After this video, I'm convinced as it's clear as day, that he's waiting for the USSF to call. He probably has realized how bad Mexican football is now, how much they've gone down and this is the perfect opportunity to jump ship. You can't blame the kid but at the same time, with Pulisic, Aaronsen, Reyna, etc, all playing in the same position, one has to wonder if there's any room for this kid. Thankfully he has his youth going for him. Whatever he decides to do, let's hope it works out of him. He seems like a real good kid.

European scouts are aware of him, and he will move abroad at some point. Winger is an area we are very deficient at. Behind Pulisic, we have…Haji, Booth, Paredes, and hoping to land Koleosho? That’s not very promising. When you look at the right side, it’s even more dire. We have Weah and…again hoping for Koleosho? His ability to cut in, and be an inverted winger is a profile we simply don’t have on the right, at the moment.

Honestly, if he wants more playing time he should probably choose Mexico. Much more difficult to break into the US squad. He’s a good prospect!

Any MLS product that is a dual nat should pick Mexico. He would be better off with Mexico.

Hey Tac, it seems like the US is starting to produce players at a good clip now, with the new MLS academies and even USL. Especally teams like the Union. It seems like the next step for MLS is to become a developmental league, maybe like a Dutch, S. American, or Portugal league? But is that their ceiling, without bigger competitions to play in, like the UEFA Champions League, how would MLS ever get to that level, or should they be happy to aim for a top 10 league? Even if they did everything "right" like add pro/rel, loosen the salay cap, etc it still seems to be a challenge. The expanded Club World Cup helps a little down the road but... Maybe Leagues Cup needs to invite some European teams, not the biggest teams, but teams like Rangers, Ajax, and such. Would like your thoughts, or even a separate dream MLS scenerio video.

I have been living in UT for a bit now and love watching RSL. Fidel is a very promising player. He seems to improve every week. The talent is there for sure. I like Diego Luna as well, but he has been struggling lately (I think mentally he is overthinking but it happens he's young). I'd love for Fidel come play for US.

This summer there is a Concacaf U19/20 Championship which is a qualifier for next year's U20WC.

I thoroughly enjoyed that. Really hope he chooses the United States but I also don’t blame him if he chooses Mexico. Would also love to see him staying in mls for another 3-5 years. Really fine tune his craft. Start banging in the goals and start really racking up the assists. A good offer from Europe will come in a couple years.

As an American of Mexican background. Even with the current state of El Tri i would always pick El Tri over USA. I'm an American all the way but when it comes to futbol I'm totally Mexican.

Lol. Mexico hasn't, and won't win NOTHING. Maybe another useless gold cup, and pretend they won the world cup 😂. At least the USMNT has shown potential for something. And USMNT actually has a talent pool. Mexican sports analyst have said over and over again how Mexico has NO talent pool at this moment. They have to look outside the liga mx for talent.

The problem with USMNT is that they still need to grovel for players….if the USMNT was run better…players would be lining up to come play for the USA.
