Thanks, Jeffery, well done. Great presentation! Self awareness is something that we can all grow from and into in order to be the best version of ourselves. This, in turn, will allow us to live in the spirit of Ubuntu, for ourselves and all humanity.

There are some very basic questions which we never ask ourselves, this little speech certainly asks you to do that. It is never late to see yourself than living in illusions and validation paradox.

Thank you so much for this. I would constantly seek validation from people whom I wanted to like or even love me. I realised that I was doing this with my former partner and took action to stop it. That is when I personally started to grow. Thank you.

I say you just need to let your goals (expectations) stay plastic and malleable. Your brain looks for things and if you only have a single, strict goal, your brain only works in service of that goal and discards other things that could potentiall be very valuable. As opposed to being very open, constantly opening up new avenues, looking for the potential in things. If you're only set on one goal, you asses potential in its service to that goal.

This man knows that there's a lot of fake profiles using his photos?? I just saved my mom by doing such a long research about a man who she was talking for days... I'm Brazilian, but I found on a Germany forum a lot of people who suffered from scams and frauds. My english may not be the best but I was capable of finding the real man behind those fake profiles.

Wth are u talkin about . Telling this to traumatized low self worth kid will only make it worse . The goal is to have high self esteem right now and then have intention to improve . You are telling people they are lacking something . And yeah the reason they have low expectations is caused by self esteem . Fun fact even when u reach your goal you will still lack something and crave something more . So yeah brother solution is to love yourself right now get confidence and detatchment and then have intention to do what you want . So yeah u missed it absoulutly

It's bizarre when people obviously seek your validation, but react poorly when you don't give them exactly what they're looking for. It comes off as a weakness of character to me.
