Hey, friendly gattling gull is now a thing :D

It's fun to see both the dynamite and the friendly gatling gull actually put in the game at this point

the most feared boss of the Gungeon "enemy_string_not_found" it's a real run killer.

Development theory: Tsar Bomba was an early idea to the fuselier

i cant belive that bit of these are used in AG&D btw when i defeated bunker and talked to dunkard (i like him idk why) he said a quote about bunker

GIVE US THE BUNKER

The Caterpillar was supposed to give you butterfly wings after a certain amount of time allow you to fly and leave a pink trail that charm enemys upon Dodge rolling

I hope they add bunker, he could be a great mini boss on the lower floors

Maybe the Faker bullet kins were tests for the Red caped bullets

The Bunker seemed like a great idea. It's like an easier Floor 1 Wallmonger.

Glad they changed the nitra explosion sound holy shit thats jarring

to people saying they added dynamite in update, first off thats a prototype version where when you kill it, it doesn't shoot the explosions towards you, and added the regular skull and cross bones for the incoming explosion instead of just kind of swarming at you

the fakery could have been made to test player tracking

Watching this after the final update makes me laugh. Dynamite kin exist but with a name I don't remember, and ticket spawns friendly Gatling gull. Even the rat is fightable.

Yeah, I couldn't help but notice that Dynamite kin has been added since this video was made.

There's a few bizarre unused Sprites and scripts in the game files too.

Friendly gatling gull has added in A Farewell to Arms.

The bunker was either cut from the game early in it's life, because i can't find any legit clips, but it was either that or it was REALLY close, because even Drunkard, who comments on bosses you've defeated, has some dialogue for the bunker, i don't exactly remember it, but it's there.

They've added the Friendly Gull in the latest update :)

Just wanna say cool video. I didn't know about these things (except obviously things now in AG&D) and I thought the Unused Muzzle Flare singing was funny, good work. Some of these things that are unused should really be used, like Bunker and Caterpillar, because that boss is cute and I wanna see a Gun Butterfly.

Dynamite Kin and Resourceful rat got retooled a bit but added to Advanced Gungeons and Draguns.

the bullet kin fakery is porbably an animation test to see if the gun was aiming a the player correctly

The dynamite kin is now included as enemy in last gungeons and draguns patch. I wasn't able to found it on the ammonomicon though. (it looks sightly different though)

Theory on the fakery bullet kin. They where used to test the veteran and bandana bullet kin, because these two bullet kin will try to predict where the player will be and shoot in that area, basiclly making the player run into the bullets. Just a theory though.

The only two that are now explained are the Dynamite Kin and RR.

Dont forget, the test dummy's name is a reference to when enter the gungeon doesn't know how you died, it puts you died by your own slow reflexes, so this was either an inside joke with the devs, or the kill screen just blames it on the template when it doesn't know how you died.

I think the fakery enemies were meant for either a specific area where you walk past them “kinda like meeting the dragon in DS2” to get to a boss or for decoration purposes

I think the friendly Gatling gull was the original reward for doing Gatling gull without getting hit.

The veteran bullet kin fakery looks like it's supposed to be made of cardboard.

Bullet kin fakeries were probably used in the tutorial to teach you dodge rolling or for some kind of enemy testing. ( Maybe they can be killed by pits or stage hazards in which case they were most likely used for that )

Interestingly it seems that at some point all enemies had small bullets as going to the enter the gungeon website you can see enemies shooting small bullets in the gifs.

I'm pretty sure that "Your own slow reflexes" isnt a boss template, and that it's actually for the death message, if you manage to die to somthing that Isnt a death message, like shooting yourself somehow, or in some cases an enemy kills you and it just says that you were killed by your own slow reflexes... or maybe "your own slow reflexes" is just the default text for Anything without a name..?

I want the Gungeon add challenges like dynamite chaos where every single enemy is the dynamite kin even the bosses hmmmmm i wonder what that would look like

Friendly Gatling gull had it's use for a Gull Ticket active item (Can't remember the item's right name) Maybe developers kept it and didn't know how to use it (An active item, a synergy, a gun, a passive item). Now it's an active item.

I think Bunker was rejected at last minute, since it's an inmobile boss, which only shoots, isn't fun or challenging, and seems almost completely functional (except for the ruin of it which doesn't allows you to retrieve loot)

Dynamite kin got into the update and now can be found. No discreption in ammonomicon

(I presume) If you spawn in an item called the Ticket, you can spawn in the Friendly Gatling Gull legit. Also, the caterpillar at some point would undergo metamorphosis, and give you flight. I got this from the ETG wiki.
