Raam holds a great significance in our culture.... And to know it's meaning in such depths provides the basis for that significance... Your dedication towarda purification of myths and breaking misinterpretations is quite commendable... As always thanks for uploading the 'Doc Film'... Your die hard fan.. UD.. जय श्री राम 🙏
The meaning is not appropriate. There's no grammatical rule in Ashtādhyāyī that can explain this. He's basically saying र+मा is राम, (अ+आ=आ). But the rule can not be applied here. Because there is a consonant in the middle (म्). The word that र and मा will form is रमा (ramā). It means Lakshmi (लक्ष्मी) the goddess of fortune. Rāma means beautiful (Ramaniya). Usually Sanskrit nouns are adjectives/attributes of a person/a thing. So Rāma is also an adjective. What he did is similar to what leftist media does every single day. This is very similar to what British education system did to our traditional knowledges. He created a narrative out of the blue. This is never expected from him. I am totally fed up.
@@yt.tathagatachakrabortythey lack basic understanding of Sanskrit , and follow the habits of their native languages , all Dravidian languages follow this. Actually its not their fault , sanskrit has a special character :(visargh) , which is used after after every noun verb etc. All the languages including English which did not had this special character , they substitute it with 'A' . But what they do not understand is , in Sanskrit putting 'A' at the end of any Noun changes its Gender, putting 'A' in the end makes it feminine gender. So the word is supposed to "Ramah" visargh is sound "ah" and they call it "Rama" which is feminine gender. Just lack of basic Sanskrit knowledge and native language habits. Putting 'A' in the end is only allowed at the time of 'Sandhi' which means when adjoining with another word , like 'Ramayanah' . So the correct pronunciations are Ramam, Ramah, Ram but not Rama thats the word for 'Devi'. There are so many proofs of it from Valmiki Ramayan till now , but they dont want to research it. An Essay could be written on this topic, in fact many have already written.
@@chaldawal mostly correct, but i guess you've missed my point by a bit. Actually the word we get after the sandhi of Ra (र) & Maa (मा) is Ramaa (रमा) not Raama (राम). Raama (राम). The word without हलांत is also, without a doubt, the correct pronounciation of the word and even more close to the root word. But the point is we are getting Ramaa (रमा as in “रमाकंठहारं श्रुतिव्रातसारं जलांतरविहारं धराभारहारं” - Shri Hari Stotram) not Raama (राम as in रामचंद्र) after connecting Ra (र) and Maa (मा).
@@yt.tathagatachakraborty that’s because of English spelling Rama , where we perceive ma with double aa and Ra as single a , the English pronunciation of spelling Ram will be like the computer memory we use 😅 correct English should be Raam , but without visargh that is this : meaning the “ah” or “uh” sound even Hindi version राम is partially correct and रामा or रमा are all incorrect. The absolutely correct pronunciation is Raamah or रामः except only if sandhi is not being done as in राम - आयना: then Raama or रामा is correct
Namaskaram Brother Love & Respect to you for these great works. Bharat needs knowledgeable sons like you.(as well as daughters) Ram naam Satya hai. Har Har Mahadev 🕉️
Please keep on this journey of educating the masses in this manner as we really need this in today's age where our culture, heritage and especially spiritually is at great stake. I pray to sri rama that you may never loose the ideal and continue with this project for years to come. Jay Shri Ram🙏🙏🙏
Thanks a lot brother for educating us with your hard work, research and precious knowledge. We need people like you in every home in Bharat to build back our Glory. 🙏🙏🙏
🕉 सर्वं खल्विदं ब्रह्म 🕉 Chandogya Upanishad 3.14 (‘sarvam khalvidam brahma’ teaches that ‘All this is indeed Brahman’. “Brahman” is a Sanskrit word referring to the TOTALITY of existence. There is nothing but Eternal Being, Consciousness, Bliss!).
Really appreciate your efforts in educating us. So much of our traditional knowledge is lost. It is good to know the reason behind our traditions and rituals.
Thanks for the video brother... Whenever I lesson to Rama name songs my soul gets full and always i tell to my mom that, whenever I say Rama i feel like calling Amma... Rama Rama i used to feel like Amma Amma... . Thanks to you now I know the reason
Jai Shri Ram!!🙏🏻 I’m not a great Rama follower but your explanation of true meaning made me a life time chanter. Thank you and God bless you and your work!!🙏🏻
Thank you a million times for this explanation.Keep going Project Shivoham. Please also have translations in Tamil and in Hindi as well, as this would help reach a wider mass.❤
Thanks for posting this verse. As per Katapayadhi sutra letters can be linked to certain numbers Ra = 2 ( ya- ra M= 5 ( pa- pha ba bha ma) So 2x5 x2x5 x2x5 = 1000 Hence saying the name “Rama” three times is equivalent to the Sahasranama.
@@msriram9884 and that's what the verse roughly translates to. Sahasranāma Tattulyam Rāma Nāma Varānane (Rama Nama is equivalent to chanting Vishnu Sahasranāmam(1000 names of Lord Vishnu)). Thanks for sharing. 🙏
Dhanya ho Prabhu aap. Itni insight Ram naam par dene ke liye laakhon dhanyawaad. I can gauge the amount of research and scripture knowledge required for such analysis on Rama. I regret I have not been taught these scriptures during my childhood. Nevertheless I have started learning Sanskrit and reading Scripture. I hope I would reach such level where I myself be able to analyze such Spiritual knowledge. Thanks for enlightening us.
'Shahasra Sadhubaad'.. 🙏🙏 for your effort.. Yes..Malicious forces are in the identity less.. One among us.. We start educating our next generation as sanaatan dharma is spiritually and intellectually way superior.. Otherwise it would be very difficult for the our eat, drink and be marry generation to accept either
Loved your point of setting narratives - persistent and consistent harping on newly coined terms - "South Asian" instead of Indian - for instance...a surreptitious effort to erase Hindu and Indian... Thanks for your effort to educate us- the new age Hindus/Indians 😊
May Lord Rama give you a very long and healthy life to keep spreading awareness to all...thank you very much..Now that this knowledge is present here on RU-vid we should share to spread awareness ...

Yaska's fundamental notion about language is, that all words can be reduced to their primordial elements which he calls roots. From nigantu and nirukta, almost each syllable has a meaning, like manam tryati iti mantra ( protects the mind)
Sir namaste. we are blessed to hear your Vedios. Really you are explaining in simple and effective manner. We are proud of you because you did so much Hard work for gathering information and giving us useful gnana more over you are telugu speaking person. God bless you with health and happiness. Loka samasta sukeno bavanthu.
Very thankful to learn this or gain such knowledge....Ram naam Satya hai I never even had curiosity to know the meaning until watching your video...and one thing brother you mentioned that Shri means Mata or Laxmi ma or Sita ma then the one that we use before our names Shri to male and Smt to female does it have another meaning or we are using it wrong.....just came to mind😅
Shri we put in front of our names means prosperity or greatness. So, as mentioned in the video, every dhatu or root word has different meanings in different contexts. To further clarify this we use Shrimaan (prosperous male) and shrimati (prosperous female).
I always wanted to know the meaning of Rama and Krisha....through this video u have helped to know the meaning of Rama.....Thank you🙏 similarly make a video for Krishna also.....thank you once again
Woww. I CAN'T THANK U ENOUGH. I JUST SUBSCRIBED IMMEDIATELY . PLS TELL US MORE ABOUT OUR SANATHANA DHARMA, SANKRUTHAM, RAMA, KRSNA, SHIVA . 🌸🌸🌺✨Jai Sri RadhaKrsna🙏🙇♀️ 👣🌸🌺✨
I never knew the deeper meaning of Sri Rama. The image of Sri Rama is what would always come to mind, and hearing his name and seeing his image feels me full of great emotions. I chant the name Ram, and even just after a few times saying his name, I become full of energy. I love Lord Sri Ram ❤
Beautiful ❤ There are so many more spiritual meanings of Bhagwan Ram's name, also mentioned in Upanishads. one of them is Ram=Fire, light and Ma = within me so when we chant "Ram Ram Ram Ram" we are actually calling out the Fire or Light ignited within us, we are trying to connect with that fire. That Fire or light is nothing else but Bhagwan Rama himself. Since according to Sanatan Dharma, God resides within us.
A tight slap to people who call the scriptures and spirituality myth and relate spirituality all with religion. How come this gets so factual and great 🙏👍
please anna, make a video on origin of indian linguistucs, and reasons for existence of diverse scripts and langiages in bharat and their origin as well, as i think it can help us debunk the aryan invasion myth, and aryan-dravidian nonsense. please do consider making a detailed video on this topic, we shall be enlightened.🙏
