience it (even though that seems like common sense it can't be proven) the real question is - would the universe still exist if NOTHING is experiencing it?
A good authoritative speaker and scholar of Advaita Siddhanta at present time 🙏🙏🙏..... Yes...To understand Advita..A really rational thinking is required..... But I don't understand why Swamiji not quoting Ramana Mahirshi... Here... Maharshi solving some difficult doubts in a simple way🙏🙏..
