For those saying Caroline doesn't love Alaric.. She does but not in that way.. She had his babies doesn't automatically make them romantic partners. And all Ric wanted was a normal family and he's projecting the love for the actual mother of his kids (Jo) on Caroline.. Let's not make Caroline the bad guy. She was roped into a lifetime job she didn't ask for and took it VERY SERIOUSLY. So romance for Caroline and Ric is just asking too much from the character

This is probably a joke.Firstly , he loves her only because she gave birth to his children , and that 's it . It 's not love .Secondly , she is not in love with him at all . And it 's not even like with Klaus . She is not in love with Klaus , but at least she was attracted to him , felt something, but Alaric .... She only wanted to marry him because of the children. Her true love is definitely Stefan and she did everything right

they arent a couple. alaric married a witch and she was pregnant with twins the witch was a member of a powerfull family when the oldest brother killed the family including ricks wife her father used his magic to save the babies and caroline was one of the only survivers thats why she was pregnants with the twins than

to people complaining about Alaric and caroline being together is creepy, you realize in the show the vampires are WAY OLDER IN AGE than Alaric and caroline. if it helps the woman playing caroline isn't really that young..and no I don't ship their relationship or her with stefan. I like characters together that have great chemistry and neither of those 2 men have it with her..

It's set three years in the future on TVD, the Originals is still in the present and it's not been confirmed what happened when the prophecy fulfilled - Hope will be older at this point, apparently season 4 of TO will show an older Hope (most likely aged 5/6 of the twins are 3 here)

A vampire huntress named Rayna Cruz had the power to mark vampires so she could track them down and kill them if they escaped. Bonnie was given the powers of Rayna so she became the new huntress. Bonnie marked Caroline so now she will chase her and try to kill her. There are a couple of blanks in there but the season in a little complicated to explain in a RU-vid comment. Best to watch it for yourself.

Jo was Alaric's soon to be wife and she was pregnant. she died and the babies were transferred to Caroline's body. Caroline got attached to the kids and couldn't let Alaric raise them by himself. (idek if that answers your question lol )
