In today's episode of Star Wars Theory we will examine parts of the old Dark Horse comics that are now legends. These ones focus solely on Qui-Gon Jinn and his adventures, his love life, his temptations into the dark side, and his missions with Obi-Wan. Here we get to learn about a different side of Qui-Gon before his death to Darth Maul. What do you think would happen if he did use the dark side to defeat the Sith, then trained Anakin Skywalker as he was originally supposed to?

I think if Anikin had told Qui-Gon about the dreams he had of Shmi, he would have taken him to Tattoine immediately, since in the second film, it’s obvious that first dream sequence we saw wasn’t the first he had about shim.

New to your channel and in love already. I would love to see the results of quigon perhaps even hearing tal’s call and ignoring it. Embracing his emotions to strike down his enemy and ultimately joining the dark side. How strong Darth Vader and darth maul would both be by the effects is so drastic! This is very similar to when Anakin heard Qui Gon yell out to him when he was attacking the sand people seconds after his mother died. If Anakin had of listened to the spirit voice of Qui Gon then maybe Anakin could have been saved and not gone down the dark side of the Force. Once again great video.

@@deadlyarc1805 And your answer, while sound and popular "(while sound despite being popular" seems to be more appropriate with this fandom), is also hypothetical. Just to play the Darth's advocate (or would Sith's advocate be better?), Obi Wan was no slouch and could both understand and, more importantly, *reach* Anakin better than any other Jedi and still lost him. The only thing Qui Gon could have done that would make any difference is pinpoint Palpatine as the source of all the disturbance at an earlier time. So the question for your hypothesis would be: did Qui Gon have the skills to make the Taken monologue?

Due to his age, I doubt Qui-Gon could take Vader, but he would have related to Anakin better and been a better mentor than Obi-Wan so he may have not lost him to become Vader. Now if we go with them at the same relative age, I think Qui-Gon could kick Vader butt. The suit would make Vader clumsy in comparison to Qui-Gon and his Ataru form.

I love Qui-Gon he's an extrnely underrated character I feel. This is why Qui-Gon's death is so significant. He was the only one that could truly guide Anakin through what he was going to experience. maybe why they even found each other, I wonder? o: you know in JoJo's stand users attract other stand users? xD

This would be one great reason for qui gon being the first to be able to become a force ghost. I think that her scream would serve as an inspiration to the idea of post-life wisdom teaching. I'd love to see both kinds of contents! I bet they'd be as awesome as eachother.
