You are the best TVD reactor for sure. You can see things that most people don't, like the fact that Elena said she doesn't know what love is. This is important for future events in her life.

This last three episodes are fire... I loved your insight in this reaction regarding the different ways both brothers reacted to the same situation. And I'm also torn with the way they chose to face the reality of Elena possibly dying. I understand both parties in that situation and I have qualms with both of them.

I don't think that Elena's speech here meant she loves Stefan less, tho I initially did upon first watch. However, I take it as that she must love Stefan so unbelievably much to have stayed with him and went thru all this even though her age and humanity no doubt had her imagining this type of future for herself all along I think that if Stefan could be human, she would want to live and grow together.

One of the things that bothers me about the stupidity of elena is she is all upset about "Not being able to have children as a vampire" is the fact that she only wants to be with Stefan...who is a vampire..who can't have children.. her whole arguement crumbles in on itself, whether she was human or not she couldn't have children unless she left Stefan, she gave up that choice by devoting herself to him, long before damon turned her, not to mention the pain she'd put Stefan through if she died of natural causes.

Even though i'm a crazy delena shipper, the look on Stefan's face when Elena is about to go with Klaus breaks my heart everytime I can'ttt it's so powerful 💔😭 kudos to the actor for delivering that perfectly, you can really see the love and pain in his eyes

Hi Sofia I love that you noticed the words Elena said to Stefan. In these simple words Elena has made it clear that she does not see herself in the future with Stefan, that at 17 she does not know that it is true love so it means that what she feels for Stefan is only adolescent love, affection in conclusion Stefan is not vital for Elena. Although she was very young, she began a relationship with a vampire who knows that one day she will not be able to give him children, that he will remain young, etc. and neither does she want to be a vampire to live together forever their love has desires that doesn't include Stefan and this means that Elena is neither in love with Stefan but she doesn't really love him, Stefan just came into her life when she needed of someone to cheer up after her parents die, she's very grateful she thinks she loves him but she doesn't and subconsciously she isn't fair to Stefan. Bella unlike Elena was in love with being a vampire and to live forever with Edward she wanted to become one even at the risk of becoming a monster she was sure of Edward's love, Bella is more like Damon who was in love with katherina vampire, she was preparing for become one, he was not afraid of her and accepted her for what she is. So that's why for me Stelena in addition to some romantic scenes and tenderness as a couple does not fascinate me because there is nothing else, neither negative nor positive. As for the love of both brothers for Elena I believe that neither Stefan is wrong nor Damon and I believe that more than aggression we say that the difference between the two is that Stefan loves romantic, Damon loves passionate, Stefan loves reasonably and Damon loves rationally. traits of their characters that differentiate them. Stefan has Damon's transformation on his shoulders by not respecting his choice so he too at that moment loved his brother selfishly but I adored him because unfortunately as I have already said we have to make difficult choices even if we go to meet those we love, so I don't open Stefan when he respects Elena's choices 100% and lets her do what he wants and he for fear of losing her and hating him like Damon did then he performs Elena as a dog more than as a boyfriend but when Klaus came to get her Stefan from the face I think he regretted doing nothing to save her from klaus. For me Stefan is not consistent with what he says, what he does and feels and I also believe that although Stefan loves Elena more than she loves him even for Stefan, Elena is not vital in her life and I think she loves Damon more than Elena because to save Damon from certain death he is going against him, against Elena he does not go if he loved her so much that he could not live without her he would have done what Damon did even if it were the second time he went against those he loves. If I believe that Elena is temperamentally very similar to Stefan and that with Damon they are opposites however Damon and Elena have a character trait that is very similar is what they are both terrified of losing those they love by both becoming anxious and consuming themselves internally until feel sick. Damon on hearing that the elixir cannot work he panicked and in shock, afraid of losing Elena loves her so much that he does not conceive a life without her he prefers that he hates him rather than knowing her dead and that he could live forever without her. Another point that I would like to specify is that perhaps this is the third or fourth time when he saves Caroline it is true that he saved her to ruin Klaus's plan for sacrifice but in the meantime the saved is this is the proof that he never had anything personal with her but that simply what she did to him in Season 1 was simply a victim of a vampire with no humanity. Another consideration is that everyone criticized Damon for killing Manson but the fact that Tayler bites her is proof that wolves are a real threat to vampires and when they are transformed whoever stands in front of them attacks without thinking twice. even if as humans they are friends with those vampires. So what Damon did with Manson was just protect his vampire species, in this episode Damon paid the consequences of having a wolf around, so Manson's killing wasn't right because Damon is bad but because sadly he was going. fact not beyond that Manson was also subjugated by katherina and was a real danger to Caroline, Stefan and him. Another thing to point out that even Damon knows how to sacrifice himself for those he loves when he no longer has to do to save and survive for him to sacrifice himself is the last resort and now he wanted to take advantage of that last resort but unfortunately he is no longer good for Klaus's sacrifice . A beautiful episode but the latter will be heart attack.

The way Damon loves Elena is different from how Stefan loves her. Damon would do anything to take care of her even if Elena hates him for it he would sacrifice his life for her.
