Stefan never said goodbye to her because he would have to explain to her that they will never be able to stay together because Stefan now has a countdown on his life and until he will die he will have to run and to not put Caroline and the babies in danger he will return to her. Caroline here thinks that when Rayna will die for good Stefan will be free to stay with her, if he says to her the truth she will feel forced to choose between the babies and Stefan and he obviously doesn't want that she has to make that choice.

I skipped a few scenes that bored me to death like how Matt owed Rayna for saving his life from Krystal,since looks like Penny dies at the end of this season. Seriously? This season has been all over the place. Stalerie killed Julian, now Beau's dead, ML&Nora are captured by Enzo's fathers Armory, while Val is w/Stefan, Calaric are together, altho Defan are united after Matt gives Rayna; Stefan, then Damon makes a deal w/Rayna for her mark to leave Stefan 2b on him. What's wrong w/Damon? He's more of a worse brother to Stefan now than he was when Bonnie desiccated him next2 Elena for 3yrs. He just wants Stefan to be happy w/Caroline even tho she's already in NOLA looking for Klaus who's still MIA. Anyway, I hope it's said where Klaus is in the timejump,bc now somehow they'd have2b a jump on TOs as well to be caught up w/TVD. So,I was right Klaus won't be MIA until TOs 3Bfinale since his sires are tryna kill him. Altho I laughed w/Finn fighting Kolvina,but I'm just happy 2c Caspar back. Now,if only they got Claire back somehow. She's the one OGBex is my fave. +Tery.cz They are Jo (Alaric's dead fiancée's) children. Alaric is their father. It involves a cracked out storyline where Jo's family of witches somehow switched out Jo's uterus while she was dying into the closest dead ass vampire womb they could find. A vampire who, despite being as biologically dead as a doornail, still managed to nourish these parasites without any explanation given as to how. Unfortunately, Caroline got to be the recipient of the worst storyline TVD has ever done simply because Candice was pregnant and the writers/producers were too lazy to figure out ways how to work around it without completely demolishing their own mythology, logic and just overall good taste. So yeah, Caroline was forced to play surrogate to her ex-history teacher/BFF's parental guardian and she was forced to be happy about it as well because Julie Plec thinks we're all idiots who will buy any old garbage, no matter how disgusting or disturbing.
