here's the thing i hated John in tvd, but once he died I SOBBED. He sacrificed his life for Elena because he loved her. In addition, Elena is now alone. I remember repeating that I would rather have someone i hate to raise me as a minor than to be lonely in this scary world. I sobbed so hard I started to clean my bed (which i don't ever do)

Actually to be fair Elena loving vampires isnt what put jenna and her family in danger this time at all. Elena would always be the doppelganger therefore Klaus would always come for her eventually. This is all about her being the key to break the curse so its not because she went with Stefan.

THE WAY I CLICKED INSTANTLY... this is the one I've been waiting for ♥ I'm so glad actually that you took note of how Jenna was their mother figure... I don't think it's note enough! We ALL liked Jenna, but for Jeremy and Elena, she was much more than the 'cool aunt'. She was the only legit guardian they had left at that point... it's super sad. Everyone always whines how Elena is always crying but like??????? It's a wonder she's sane as she is!!!! Also... WHY cut out the way John fell? It was really important :( THE FINAL SCENE between Stefan and Damon WAS SO POWERFUL. Stefan really looked HOPELESS asdfghjk. Also, yeah, the finale is really good but this was the top tier episode of s2!

Not a plothole cuz Bonnie's magic was holding him in a very weakened transition state while also weakening him further. Enough so that Elijah could pierce his chest with his fist. Like when the werewolf transforms, their bones break which means their bones need to temporarily weaken to break so easily, making Klaus's chest easily pierced by Eli's fist

I wish the writers had Elena say "I forgive you" to Jules before she died. Jules did try to kill Damon while Brady tried to kidnap Elena. Jules did that to prevent Damon from protecting Elena and get revenge for Mason's death. I get that Jules wanted to break the curse, but attempting to take Elena was wrong.

you can't forget that Elena is the Doppelganger, it's not that she chose to date a vampire and associate with other vampires and that's why this is happening. Rose and Trevor found her and got the word to Elijah, then Klaus found out about her. The only thing that mattered was when Klaus discovers her, she couldn't really impact that at all and she didn't even know about the curse and what it entails until a short time before she was sacrificed.

i don’t rlly like demon bc he is very abusive . his only character development is him showing he is “changing” for elena and showing he cares but that doesn’t stop him from hurting people . he is way more abusing than tyler . they both have character development in a way but damon doesn’t think and everyone jus forgives him bc his good looking

We know Damon is abusive, having unreasonable tamper tantrum, the mind of a 9 year old, selfish, manipulative, vindictive and a control freak because we are seeing beyond his looks. Also his character never really develops. Just that later in the show he is under Elena's leash and pretends care to which the instant she breaks his lil heart he is back to being his true self who kills for fun and to spite someone.

But oh well, YOU are the one loosing out on enjoying the most amazing and complex characters out there by not looking deeper than you do, so ... I enjoyed this episode so much. It sucked ass that Jenna had to die, but I was glad there were kinda consequences to their actions. I mean they did tried to kill Elija already twice by now (if he could die, he would be no more already. Although he forgave them I didn't, and payback is a betch). Everyone had been on Klaus' business, even though he had not yet done anything to them they were already plotting against him because of rumors. He is Klaus Mikaelson, the great evil, they've heard stories about him yet they still dared standing on his way just to save stupid Elena. We expected greatest evil and I was glad he delivered just that. But then I gained I watched TO first, maybe that is why I only cared about the originals more than the protagonists of TVD.
