It’s really messed up and hypocritical what Caroline’s dad did. He basically used the same techniques they would use in conversion camps/therapy.

Klaus definitely likes Stefan genuinelly and seems to really want that brotherhood bond they had back, that's why he made him drinks so much and become ripped Stefan and that's most likely why he let Damon leave, Klaus may be annoyed by Damon and want to end him so hes out of the way, but he must want his friendship and side kick Stefan more. Klaus isnt stupid, and knows killing Damon wont help him win over Stefan, he wants Stefan to genuinelly want to be with him and not just their because of the deal they made.

Though Steroline and Steferine are a close second( my opinion) Sadly though none of them happened. Yes none of them not even Steroline line really because Stefan had to sadly die. I hated the ending a little. Like I understand Stefan dieing instead of Damon because hello martyr is Stefan Salvatore' s 2nd name. Him and Sam Winchester are the martyr's of fiction. But what I hated is when Stefan told Elena he was dieing Elena only asked "What about Damon?" Like I thought Damn! This guy who is one of your best friends is dieing and you instantly only ask about his brother? Not even caring about Stefan? Also they did Caroline dirty! No relationship with Stefan and none with Klaus because both had to f****** die! Why did everyone aside from Elena have a sort of happy ending? Bonnie didn't get enzo and Caroline didn't get her happy ending with Stefan or Klaus? Like why writers? Why!? (Btw sorry for this little rant of mine) Edit: Actually now that I think about Steferine a bit more I don't know how to feel about it. I mean I give Damon a lot of dislike because of him Raping Caroline but technically Katherine also raped Stefan. Hear me out. Remember when Katherine fed on Stefan during them sleeping together when Stefan was still a human? Stefan freaked out the next day after waking up which is why Katherine compelled him to not let the knowledge of her being a vamp change anything. The reason why I am confused with how I feel about the ship now is because even though she did this Stefan was actually in love with her. So does this truly qualify as rape or not?
