Because tiered obbies are scattered across roblox like an egg hunt, and doesn't have an official community or game like JTOH they're not really known well

Anything above tier 16 is so difficult, even making one is a challenge. Let alone tier 19+ I have a ton of respect for the people that can do anything above 15. My peak currently is about tier 11.

I've been in the tiered obby community for a bit and i recently beat my first tier 15! Tiered obbies are known for have very inconsistent difficulties so i really dont recommend comparing them to jtoh difficulties... (i get it if you're just comparing the difficulties to appeal to more people tho)

hi! tier 17 obbyist here. sweet video, just a few things i wanna say. 1. converting tiered obbies to towers is unreliable. this has been debated a lot, but from my perspective i think its not feasible. for example, my hardest is frostbite. on your conversion chart its a high-peak horrific. however, my hardest tower is somewhere around high cata (unnerfed todie). i can also stomp tier 16s very quickly, whereas catas, even lower-end ones, give me a lot of trouble (1-3 hours on low 16s, double digits on catas). yes, you can argue that this is based on skillsets, but that still makes comparing the two infeasible. and you can also say that its only comparing the raw difficulty, but this still doesnt make ranking the two different types of obbies as a whole not useful. i feel like this can be compared to the demonlist ranking codependence. you can kinda rank it? but at the end of the day its basically an entirely different game. 2. shuggy, while there is no definitive proof (iirc) that he is unlegit, its pretty obvious. can you imagine if a random player verified tidal wave back when bloodlust was top 1? no, because its not even close to possible. and he constantly pumps out tier 18s completions, which is self explanatory. not possible. additionally, another hacker who went by marcusterry was also crushing top 1s in this same way. nobody really knew until he himself came out and admitted it. there was only speculation like there is on shuggy right now. i believe that he has some kind of revolutionary method of cheating, or maybe its something simple like spaceuk's method.

this is actually very pleasant to watch as a long time watcher and observer of the obby community and seeing it grow. although a bit inaccurate with the comparison of difficulties to jtoh (I am sure most people who's more experienced already has shed light to explaining why) it's mostly really good as a introduction to what tier obbies are!!

i think theres another tier 23 or 24 beside umhullt and the trusses, its Void star:DEATH which its a pretty cool obby that split into each era ( theres 8 of them ). The hardest era is tier 24

First this guy beat a tier 20 which is not possible and the gap between him and any other obbysist is alot thats like tidal wave to aeternus hard Mit is dumb hard to do eveb on baseline 20 its basically humanly impossible people are struggling on btb after months while he beats it like its just another day yes i know it took "350 hours" but still. Second every tower he has beaten was on his place which dosent make it legit. Totrp: why would you even do the unnerfed not like its harder might as well beat it in jtoh if its fun. tiered obbies are TRASH most of the time because the gameplay just kinda sucks, for me its jank that makes them so bad. my hardest is a tier 14, grinding devoid rn LMAO

- the hardest obby beaten is a low tier 18 (back there benjamin) - client objects are called client objects because the scripts inside them are run on the client side (a client sided button being pressed by 1 player will only look pressed for that person only, not everyone in the server) - several jumps on umhult von leiden have actually been done - the 4.8 at 4:26 seems like a typo ? - 5:51 isnt very true - 7:18 you forgot to change the name and info - 7:31 higher tier doesn't necessarily imply "jankier" - 8:19 someone named dego1d (olman was like the 2nd or 3rd victor) - comatose wasn't the first tier 16, by the time it wasn't done it wasn't MASSIVE or anything (it was around top 4 or 5 when first beaten) because of an obby called "shinku no naraku," the first tier 16 done which is still considered to be on the harder spectrum of tier 16s (verified by kaan2005) -9:46 cobalt paradox is like a baseline tier 16 alongside comatose - 10:38 mint skies is a tier 16 - would have been a good idea to show off tower of glory, the first(i think?) tier 15 as well as honor, the first tier 17 beaten - 11:18 purist hell is tier 18 (low or mid 18 probably) - the unbuffed ikea tower that you're probably showing here is baseline unreal. there's also ~6 victors - 11:55 i have no idea where you got this but totrp has A LOT of victors now. its a mid horrific too - 12:06 btw you're supposed to do a crazy rng fling using the tiny thin part to your left - 12:40 sharp mint is #2 - 13:37 sth is maybe like mid 18 tops also the video failing the last jump is fake also an alljump run is pretty easy, maybe equivalent to beating a tier 14 - no one knows what tier misplaced in time and drifting time misplaced are. but they are probably a tier 20 - i would just put any obbies that are above nil to just be outside of the range in the difficulty chart rather than using silly difficulties like "WHY" or "error" - 15:27 said this earlier in here but like 6 jumps have been done - the trusses is not finished. no one knows how hard it is/will be edit: i think you might have gotten the idea that a tier 20 is the hardest beaten obby from a cheater who pretends to do tier 19-20 obbies like they are nothing. not mention the name to avoid giving attention

I’m barely a Tier 15 mobile obbyist even during my prime, now more of an obby builder (on Roblox Studio). Discovering Tiered Obbies genre is the best thing that has happened to me on Roblox. Back then I thought beating a DCO was good enough, I was glad that I was wrong at the time. Because tiered obbies takes obbying to the next level.

i have never played roblox but i found this video very entertaining

one thing about tiered obbies that annoys me is within the earlier tiers, peoples ratings are extremely inconsistent, and will be a good tiers off sometimes depending on what you think, so its hard (for me atleast) to find good gameplay obbies that are pushing my skill level but not too little to be beaten in minutes and not too hard that I repeatedly fail the first couple of jumps, theres so many examples of this. Daydream Valley - Some people say this is a tier 1, while others say its a tier 5 (imo tier 4 or 5, truss wraparounds are generally not an easy thing to do, however there are quite a couple safety nets for certain parts)

I love the concept of obbys tiers of difficulty, the way it's done here is cool, one game that I can think of that uses a difficulty system, is flood escape 2, now everybody who plays that game knows the star system where 1⭐ is easy and 6⭐ is crazy+ but what if I told you the community has made a chart for difficulty, and what if I told you the game owns its own top 115 hardest maps, let me get this out of the way my hardest is a 6.3 (The Real End) which is a bit more than average the hardest maps in the official game is a 6.7⭐ (Desert Ruins) but what if I told you maps can get more difficult, it goes up to 10⭐, but here is the deal the most someone has ever done was a 9⭐ and that was a map called Calamity (not rigor despite what people say) and if you want to know how hard things get let me give you the name of more skilled difficultys 4⭐ is insane, 5⭐ is crazy 6⭐ is crazy+ and finally we get to the difficulty some of the best of the best beat 7⭐, these maps are really brutal and include a lot of effort to beat, but what if I tell you that 8⭐maps exist they are in the Legendary difficulty and the oldest map in the game with this rating. I would tell you about 9⭐ and 10⭐ maps but quite literally there is only 4 9⭐ maps and the 1, 10⭐ map estimated to be 15 min, has not even been beated yet.

For some reason, one day I started thinking about doing all the jumps in DEVOID, which was not a good idea since I had wasted 6 hours of my life doing 2002 jumps and it only took me two days to finish it (btw the I skipped two other jumps because I didn't know how to do them) Fun fact: I found a shortcut on one of the islands at the top of the mountain, so to speak.

hey -- about devoid being tier 20, this is a really big misconception and i'm honestly not sure where it started, maybe you got it from the pczm video? the owner (giotiperi) puts the difficulty at about high tier 16 or low tier 17, and my friend has been grinding it for about 5 months now, with some attempts coming very close to a completion, and he also says its about tier 17. also in the tiered obbies place itself, it is in the tier 17 section .,, also if you wanna know anything else about devoid just let me know :3 edit - some extra things, while it is true that the tier ranges from 7-12 in most parts, it generally gets harder as you go on, and at the big c, the difficulty gets up to around tier 15 but is netted (this may have caused the misconception that it's tier 20 overall)

I'm a really huge fan on tiered obbies and jtoh and have been for 5 years since regionality and Jupiter era of both community's, but I would recommend jjt (jtoh joke towers) if u want something extremely hard or easy.

When I play an obby 10% of the difficulty comes from the obby itself and 90% of the difficulty comes from my hands being so sweaty as if the temperature was 200°C (I’m on mobile so hand sweating is so much worse)

nice video i really love your simple editing style but the problem is that some phrases were not really coherent and i had to watch them 3 times to understand them, probably just me being me :/, and also some pointed out that some of the info were not accurate and misleading which i understand because the obby community has so so much much stuff that seem like a thing but when you start getting really dedicated into obbying and the community you will realize that some of the things that you thought were X werent actually that and instead it was Y which is okay not alot of people are very dedicated into the obbying community and i appreciate that you are giving their hard work some attention so other people can also appreciate what theyve done but you may get stuff wrong tl,dr: nice video
