Even Bonnie/Jeremy are thinking about where did Stefan go. And we see Elena not giving a single fuck about where is Stefan, when she's the main reason why Stefan left in the first place. Oh I feel so sad for him. Honestly, he deserves much better. And Bonnie....my heart just breaks every single time for her. 😭😭

One of the many reasons why I like season 5 so much is for sure Jeremy's relationship with Damon. Their scenes together always was one of my favourite, cuz I think they have amazing dynamic as a duo. But with this episode we can see their relation has grown more profound this season and I love that.

The show runner Kevin Williams wrote seasons 1-3 and most of 4. You may notice season 5 onward feels very different this is just an explanation why

In my head they're grouped s1-3 then s4-6 (my favourites and i think the peak of show - also less depressing than the rest of the seasons?) then s7-8 So yh for me s4-6 have very different vibes than s1-3

Stefan is Silas's doppleganger btw, not the other way around. Stefan is his shadow self because Silas is immortal remember and nature needed to find a balance by creating a version of Silas that could be killed. Glad to see Paul doing a different character, we can clearly tell the difference between Silas and ripper Stefan and of course on the wagon Stefan or in control Stefan now too, since Damon taught Stefan he needs to learn control, instead of always going to one extreme to another. Also NO that warnock Luca looks nothing like this new guy Jesse at all, only similarities they have is they're black and have shaved head, if u ask me lol & Glad u enjoyed the Damon and Jer hug, it's so beautiful seeing how worried Damon was and how much he cared and didnt give a damn about Jer losing Katherine. That scene is even more precious to me considering how Damon and Jer both couldnt care less about the other and be fine if the other died. Damon isnt friends with Jer, Jeremy is like Damon's annoying little bro he cant get rid of but cares about regardless of his relationship with his soulmate Elena.

Actually human Katherine is my favourite version (and i do feel kind of bad for her) but it's so interesting to truly see her personality put in such pressuring circumstances. How she navigates life as a human, her desperation to survive. It's the first time we see what she's really like without hiding behind a fake version of her and we get to see her vulnerabilities come to the surface. Even though vampire Katherine was fun to watch, I think the writers did a great move turning her human because it really does give the audience insight into what she's really like (also SPOILERS but i agree i have no sympathy for her later in the season as she's the cause of her own demise; even when given an opportunity at redemption she refuses to take it. There's really only one good thing she does this season - not leaving Nadia at the end- but people still pretend like she was a saint and deserved better lmao)

I love Paul Wesley playing Silas so much. He has some great humour. Bonnie is on the other side, her father wasn't supernatural so he won't be there. Watched this right after the last episode of tfatws, I feel that made me laugh more about the Matt being the winter soldier line 😆 When I saw the thumbnail my first thought was "intresting combination of the scene with you celebrating... gotta love it" 😄

Silas is Greek. Not Egyptian. Even if he was Egyptian, an interesting thing to note, however, is that the Greeks lived in Egypt for a very long time back then, even over 3,000 years ago. Another interesting thing to note, is that the Egyptian gods' skin color varies from white to black to red (according to the hieroglyphics), so the color of the citizens probably varied just the same.

Ok so i have a thing. If stefan keeps dying over and over that means he goes over to the other side and comes back no? Hes supernatural and then he dies? He could just go to jeremy when hes dead and on the other side since jeremy would be able to see him and let everyone else know. Idk im thinking too much ig. This thing isnt really used ever in tvd as ive seen but its a mind blower.
