Thank you, Sadhguru. I drive a school bus in the United States. 95% of my elementary students are from India. They are excited about celebrating Diwali. One Mother gifted me with Diwali food. I am trying to understand this festival. Thank you.
Yes most of our religions are rooted in scientific reasons .Same with diwali ,as because of planetary situation we are getting less sunlight .So not to feel low ,we all lightened the house ,and music rich food helps us to be alive and lightened .🙏
There is no purpose business here. It's just that the genuine Sanatana Dharma itself is 100% scientific. always remember 'dharma' the word doesn't mean belief, it means law, existential law.
Sadguru is spiritual person, when he speaks, his words makes lots of sense. Diwali is also celebrated in india because rama also came back to Ayodhya on that day too.
Wow...such a good information about the Deepawali after so many years that I was living next to Indian society and assumed it just a light festival. Thank you Sadhguru!
Phenomenal. This is like filling the gap between the tradition we follow and what is it's actual significance. Really greatful to have this information.
Thank you Sadhguru for this information, I leave in USA and your education and wisdom has a very big impact on my every day life. I LOVE INDIAN culture and I like to listen to you all the time. Love and Light , Mariana Schwartz
@Krishna Patel Relax. Taking care of oneself as a person is so difficult, imagine doing well (and improving) as a nation with 1.3+ billion people. Challenges exist for every person & nation, at all times.
The name Dhanavantri fascinates me since I registered this word 5 years back 🙏. Bow to Bhagwan Dhanavantri ! Pranaam Sadhguru ji. Thank you for telling us amazing stories. ❤️
"Happy ✨ Sadhguru The Secrets of Diwali🙏"Lots of light and love to everyone. May the blessings of the Universe come to you 🙏💙🙋🏼♀️ what a wonderful feeling 🙏😍 from Jupiter east coast of Florida USA we loved ALL of YOU
Thank you Sadhguru 🙏 It’d be wonderful to see the 28 geometric shapes and gain insights into how they pull certain types of energies. Indian culture has so much depth, it needs to be protected and not get taken over by noisy yet dull external cultures.
I feel that... Imagining how many times he has sighed to himself 😂 like "wait should I revise what I said for the crowd"... hmmmmmmm. Don't want to overstep.
4:15 Please make a video on how one should do day to day activities in winters. Please I have experienced this i become very lazy in winters how to sort this out
Dhana Triyodashi is 13th day of 2nd half (krishna paksha) of Aswayuja month not Karthika month.. Karthika Masam is very important for Lord Shiva devotees. How come Sadhguru not sure about this ??
I’m not used to celebrate deepavali like every one, but from this year itself will do ! I didn’t knew abt the science behind this! But I felt a slowdown or depressed mind a couple of days! Will overcome this! 😇
Wonderful narration of the story as always in simple words, nice. let's rejoice in the celebration. The remembrance of Lord Ram return to his kingdom after exile of 14 years. Let's celebrate the festival of bright colorful lights Let victory of light be over darkness and knowledge over ignorance, in all our homes and the goddess of wealth shower her blessings on all of us
Being a north indian, I agree that we should not cut the last syllable of all the traditional words. We must go back to our roots and get rid of all the distortions of words and traditions.
The reason for the change of pronunciation in Hindi is the rule of the Muslims in north India! It is called Deepawali in Sanskrit & South Indian languages Incorrect pronunciation of Sanskrit words by Hindi speakers राम (Raama) राम् (Raam) भारत (Bhaarata) भारत् (bhaarat) राजस्थान (Rajasthana) राजस्थान् (Rajasthan) शिव (Shiva) शिव् (Shiv) दीपावळी (Deepawali) दिवाली (dewali)
@@annantporwal4970 it was ram after all. It's only South indian out extra A at the end of almost every name or word. Even many sanskrit word don't use that aaa like south indian languages does.

@@hiteshgujarathi4636 Please learn at least basic sanskrit before you speculate more. राम (Raama) is the sanskrit word. राम् (Raam) is the hindi word. Similarly, Deepavali is sanskrit, diwali is hindi. Deepam + Aavali = Deepavali, meaning array of lights. The purity of sanskrit is unfortunately maintained only in North Karnataka and South Maharastra anymore, also in parts of Andhra and Kerala. Hindi, which is a combination of prakrit and urdu cuts off the 'a' inflection of sanskrit which occurs at the end of most sanskrit words. In Tamilnadu and Kerala, Raama is called Raaman. In reality, the bottom two states add 'n' inflection and the north cuts off 'a' inflection. In sanskrit classes, I have often found that the people who struggle the most to pronounce sanskrit correctly are the hindi speaking and the tamil speaking population.
In Jainism too it's about awakening our inner self to reduce karmic accumulation. Karma and karmic memory is very crucial and shredding it to our path to moksha is very important.
During this deepawali, one thought came to me,we need light the lamps during the festival, but due to the wind, rain lamp will not stay even for a few minutes.during olden days there may not be the weather like as now we have,
