Riding those since release and I think thay are amazing. This is indeed a special kind of skate (xsjado in general), allowing you to be quite loose and flex on the ankle but I love that feeling, I could not skate some majestic for example, they feel way too "rigid" for me. Here i feel like riding in some comfy skate shoes with wheels attached. I replaced the freestyle frame with an Oysi cause i didnt like the feeling that much.. but now i think i got myself the perfect skate. Also love the look of it , a really beautful skate in my opinion.

I'd like to hear you compare them to the Eugens. I have Eugens and I absolutely love them. I never remove the boot however. They stay laced and all I have to do is slide my foot in and crank the ankle strap a couple of clicks and i'm ready to go. To me the Eugen style boot seems like a logical progression however I know a lot of the Xsjado purists dont like them specifically because of the boot style liner. My only criticisms of the Eugens is that the royale groove is a bit too deep (I skate flat so the boot down angle gets quite steep on flat frames) and I think a mellow v-cut in the back would add a whole extra dimension of movement to a skate which already offers a lot of movement if you set them up right.

Because of this buying these! Loved my xsjado days that was the happiest of times for me.

Yeah I had the same issue with mine. I had 44 (10.5) but they didn't end up being sized properly when you remove the shock absorber. I've just gotten back into skating and found that when I first got them, the outside of my feet would ache after just a short time skating. I haven't gone for another skate since adjusting them to the right size but will give it a shot and see. I have a bit wider feet than some, I guess, so that might be part of the pain, it or just might be that I haven't skated for ages so I need to build the muscles in my feet again. BTW that video of you from back in the day was a trip. That's the Lino I was first introduced to via Be-Mag Cities Relinquished when you got taken out first day of your tour. Horrible luck with that one.

Love that Video with all the cutting, footage and skating 🎉 and yes they suits you with the tech Tricks much ❤ I had the chance to get some old parts and combining with the eugen liner and I love it 🩵 but sometimes I wish a more "normal" skate like a cult or them. But the type x is some other way like the mook! Liked the mooks alot and the type x I had problems to lock and I sliped often away Anyways good and motivating Video 🎉

Xsjados were great skates, I personally had farmers 4th. They were like a part of me, i’ve never met such cool skates not before not after, they were really so comfort and gave me lots of control, also i recovered my ankle in them: I twisted my ankle after an unsuccessful slide and then I had a lump on my ankle every time I put on blades, but then I went through rehabilitation and switched from hardboots to xsjados where nothing can put pressure and thats saved my skating. The dark side is that they had a lot of problems with parts that easy to break especially on cold, so get ready to buy them with extra buckles and cuffs. P.s: I didn’t like farmers 5 due to their lots of forward flex, I don’t like the 2.0 cuff at all. Maybe the problem is fixed by using high footrap/liner in usd shadows, but I didn’t skated them.

How are they for new beginner skaters? Tbh this style of skate to walk sounds awesome for when i finish learning to properly skate!!😮 The idea would be really useful . I wouldn’t use them for freestyle for a long while too. Although the price is pretty close to offroad skates. Which i think would also be cool to get! Especially with my pothole roads around here😂

Hi Ricardo, great review mate! Can you solve one doubt for me? I have the Xsjado Carlos Pianowski edition for more than 10 years already, It's still going strong, and I'm still using it! But, I don't have the shoes anymore, so I use a converse as well, which is not ideal. Do you know if this new Dustin Shoes can works on the Xsjado CP? Is this heel lock fit there? Hey Ricardo, i love your content! I like the system when the boot can be worn as a street shoe. But I'm looking for a freeskate that can do that, with a 165mm mount. Do you know of any? Except for the Powerslide Doop... I think it's better if the boot also fits the system specifically and isn't just a normal boot.

I used the adidas original fencing shoe with Xsjados back in the day. Fit perfect, were breathable and very light.

Which size are the cuff/soulplate?? I'm 43EU too and they used to come with de L and was so big for me. Them with de 2.0 soulplate on M was better. But i always wonder if for the 43 shoes fits better on de small shell (M o the 1.0 or S on the 2.0). Nice vid by the way!

I just got them and the thing that annoys me the most is the tongue popping out constantly... I tightened the velcro straps all the way...

Hardest part is being 27mondo. M vs L base plate is so wild in difference and control. I still can’t decide between the two

Power slide website has enough parts on there to build out a full skate , mostly old stock as far as i can tell.

The instep strap looked way too loose on your clips. That explains the foot moving around.
