It's not just the content. There are some people who think entire video games are solely made for them. This level of entitlement has never occurred before. When I was a kid and teenager, the only reviews we saw before purchasing a game were from professional critics, who we didn't care about because their standards were ridiculous. If it turned out you didn't like a game, tough s***. You either sold it, or traded with a friend at school. Nowadays, people are keyboard fighting on Twitter, Reddit, and Instagram to get developers to make the game exactly as they want. There is a stand up comedy skit by Louis CK who talks about how amazing technology has become today. His point in that entire skit is that it is wasted on the "worst piece of s*** a**holes" (his words) in the history of mankind, and he is so right.

I don't think I have ever seen a youtuber play objectives and shootdown killstreaks. Respect. Camping is when you stay in the same spot. There is a huge difference between tacitly holding an area like you were and camping. I personally have never liked maps where if you control one area and it you win Rust and Estate are a good example of this.

You have great and valid content as a whole. People openly complain about campers when they decide to stop camping and run around for once. Hypocrites are everywhere in COD and most are too stupid to realize it’s pot calling the kettle black. I called a guy out for using a kronus a few years back on Xbox, he went and found my kdr from mw2019, my first cod game, he said I was a trash player. My kdr was like a .94, I also have out of everyone on Xbox the most wins the most defends and the most time on objective in that game. I proceeded to tell him in the comments of his Xbox vid which I said he was cheating in that I had Parkinson's and severe arthritis after years of work, he turned his comments off all his vids since 😂. I have the most fun on objective based modes obviously but I do hate it when I'm the only one holding hardpoint or taking zones and everyone else is trying to be a tryhard. excellent, just saved me from ranting(i will leave it to shouting at the wife........Joking obviously) as this fits all my thoughts. The reason they had the vantage point in rust is 100% clear. Camping = one person that does not move from one spot for an extended length of time, basically anyone who stands still for 2 seconds as you said is called a camper and thats where the sad people cannot tell the difference between tactical and logical. Oh and lets not forget...The only person who should be worried about what you do is YOU.

To me, campers are the pathetic junk bots that sit in rooms, behind doors, or standing and just watching staircases, etc...I'm a COD 1 player, Yes folks, the very first ONE...and it was released before most of you that will comment on this post were born and YES, there were campers and hackers waaaay back when as well...Walls isn't new, neither are aim bots...Moving on, sniping is part of the game/ part of war...you know, what we are told this game simulates. Laying in wait with a sniper rifle is not camping imo, its the very idea of being a SNIPER! However running around a map with that same sniper rifle, quick scoping players bc you think your aimbot is less noticeable is just laughable. (and do me a solid, try that in a real gun battle vs an enemy with ANY machine gun=RIP) Some maps as Shorty pointed out, make you play slower or stay put vs running out as a martyr for some hackers new world record that now seems to be literally broken daily...I digress, COD from the onset was never good, never fair/ balanced and there have always been sweats that will manipulate whatever aspect of the game, like "Bunny hoping" macros, walls, and aimbots aka "aim assist" to have an advantage or take advantage of a glitch that Hactivison has forever refuses to fix bc the simps keep buying their junk. Wanna fix it? STOP buying, Black Ops 6 should be a total financial fail, yet the preorders keep pouring in, SMFH. Thanks for what you do here, Mr. Shorty...stay blessed

Oh yeah! To answer your question: There is no single answer to what is defined as camping. There is a range because there're a range of gamers who, if you play the game slightly different from them or you're just beating them, they easily become as emotional as a 15 year old girl who's father just told her no she can't go to a party. Being a camper in Call of Duty is defined as anywhere from being in the corner of a one entrance/exit building lined with claymores the entire match to arriving to location 1 second before the person accusing you to be a camper.

Imo somebody sitting in one spot for more than around a minute - 2 minute range is a tactical/stealthier playstyle. And, if you are a run and gun style player, you mostly wouldnt be going into objective modes and tryharding. you are better off being in TDM or FFA gamemodes, and vice versa for tactical players.

I don't care how people want to play. The hate against camping is simply that a really good player who decides to hold down a position can be a nightmare. I've played most cod games since cod3, and every single one with multi-player has camping and people screaming about campers. I'm not sure what kinds of drugs people are on that makes them believe their opinions on what style of gameplay is allowed are valid, but they aren't. As long as you aren't cheating, you should play however you feel like playing, whatever makes it fun for you. It's literally the reason i started sniping in warzone 1. The death coms were just too amusing. The vitriol and unbridled hate in the death com is genuinely my favorite part. The only thing at the same level is when i get the "cheater" death com, lol. If only they knew I'm just an average player and their anger, hate, and cheating accusations are the best part of the game.

Lord people don’t understand what the word camping means sitting still is not camping holding a part of the map is not camping. Camping is the asshole in the corner in the building with two Claymores folding shield sitting in a corner waiting for people to come that’s a camper. Where are you? One single entry into the building if you’re wide open space and you’re sitting still scope your sniper if you hold a certain area you’re just good if you could control half of the map, you’re awesome and if you want rust and you can control the tower and the whole map, you’re the best I control sides of the map. I hold the spawn I make it where People get sick of dying on this side of the map so they only go to the left like Shoot house Either no one comes down the middle or they stay away from that junkyard rampage call of duty

certain call of duty games should be played slow, hardcore on world at war, is a great example, i love hard core, and on games like cod 4 and cod WaW playing slower is nice so to me modern warfare 3 being meant to played slow isn't that bad.
