similar story here. incredibly cute but with baggage. lots of heavy petting but she played me and others, drama queen. got everything but the home run and every time i moved on she kept the tease up by tracking me down and starting it all over for about three years. finally some poor fool married her, he couldn't keep a job because of all the drama and bullsh!t. he got a job where i worked and lasted about 3 months. he was a good person and i hope the best for him. that was 20 years ago.
my first day working at a burger king my coworker accidentally shattered her fingers on that slide down burger microwave thing because it was rush hour and we were understaffed and they made her keep working with one hand until the rush ended an hour later and then let her off early to go to the hospital my second day there was nasty mould on the cheese and they just cut off the mouldy bit and kept using it my third day someone slipped on the oil on the floor and slammed their face into the metal panel thing above the fryers so hard it dented and of course, had to keep working. i didnt work there long at all

I can relate. The bathroom at my local BK is even more bad than a gas station and a porta potty. Rusty exposed toilet bolts, toilet paper on the floor, a broken stall, black stuff on the walls and floor. (shudders) >~< It was so disgusting that I considered holding it.

BK really went downhill with the quality. I think having all these different things on the menu distracted them from doing what they are supposed to do best...making decent burgers and fries.
If only the burger you get looks like the one in the commercials. You usually end up with a dry, stepped on flattened mess. Once in a while you get lucky. And this isn’t just about Burger King it’s all of the fast food burgers.

It’s really sad to see the decline in quality of Burger King. They messed around with their chicken tender recipe (which in my opinion was very good) and now sell these bland chicken nuggets. Their fries aren’t as good as they used to be either

If you want to make a burger patty like mc's or burgerking, then all u need to do is cut a normal patty vertically and make 2 at the same time use your favorite seasoning, for more flavor use red or white onion and some butter or olive oil before you put the patty's on caramelize it for 2 minutes or so or until the onions start looking bubbled, then add your patty's, add some cheese and your done.
I was a kid in the 1960' - 70's. I remember when Burger King burger meat was truly good. (In elementary school we went on a tour and they bragged that the meat came in each day fresh.) For many years now, the burger meat is spongy and often times I get little bits of bone in the meat. I like their fries. I still eat the Whoppers when I have a coupon and enjoy it a little bit, mostly because of nostalgia, remembering all the good Whoppers I had growing up.
I stopped eating at BK decades ago. The main problem is the food was served barely warm not hot like it should be, from the Whopper to their fries....I have been back a few times to try them again to see if its different, even trying to special order the whopper (ie w/o pickles) and still got cold food. Deal breaker. Once, I also saw them pulling burger patties out of a container containing some beef broth or some liquid ( I hope it was a beef broth anyway), ....so much for food made to order, or flame broiled, for all I know is this was grilled somewhere else, frozen and shipped to the restaurant for reheating then sticking it in that liquid...sounds delicious, eh? Didn't taste delicious either...chewy luke warm burger patty When I was in high school, which was a long time ago, I think the burgers were made to order and flame broiled, I remember them being better...but now I don't think they are, based on that liquid incident...but that also just reinforces the reasons why the food is terrible, or maybe I am just unlucky every time I go. That waxy faced mascot does not exactly pull me in to go eat there either.....his appeal does fit the appeal to eat there perfectly tho, non existent..... I guess he is their answer to Ronald McDonald???.....That's a complete fail. I guess kids are the target audience not adults, so maybe its passable to them

I just went to BK and got a rodeo burger and a bacon cheeseburger. It was like 3 bucks and the rodeo burger was really good. I appreciate buying food for less than 5 bucks and being completely satisfied 😀

I had an incident at Burger King yesterday it was funny. My mom had ordered a meal for us, we got the meal and half of it was missing. So we go back and they give us the other half, except for the fries. So we go back again and the manager was there, we finally got our fries. Halfway home, we realized they forgot a burger, we did not go back. I would rate a 10/10 on customer service!! Would recommend!!
Burger King has lost their way. They were the only place that flame broiled. It added a true outside B.B.Q. smoky flavor. but now it's char broiled and has all the taste of McDonalds cardboard patties filled with fillers and textures fillers than real beef. And their frozen pre-breaded onion rings are terrible, Their fries taste like the oil their fried in and not like fries. If I owned one of theses place I would go back basics, Flame broil, Only fresh onion rings and 3 fryers. One for fries, fish ,and onion rings Don't mix them it ruins the flavor.

I like the cardboard fillers in hamburgers! It digest quicker. And taste a lot better too than regular chewy hamburger. That way you can ship faster and eat more! What are you talking about you should learn to make your own God damn hamburgers!

I asked for like 1000 packets of ketchup. They said no. I said isn't your saying have it your way. My way is with a 1000 packets of ketchup. They refused and I have never been back to a burger king since.

The Burger King on San pedro in San Antonio has-had a cook sometimes acting like a manager because workers don't show up He was--is an excellent worker because he did not sit still He took care of everything and was nice to everyone He should be the manager His name is Jr He cooked me sausage burritos larger than the usual size to keep me a customer There were so few people showing up in the mornings that I filled a place for at least a couple of hours because there was wifi Without wifi I would not have been there at all AND that coffee would have to be remade if I did not drink it The coffee was not hot enough for me to begin with because after they made it they poured it into those large caraffes, which cooled it down This could be why it was not selling So I would ask the workers if they would heat it up If not, I would not buy it I walked by mcDonalds on the way there and there would be 1O cars where at BK there was one maybe mcDonalds coffee was always very hot because they kept it on those hot burners Heads up to those CEOs that think they know everything there is to know Like one of the BK workers said to me about BK---- "those pictures on the windows showing scruptious burgers are lies"-----this is why I stopped buying them
I was hoping for a little more history. I remember BK going back to the mid 70's when i was little. Their onion rings were novel- no one else had them back then. I always preferred flame broiling to frying (i like Carl's Jr too). Unfortunately, BK's quality seems to have gone down in recent years. Iike the chicken fries fairly well. But i almost never go to our local BK because it doesn't seem that good. It's a shame
Well my favs on BK (reminder, i'm european, so some sandwiches might have different names) are the Big King (patty, cheese, letuce, onion), or the Double Cheese Bacon. Always ask for the XXL versions. Some burgers like the Rodeo, Big King, Double Cheese and Whooper can be XXL or get an extra one or two patties, too.
Their prices for the quality is beyond ludicrous. Almost $5.00 for a chicken sandwich with a little mayo and a tissue-thin slice of lettuce on a dried out sesame seed roll? Total rip-off. Even with coupons you can't save much. Cheese costs extra. Add your own cheese to your sandwich when you get home, if you can still stomach it by then. Chains should be closing like crazy in the next few years at this rate.
I was in the U.S. Navy back in the 1970's. Burger King had a huge Whaler fish sandwich that was delicious; what they have today is just a minnow...it's that much smaller. Burger King also used to have a real good hot ham & cheese back then. The Burger King here just got re-built from the ground up and we were hoping for a new look, a new design. But...no...it's the exact same layout...what a shame.

Drive past any Burger King early mid morning. Between 9 and 10 o’clock in the morning and smoke is rolling out of the roof. They are cooking all the patties for the day. Go by at lunch time or even worse in the afternoon and all is clear, your meat patty was cooked several hours ago and left laying in a pan waiting on you. When you order they might microwave it to warm it up and they might not, everything is a crap shoot with Burger King. I don’t understand how they have lasted on as long as they have.

I got ripped off and messed about by Australian Hungry Jacks in January 2020. I ordered 2 coffees at drive thru. Told to wait at 2nd window while everyone got their meals at first window, Waited more than 15 mins. No coffees. I was now running late for my appointment. Couple weeks later sent complaint email to head office. Sometime later they rep[lied telling me to go to the store and they happy refund my money. I wasted more time going back to the store where management totally denied getting instruction from head office to refund and the store p*ssed me around another 10 minutes denying the refund.. This shows you how slack big restaurant chains are. Hence: now my whole family and friends never do Hungry Jack Burger King ever again. Disgusting customer service.
Never eating there again, an employee came out with a bucket of ice. The bucket was disgusting, it was orange, but there were black and brown spots on it. Like mold. My family didn’t bother getting ice in our drinks.

It was literally a normal advertised menu item 10 years ago. Shocking they wouldn't make it. I've ordered a quintuple Whopper before. Sometimes you just gotta put your foot down on your path to heart disease.

Yep, for some reason BK has always suffered with hygiene issues. The restaurants are mostly poorly run and disgusting. McDonald’s is very good ok that respect, though I’m sure their food is shit!
Problem with Burger King is the over use of mayonnaise and ketchup. In Texas you have a had time going to Whataburger when they are not busy but Burger King is always empty because they insist on slathering their burgers with gross quantities of mayonnaise and then drenching the patty in ketchup. Whataburger crowns it's hamburger with a small amount of tangy mustard. Much better.

We had a bad experience with a burger knig. .after receiving the food , .the cook came out, joined the cashier, like they did something to the food- laughing out loud ! Looking at us. I asked them what was so funny? I was like ok ! Here take you food and give me back my money.

A True Story... I am an over the road truck driver and about a year and a half ago I was in Texas at a Truck stop late one evening and they had a Burger King inside. Long story short. I ordered Two Woppers for $6 dollars. When I looked in the prep area they were cleaning the so called charbroiler and to the left were the friers... One employee pulled out a basket and to my surprise was my whopper patties... No grill marks and the meat looked like it was shoe leather... I will NEVER EAT AT BURGER KING AGIAN... Greg
