I run this loadout with Stasis and it's super good at countering apes and taking 2v1s. I've tanked TWO point blank CQC-12 shotgun blasts while the shield I'd active and didn't die. Instead I destroyed the user's life with Sweet Business. I MAIN this loadout for my Titan. It's so fun and so good at the same time. There are weaknesses to it but it's just so good

the best way to use this is behemoth to stack on a rime overshield and stasis crystal damage resist to truly be a raid boss among kinderguardians Edit: so some people in the replies seem to think it’s ok to optimise a meta loadout (hc shotgun dunes for example) but when someone handicaps themselves by using something that isn’t as good (sweet business icefalls) and then tries to optimise that a little further it’s a bad thing. Bit hypocritical and toxic imo, why hate on the person who puts themselves at a disadvantage just to enjoy a game and then tries to minimise that disadvantage so they don’t get stomped and can enjoy the game

Sweet Business has a body ttk matching 140s. Problem is its loud and hand cannon users peek shoot. Mantles dropped in usability when they removed the negation of precision damage. Which was an amazing yrade off for the restriction of movement.

A good substitute for sweet business with icefall mantle is using Tommy’s matchbook. You can negate the damage dealt to you be pre-overshielding allowing you to hold down the trigger for much longer. Very fun stuff.

I really liked that you played 3 different gamemodes. I mostly play 3v3 and your vids are GREAT, but not always helpful to me as a gamer. So seeing you use it in 3v3 helped me get a better feel for the loadout. Thank-you @SirD

I used this build a lot. Pair it with stasis chains and rimes for even more damage reduction and OS. And the overall nades can give you the cover that you're missing with converting your barricade.

1:09 to answer this question A.) its chaperone so target adjustment and range is literally infinite on the gun, thankfully its getting toned down next season. b.) When spread shotties got nerfed to not map you at 13 meters giving slug ACTUAL viability at their ~12 meter cap

I've been running a version of this for about a week myself. Essentially swapping out bubble for banner shield (personal preference but could change to bubble) and using the Heir Apparent. While you don't get your spinny-to-winny 24/7 like with Sweet Business, you can pop both over shields on at once and essentially have Enter Sandman play wherever you go, it slaps and is so fun to use. Perhaps behemoth would also help? I haven't tried that but feel free to give this version a spin! Pun intended!

This build is much better when you pair it with stasis. Throwing down an ice wall in front of you as you spool up and destroy the crystals while blocking incoming sniper fire is satisfying. The crystals also add to your overshield.

I feel like for that build, if you use bubble, a shotgun should be better to just rush in and shotgun+melee to get an overshield and start spraying Other than that, as everyone is saying, stasis is the "optimal" subclass since you can stack your overshield with the damage resist that Whisper of Chains grants you and maybe Whisper of Rime for that additional overshield everytime you get a stasis shard Also, if you wanna impersonate a sentry gun and just stand still and absolutely demolish everyone, you can always use the Sunwarrior ability from bottom tree sunbreaker to get a 25% dmf buff. You just drop a grenade on the ground, pop the mantle and start spraying. Note that you are susceptible to literally anyone that can hit a tin can with a .50 cal Barrett from 5 meters, so yeah, at least move a bit

A potential better combo would be the titan chestplate that actively reloads auto rifles. It allows you to basically have it fully revved up infinitely now that primary ammo is infinite.

I’ve got a few improvements (this is coming from a person who’s used this exact build since season of the chosen) first, use stasis the damage reduction is crazy, secondly use anti barrier due to it killing Titan shield far faster

Faced that build in elimination... Was quite effective there. But once you do it for a few round the enemy team will know how to counter so, even tho it your fantasy of being heavy from tf2 it gets countered like heavy from tf2.

You could try this armor with the Huckleberry since it fills the mag on kills and has a pretty good time to kill, or possibly even Suros Regime with spinning up.

Use this build with stasis and the damage resist when near a stasis crystal. Throw down your ice wall, pop your mantle over shield and you'be got the unkillable bullet hose you're looking for. You're at like ~400 health lol
