The V8 Is Here To Stay! (2025 Land Rover Defender V8) 

99% of people have never physically seen a Land Rover broken down on the road. The people who talk s-t have never driven one or can’t afford one. Toyota, Jeep, Subaru, GM, Ford and VW have more lemons and recalls than Land Rover.

We've seen a lot of price increases but LR seem to be one of the last brands to hike their prices. Some full sized pickups are almost the cost of a Range Rover these days. You wouldn't know it with this Defender V8 though. I've never seen such immense price gaps between trims. You can almost buy two base models for the price of one V8. S $58,525 X-Dynamic SE $70,125 Outbound $87,125 X $93,425 V8 $111,425 (sourced from Car and Driver)

That's the SUV I want !!! ( if I could afford it ) 😦

Hi Ben, good review I have the MY24 110 P525 great machine, I have been told by JLR that the MY25 will be the last JLR product to have the 5.0 litre V8 and it will be discontinued MY26 year with the BMW 4.4L V8 taking its place which is a real shame as this engine has so much character. This info is not official but this is what I have been advised by a few people with in JLR.

Ben, could you showcase the 2-door Defender 90 P400 with AWD ?? It's way more "affordable" than the $100k+ V8. Thanks ! 🙏

They put the window sticker on upside down to foreshadow what’s coming. Whoever buys it will be upside down on what they owe vs what the car is worth very quickly!

Really doesn’t matter, it’s still the worst rated vehicle of all manufacturers, you have to live next door to the dealer if you’re dumb enough to buy it!
