Really like the 1794 badging, and I'm on the fence about paying $4k for a lift kit and 6k for a TRD upgrade, it does look better but, I am the kind of guy that would be willing to turn my own wrenches but I have not lifted my own truck, so....
Was yours a hybrid? Not that it should be close to or above $70k anyways for any of their trims, but wondering where you got that deal as I actually might consider one if it were priced more competitively like that
Conicelli Toyota is where I used to take my 2008 FJ Cruiser for service -until they offered to buy it from me. They’ve been really nice to work with 👍😁
I saw the perfect lift....and it was a 2 inch leveler in the front and the back end was stock...as high as you would want it to be...but you can also take corners like a porshe...cool if your under 6ft tall too...😂
Any wonder they are expanding the available lift package at $4000. This should be an upgrade item and priced as such. Since the lift kit is available at the parts counter for the same price they are giving you no break on the suspension that would come with the truck anyway. Yes it is factory installed with a warranty and you don’t pay someone to install it or you going through 60 pages of how to instructions. Still that’s a lot to pay for an upgrade.
You finally got a squeegee 👏 I will definitely watch more videos. Why the silent upgrades and solution, own your mistakes and say what you gonna do and the fix. Use the dang squeegee, so we can see better. Not only it looks professional using it, instead of finger marks all over. 😅
I hear ya. You can get an SR5 in the low 50s msrp, but when they load em up with all the options (softex heated seats, 14inch screen, bed lights and outlet, 360 birdseye camera, trailer assist, digital rear view mirror, 32 gallon tank, bsm, parking sensors) this is where it lands
Not a spacer kit: The TRD Lift Kit offers a 3" lift in the front and a 2" lift in the back, providing 2.6” of additional ground clearance overall. • Increased suspension stroke to support lift and aid in off-road performance & on-road stability • Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 compliant • Bilstein-Tuned Front & Rear Shock Absorbers • Forged Steel Upper Control Arms by Roush • TRD Red Front Coil Springs
@@TundraDude34 that is more than than just a lift, and by the time you buy all that hardware, you would likely still need Safety Sense to be recalibrated, so $4k, is a little more reasonable
@@TundraDude34 I'm following your journey. Looking at a Limited Edition with the list TRD package Mesquite with blackout trim and wheels. Seeing how bad they need to clear out the 24's.
Do you know if they lifted the stop sale on the lift kit? It hasn't been available for the past 5 months. But if they put it on the new 2025, I'm thinking it should be available now. @TundraDude34

4000$ for a factory lift that is literally just different parts that they need to put on the truck while they build it? Nope. It's not like they are taking it apart and upgrading it with a lift kit. That's absurd. Don't support that crap.
I’m not quite sure what you are saying here but the lift was the same price last year too. Here is what the lift comes with The TRD Lift Kit offers a 3" lift in the front and a 2" lift in the back, providing 2.6” of additional ground clearance overall. • Increased suspension stroke to support lift and aid in off-road performance & on-road stability • Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 compliant • Bilstein-Tuned Front & Rear Shock Absorbers • Forged Steel Upper Control Arms by Roush • TRD Red Front Coil Springs
@@TundraDude34 so it is better parts than the standard. My point is, this isn't the cost of taking a truck to an aftermarket place and having a lift kit installed, which would include the labor to do the work. This is literally just different and branded (Bilstein)parts put on the truck at the factory while they are building the truck. Maybe I'm out of touch with what an aftermarket lift costs these days, but 4000$ for the parts and features you mentioned without the labor of installing a retrofitted lift kit seems like too much money to me.
@xodominator i get what you’re saying. Prices are certainly nuts. As with everything, in all brands, you pay for the convenience of it being factory installed and fully warrantied.
