Klaus knew that even if tyler said: No i won’t bite caroline » it would happen anyway because even if Tyler didn’t wanna do it , the sire bond is so strong he just ended up doing it subconciously - by his réaction, he really didn’t mean to …. that’s why Klaus wasn’t mad when Tyler refused him : he knew it would get done anyway!
I think Caroline's werewolf poisoning progressed so quickly in this episode because a hybrid bit him, a higher form of a werewolf. Maybe it takes days for a normal werewolf bite to kill but a hybrid bite may just take hours.

Klaus walks on screen and owns the scene everytime. Joseph Morgan is an excellent actor. Hell most are including nina is phenomenal Paul and Ian too. Also kat. Others are good too but those are excellent. Ong how could i forget Daniel Gilles!!!!
@@kimcottingham8043 I watched the first episode of Legacies without realizing that I had to watch TO first and was so confused so I stopped. I had to go back and watch TO and I'm still on the 4th season. But been loving Joseph Morgan and Daniel Gillies in it. I do plan to properly watch Legacies though and I think you should give it another try too! Ooh a big surprise, that's right, season 4 just aired!! How exciting! Cancelled? Where? "It's right. Just not right now." 🥺 The reason why it's not right now is because Elena needs time to work through her feelings until she's finally ready to choose.. It would have been selfish of her to kiss Damon again when she wasn't entirely sure if she was doing the right thing. That fact that Damon accepts that and doesn't pressure her shows how much he's changed. He knows she's not ready so he's going to let her go at her own pace.
Savagery aside, I'm calling Stefan out like I would if Damon had done this. Just the fact that he chose the Wickery Bridge was sooo unnecessary. He could’ve done something else or driven Elena somewhere else, yet he chose to do it on the bridge where the accident happened. He made Elena relive that trauma (which she also has survivors guilt from) and I don’t care how focused he was on revenge, because at this point, his emotions were back. And then he has the audacity to leave her there and say, ‘I lost you the minute I left town with him‘ ignoring the fact that Elena spend months trying to find him, went to Chicago, and didn’t give up on him. I don't think Klaus was really interested in killing Caroline, more like getting everyone's allegiance. He has the Mayor, the council and now sheriff Forbes on his side over Stefan. I love his talk with Caroline, it's so genuine and he actually opens up to her. The tears in his eyes as he admits to wanting to die but not being able to broke me. Just seeing him vulnerable with Caroline is literally my favorite thing about Klaroline.
I appreciate you clarifying that you would've called Damon out for this as well. Too many fans out there dismiss the wrong Damon does but magnify the wrong Stefan does.
He actually lost her the moment he left, because he is a good person who sacrificed his life to save his brother. His brother, who has no ounce of blood or guilt, has been trying to make her fall in love with him all summer (which he's been doing throughout her relationship with Stefan), and she's already had feelings for Damon since Stefan left, to do to him exactly what Catherine did, and what she did of Her attempt to bring him back in Chicago, and when he came back with Klaus, is just actions so that she does not feel guilty and how terrible she is to fall in love with his brother while he is fighting death for her and his brother's sake, as she said to Caroline completely, so he is absolutely right in what he said despite the terribleness of what he did.
@@laramarlene246zx5 I still don't think he lost her the moment he left with Klaus. Damon already had feelings for Elena long before Stefan left, Elena had some strong feelings as well, with her only having Damon around, of course she gravitated toward Damon more. Yeah it's terrible that she fell in love with Damon when Stefan was out there sacrificing himself, but did she get together with Damon and just give up on Stefan? No, she fought and fought for him despite how harshly he treated her. I still think Stefan was the one that gave up on her.
Remember Klaus said he'd heal Caroline so long as Lizz (Carolines mum) supports him bc shes the police chief. He did it to make her cooperate/not get in his way. The same way hes using Tyler to get his mum (Mayor or whatever she is) to cooperate. Both parents have positions of power in the town, he's using their children as leverage.
The fact that Stefan saved Elena on that same bridge and saw first hand what happened makes it worse that he would bring her back to that place and do that. Even if he didn’t plan on actually turning her, he knew what that specific bridge represented for her and the damage it would cause on her emotionally. To make her relive that trauma (which we’re even shown how bad her trauma is in the first episode of the show when Bonnie is driving) is so beyond messed up. He had Elena not giving up on him and looking for him for months trying to get him back just for him to do this to her for his revenge and then leave her there without a phone bc he threw it out of the car. She put up with his rudeness when Klaus assigned him to watch her and now this, except this isn’t bc Klaus compelled him anymore. He even calls her a blood source in this episode. You have to be a different type of person for you to know someone’s trauma and use it to your benefit without consideration for that person or even having the decency to pick a different place.
here me out, I know what Stefan has done is horrible and for me this is the first horrible thing he did to her but, didn't Elena do the same thing to him? Although she knows their story with Catherine, and how much Stefan traumatized from what Catherine did by entering into a double affair with him and his brother, and thats exactly what she did.

Which is Stefan having had to sacrifice himself in order to save Damon and protect Elena... You mention how Elena "put up" with Stefan's rudeness and how she "didn't give up on him" as if she is the one that sacrificed the most in this scenario, she isn't... Stefan was the one who had to sacrifice everything, including his own free will in order to keep her safe and to save Damon, he is also a victim... Even all that Stefan is doing right now it's happening AS A RESULT from the sacrifice he made for her and his brother; Yes, he isn't compelled to "follow Klaus' commands" but his emotions are still fucked up and mostly off BECAUSE OF KLAUS; his relationship with Elena took a dive because of Klaus and what Stefan sacrificed. So yeah, Stefan is off the rails and he is being savage; but all of his actions at the moment, even the worse ones, carry a HUGE ASTERISK next to them, and that's the context around the whys and hows of what he is doing and the fact that he had little to no control, free will or fault over the events that led him to this state

If we’re being honest and looking at the overall picture she did sacrifice anyway bc she died at Klaus’ hands to protect Stefan and everyone else. Being a victim doesn’t mean that you get to make other people your victim as well. Even after going away with Klaus and being compelled Elena was holding out for him and searching for him. What a slap in the face for him to say "I lost you the minute I left town with him". He had no control then, he has control now. He is no longer compelled and no longer has his humanity off. Whether or not he’s allowing all his feelings in, he had enough emotion to CARE about whether Damon died and he’s also currently feeling anger/resentment. He already let himself care, had he not let himself care and only focused on revenge your point may have made sense to me but that’s not the only emotion he felt. You’re not going to get any sympathy out of me for Stefan in this situation when at the end of the day, he chose that exact spot and did what he did to her. He’s not dumb and knew exactly what he was doing, he even says “her fear sold it”. Entering an emotional relationship with your brother is not a trauma, especially since your ex-partner did that to you, and you hurt and told this person about your past trauma , so what is the concept of trauma for you? And By the way, the love triangle concept is two people falling in love with one person, and this person cannot decide who to love. But to be in a relationship with a person and having feelings for his brother, this is called betrayal, whether emotionally, or physically, it remains betrayal, and with his brother it is called disgust. Oh and I'm sorry I don't compare what Stefan did so horrible I don't make excuses for him. But the concept of the trauma is similar to me, each one made the other live the same trauma again.
what stefan did to elena was wrong period, i understand he focused all his energy on revenge cause he wasnt backing off even after klaus threatened to kill damon, but she didnt deserve that..it was not savage at all
Stefan was never really going to drive Elena off that bridge, just as Damon was never going to kill Elena in season 1 when he force fed her his blood. He had to make Elena's fear believable, just like Damon did when he pretended that Bonnie died (and made Elena break down then too) so Klaus would believe it. And I get it, for him, all he could focus on was getting revenge for everything he has lost. It was definitely still messed up but I get his angle. He was genuinely thinking that his only life's purpose is to ruin Klaus since he took so much from him. I also understand his state of mind with not wanting to embrace his humanity given his trauma and torment that he lives after what he was forced to do. I think it would have been better if he had approached his brother with his revenge, as Damon would have supported him without criticism.
i think that stefan couldve put elena in any other life threatening situation but he chose to make her relive a trauma on the exact same bridge the accident happend , and at this point he had his emotions back , i think it was disgusting of him and if it was damon everyone would be at his head

What stefan did here is unforgivable even if it was damon I wouldn't forgive this part. He had his emotions back so this is all on him. For revenge he forced her to relive her trauma. It's messed up.

His emotions are not back, just a few drops of negative emotions... But more to the point of your comment, let me ask you this: Do you think that this is worse than Damon killing Jeremy without knowing that he would come back?... You say that even if it was Damon you wouldn't forgive an act like this; So I ask you, is this really "worse"? Damon actually killed Jeremy, so he actually died, a person that Elena loves probably above herself; she didn't die in this scenario... If we talk about trauma, she also has very bad trauma about loosing loved ones, fear of abandonment, death in her family, protecting the people around her, etc... So Damon also hit right in the nail of her trauma when he did that... So, is this really worse? Weighing all of the aspects I don't think this is worse; killing Jeremy is still the worse thing that any of the Salvatores has done to Elena So i'll ask you a second question: Did you forgive Damon for killing Jeremy?... You seem to have in a way, given the way you mentioned Damon in your comment, so I'm assuming that you moved pass what he did... So I'm guessing you should be able to, not forgive, but move pass Stefan's actions the same way a lot of fans move pass Damon's.
@@Alewaxon Thank you!!! Sooo many things Damon has done that would be considered unforgivable. Everyone defends Damon and his actions in S1 because his humanity was on a "diimmer switch" & now Stefan is literally going through the SAME. Only he's blocking his emotions because he cant deal with the horrific things he's done to INNOCENT people. Its crazy how Damon doesn't even have that type of moral compass where he feels bad for most of the things he's done. I LOVE Ian though, because he has literally said that this fandom defends Damon way too much and that Damon is NOT the better brother.
Elena all worked up over the kiss from last night, Damon so happy, and “It’s right just not right now” 😩🥺 First official Klaus and Caroline scene! Their dynamic is so interesting Poor Elena, my hearts drops every time I watch Stefan and Elena in the car. This has to be one of my least favorite Stefan episodes. If there’s one thing that has greatly affected Elena it’s the accident where she survived and her parents didn’t. To take her to that exact bridge, in a speeding car, and feed her blood is wrong on so many levels. This isn’t even impulsively done, he thought it out and still decided it was a good idea to use her like that. I don’t think this is a spoiler bc it’s just never really properly addressed: imo it’s disappointing how this event gets brushed over by every character in the show and it’s an issue I have with how this scene was handled afterwards.
Every event gets brushed over, Damon killing Jeremy, klaus killing Jenna, Tyler losing his uncle to Damon, uncle zac dying, Stefan doing this and a lottttt more in future seasons.

Nah what Stefan did to Elena here was way too far, her parents died there and she almost died too. People really overlook the trauma Elena has been through because she can be a bit annoying sometimes. She’s by no means my favourite character and she often annoys me but she didn’t deserve that at all
Stefan going over Wickery Bridge with Elena is the equivalent (actually it's less worse, but let's play devil's advocate for the Damon stans) as Damon killing Jeremy without knowing he had his ring on. They have both done terrible things to the people they love, and not just them, but everyone on this show has to some extent. Morality is a bit of a grey area with this show.
They're cutting it to ONCE a week, can you believe it? Just to make space for some academy of umbrellas or some, I don't agree with the change, TVD reactions are their most viewed videos so doesn't make sense
Actually this talk of Stefan thinking through his crazy actions more than Damon thinks through his crazy actions reminded brought up the unfortunate comparison of this bridge incident (the bad one) and him forcing that person to drink his wife’s blood. Maybe in the sense of doing something very traumatic to someone psychologically? A faint echo of that since this one had several purposes, 1) losing it, 2) pressuring Klaus, 3) pushing Elena away. :-/
The start of Klaroline has always been weird to me. They do have really great chemistry together, but their beginning was so off-putting. I wish they would have done a few things differently with the set up of that scene. But what I think is really cool is that when Klaus gave Damon and Stefan his blood, he put it in a cup or vial before he gave it to them. However, for Caroline, he let her drink straight from his veins. I think it's a really meaningful moment for them because he has control issues but in this moment, he lets himself be vulnerable.
I might be one of the few Klaus fans who isn't a fan of Klaroline. He's the one that told Tyler to bite her so he's the reason she was dying in the first place. And then he just comes over and gives Caroline his blood like a hero? Just no. Hurting someone and then fixing them sounds toxic. He needs to work out who he is instead of starting a relationship rn

So fellas the actor Steve McQueen who plays Jeremy left the show for another project that you guys might heard of called Chicago Fire. During that time he became a main character on the other series and the showrunner wanted him full-time for a story they were setting up for Steven's character. That's why he had to leave and became a recurring on TVD instead. The Meredith character is in The Vampire Diaries novel so I pretty much glad that they introduced her but wish they stuck to her storyline from the book.
The thing is Jeremy wanted to leave he wanted them to run so technically Elena did what he wanted hahaha and delena god I love them 😂 personally I think Stefan took it to far I understand doing what needs to be done but making her relive trauma nah plus he’s no Damon I think he’s better at being vanilla Stefan hahaha great reaction can’t wait for me
I really hate Damon in season3, he didn't even feel guilty for kissing his brother girlfriend, he acted like nothing happend and smile around him. Spoiler I know what Stefan did was wrong but I hated everyone call him out of his actions only for this while Elena did the same thing after she turn on her humanity, she focus on the person who made her like that, and that is Katherine, she focus on hating Katherine more than anything else and she doesn't care who she hurt to make Katherine suffer. They turn on their humanity but that's not enough because the pain is so much to take in, so, their vampire emotions focus on something, clearly I do not call that's their normal self

Nancy_22: I think we generally judge Stefan hard here because it's the first time we see this kind of extreme behavior where he's not compelled (which impacts someone he cares/cared about). So when we see other no humanity vamps later on, we tend to be more understanding. But as an Elena fan, I could never excuse the trauma he put her through, especially knowing the fact that he had some humanity on at this point.

So much Stefan outrage. It's completely hypocritical and outrageous, especially coming from Damon fans, lol. Jeez. The things Damon did to Elena, and her family, some would say unforgivable, but he still gets forgiven. Stefan is deserved of that forgiveness here. What Stefan did is no more harsh then what any other vampire in the series does. Somehow Stefan gets held to a much higher standard, even though the reasons for him doing what he does make the absolute most sense. Is it messed up what he did? Abso-fucking-lutely! Is it the worse thing this show has done to it's characters? Abso-fucking-lutely not. Just stop pretending you would act the same if it was Damon. I haven't seen any outrage for Damon over the nasty and cruel things he has done in these posts for this show on these reaction video's, so just stop.
haha, i agree, i am not a damon fan and love stefan more but i agree what he did here was really bad, but honestly till now, damon has crossed all the lines and when i hear people say, stefan lost her here or stelena died here , i am like what?by that logic, delena should have died in s1 itself
I think one of the problems is that in season 1, Stefan was near perfect and Damon was introduced as the bad guy, so it's easy for people to give them those roles throughout the series. Where as, once we find out about Stefan and understand how "bad" he was too, it's easier to forgive Damon for some of his earlier actions. We know that Elena had been Stefan's #1 fan since the beginning of the show, he literally stayed in Mystic Falls for the girl. Throughout the series, we see how deeply he cares for her. Even when Klaus compelled him, he was able to resist some of the compulsion. He had been putting her on a pedestal (next to his brother) the entire series, so to see a shift in his behavior, it took many by surprise and saw it as out of line. I think what also enraged people in this episode is that he was not as incapacitated as he was when he was being compelled, since he was able to still care when Damon's life was in danger. Even if some knew he wouldn't actually kill her, it's the fact that he put her through that trauma all over again. I believe that Damon fans were probably thinking, 'see, Stefan is not the saint the characters in this show have portrayed him as.' This was a big moment for them to point out that he's no better than Damon. I don't think it was about them ignoring Damon's behavior, but about bringing to light that Stefan does messed up things as well. Does Stefan deserve forgiveness for what he did? I 💯 agree, especially since Damon received it after impulsively killing Jeremy. But overall, no one brother is better than the other. I mean we are talking about vampire diaries.. literally both got blood on their hands and they are a toxic species to begin with.
Don't worry, even Ian Somerhalder agrees with you! I remember at comic con he said "I dont understand how you guys don't see how bad we (the Salvatore brothers) are for Elena. Her whole family has died & now she's a Vampire." He's also expressed in a interview that Damon doesn't deserve Elena.
Lots of TVD fans are super silly. They pretend to be "objective", "moral", or "mature". Perfect example is how they praise or prop up Ripper Stefan whos a serial murderer/abuser. I remember comments like "oh you'll love him" Now he does something, far less worse and they lose their shit.. and some are even calling out the reactors for enjoying it? Lmao gosh there's logic, and no winning with this fandom.
I personally like evil Stefan. I'm only losing my sh*t because he went too far and he deserves to be called out on it. Just like when Klaus and Damon do awful things, I don't just approve of it. I think it's okay for fans to be frustrated when they disagree with the evil actions characters they like do. It's unrealistic to expect people to love every evil thing that their favorite character does, especially if those actions impact another character they love (Elena).
It is interesting hearing or reading how some fans praise an action of one character and in the next episode criticize another character for doing something similar or equivalently wrong... You can see a lit bit of that favoritism even among the guys in their discussions... Some stick to the view that they enjoy the "savagery" and it doesn't matter where it comes from and they are not really interested in the morality of the actions; but some criticize Stefan heavily in this arc and shape their opinions of the character over stuff that they praise or at the very least overlook from a character like Damon... Like the criticism of Stefan being "all over Elena when they are not together" when Damon has been doing that from day 1; or the fact that Stefan is doing dangerous plans that disregard the well being of others around them and it is "wrong", but when Damon does it it's "entertaining" and when Stefan was the opposite and was very careful and mindful of the wellbeing of people around them his character was still BAD because he was "boring".
I mean I will say that Meredith hasn’t done anything “off” and that you can’t tell whether someone is a f*ckboy or a liar or whatever their appearance and even attitude because they come in a lot of forms. I mean clearly she is being painted as suspicious by the show, and Alaric leapt to the conclusion about the dude with no evidence whatsoever lol. But just wanted to say.

Uhhh what's wrong with that? At least they're being somewhat consistent. They're enjoying Stefan's "savagery" as they enjoy Damon's. So what? Clearly they prioritize other things in the show besides being morally right, (which theyve said on multiple occasions)
