Brendan just seems like a very genuine guy who could strike up a convo with anyone. He can play a wide variety of roles. He can be funny but also serious. I loved the Mummy movies growing up. He is a very underrated actor.
It’s BECAUSE they’re creeps that they preach on morality so much. The folks that are the loudest on issues often have the most skeletons in their closets
No wonder they are promoting all these political agendas that normalize every mental insanity and tolerance. As the video showed, they are people with no morals, drunk on their power. Worst of all, in any other country they would be given a death sentence for their pedophilic actions. Even the Saudi royal family, which does the most insane things with female escorts and influencers, would not have a single member recover from having so much evidence against them for pedophilia or homosexuality.

The sheer fact that there is such a thing as a statue of limitation for goddamn child rap3 says enough for me. It's not just hollywood, it's the whole damn government.
The 70s & 80s were very sexualized eras. Myself and other girls were SA'd by a couple of teachers in highschool and the administration just let us change homeroom, not take any action bc it was just the norm

@@veronica-mew and that's the sad part about it. That's why I cry every time I watch that scene it was like her and the dad were the only ones who had that common sense in that situation 😢
We need common sense and morality to make a comeback in the public sphere again. As someone who grew up in the 90s and 00s, seeing how quickly things have deteriorated in the 10s and continues to in the 20s makes me want decency and morality to come back again to the forefront. Stop with the corrupt hypocrisy that keeps making its way to the media.
Child victims unfortunately often surpass the statute of limitations by the time they report abuses from adults. That's why so many speak out in public, it's their only way to try and get some form of justice.
Brooke Shields is a great example of how everybody else tells you the abuse you went through is so bad and she should be broken and after embracing it and becoming a victim, years later she realizes they were full of it.
She has no issues with "Pretty Baby" and says it was the best experience she had making a film. The cast and crew were far more protective of her than her mother was. Brooke was heartbroken when filming ended because they became her surrogate family. I think we need to respect her viewpoint. It was her experience, not ours. Brooke did come forward a few years ago with a sexual assault she suffered in her early 20s at the hands of a Hollywood producer. I'm surprised that no one is talking about that
@@Nater99 so acording to you they shouldn't investigate the friends of a convicted s offender that wrote letter to his denfense, because Drake texted a minor 🤨
I blame both their immoral parents. They had a duty to look after their children and instead they exploited them to Hollywood just to line there own greedy pockets.
Have you all noticed that whoever dates famous celebrities don't actually talk about them later on? They sign a NDA for dating itself. Feels cult like.. example? Leonardo DiCaprio.
Anybody who wants a place of influence/power has to make an appointment with the couch first. It's probably old as time itself. The world has always been evil
Also, just because he was abused, doesn’t excuse what Drake Bell did. He has a history of questionable & illegal behavior with minors. The main reason he came forward about his abuse, was to direct attention away from his own inappropriate behavior & to recast him as a victim & not a predator

Happened to catch that episode (rarely watched the View) and found it horrifying how rude and accusatory Barbara Walters was toward him. It was pretty clear she was running defense for high powered abusers.
Moon and Critical drinker only ( in my point of view/my opinion) who are making RU-vid meaningful. Yes critical drinker and moon both are different but through video shows so courage to stand against wrong. Thank you so much ❤
Ohh, there are so much more. On the cultural side I like Chato, Disparu, Little Platoon, Nerdrotic, Critical Drinker and their friends the most. But there is so much more on this platform. Channels like Perun, PBS Spacetime or Metatron, to name a few very different ones.
Bro, they just have to hide from public for a few years waiting for everyone to forget, and Hollywood would celebrate their return. -cough- Woody Allen -cough- Roman Polanski -cough-
It happens everywhere. Both me and my wife have been sexually assaulted regularly by older kids in elementary school in unrelated incidents. Before that I was also physically assaulted by a teacher at that school, being thrown through the class room, ostracized and humiliated. These were public schools in the Netherlands. They just treated it as 'no big deal,' and 'kids will be kids'. Just be aware that it's all around you. Pay attention to your child if he/she is socially isolated or is "different", those are usually the victims. And finally, never think it's only men that do this. Women are capable of messing with your kids just as well. Like I said: It's everywhere. I know people with far worse stories you could ever imagine in your life.
@@mrmap4875 Not necessarily. We only found out as we got to know each other. It's not something you discus on the first date. But it does connect you in a strange way. @blidiotwoofghidiot3627 Het gaat nu, maar dat is een lange weg geweest. Ik ken veel ergere verhalen.
Pedophiles are found everywhere and in every single culture, no exceptions. And if there' s place where the child abuse rate is seemingly lower than others, remembee, it is only because people don't come forward to their abusers ir cases are ignored. Ex-network executive here. I was partnered with Alan Horne and Michael Klausman if you want to look up who they are/were. The entire industry is even worse than this and I'm afraid to break it to young ones who might think themselves immune to this, but online content creators whether its videos or streaming are JUST as guilty if not worse than Hollywood. The only difference is nobody is taking full inventory of the online models just yet (AI will change this). Between racial bias (mostly against white), s*xual preference bias (if you aren't gay and doing "favors", you aren't getting into most higher roles behind or in front of camera), and of course RAMPANT peedoughs that are all so rich and entangled, their families can get away with this stuff too. I also know and have tried to prosecute content creators that do the same stuff. I won't name their channels publicly because it might cause traffic to actually go to their pages (they should NOT be getting support in the form of views for their peedough sick shet), and because I was unsuccessful in the prosecution meaning I have to tip-toe around the topic even though the truth and the police/law agreed when they looked up their criminal records (extensive long history of r8p).
What does racial bias mostly against wh*tes mean? Like everyone on tv is white. At least in the US? They have specific channels for Black folks, and specific shows might feature a nonwhite cast but generally tv and movies are overwhelmingly white so I’m confused about what this means.
Well the OP is another casual white supremacist (this channel is run by one and tends to attract them) who wants to play the victim card while defending the predators like him. Who believes excluding and executing black and brown people will somehow bring an end to all of this. I highly doubt he is who he says he is, anyway. @@DaughterofDiogenes
I was also very shocked when the narrator said that Brooke was only 10 when she posed for Playboy. I was like hell no! Who would allow that to happen?!
13:10 That is just so sad. Victims often self-doubt if they were overreacting, but they really aren't. I hope Brandon Fraser will get better and be taken serious.
When a person is dehumanized, it shatters their self-confidence. I went through something similar. On the other side, I couldn't decide which shirt to wear....
Unfortunately, I don’t foresee that getting better anytime soon because society itself can be harmful to survivors of violent trauma. Telling a dude who was just SA’d to “man up”, berating a woman for crying when she just got punched in the face - these things happen literally everyday. How are we supposed to fight the mean voices in our own head when we’re just surrounded by bitterness on all fronts?
By the look on Brooke Shields' face; if Pretty Baby was the most proud work she has ever been in, then she's really been through it. Good on her for raising her daughters to have a moral compass.
This is crazy recently I was obsessed with the life of brooks shield after her documentary and found out how much she was taken advantage of because of her beauty it's truly sad she was the most beautiful girl in the world but her career was short lived..goes to show what happened in show biz
This is about little boys being abused not Brooke sheilds using the casting couch to get work. Big difference my dude. Just proved nobody cares about men's well being.
@@zameion90 it’s about child victims in Hollywood. Which Brooke shields was. What are disgusting thing to say about her using the casting couch to get work. She was a child taken advantage of by everybody, including her mother. You’re gross.
The world in the 1960s-1990s was f-ed up. Brooke Shields had it bad but European actresses had it much worse. Eva Ionescu was forced to do actual films which are still banned and nude art photography. She recently produced a film called "My Little Princess" which won a Cannes award. She too was pushed into this by her mother.
I was a victim of SA as a child and never talked about it or had anyone what even explain what happened to me until i was 21… the world can be cold af when we do not protect the innocence of our children. 👎🏾
I worked in the modeling industry for about 5 years and I can say that even at the lower levels of the modeling/acting/entertainment industry the sesual predation is nearly a constant and consistent obstacle one must navigate...however, it is also VERY LUCRATIVE and FUTURE GUARANTEEING if you are someone who has no qualms being a powerful persons 'bed slave'. I however, chose not to allow the men who like men to get their way with me or how they would put it all the time, "you just watch, im gonna make you gay someday" It was always said in a 'playful' manner but also in a very matter of fact way as well. I can only imagine the HORRORS that these big time actors and models have to be put in, pressured by, or even forced into situations. I am so glad I stuck to my Christian beliefs, believed in myself, worked hard to get as far as I did on my own talent and hard work. I eventually experienced enough of the uncomfortable experiences and pursued college instead.
Hollywood during the 80's and 90's were the wild west, and we were barely told anything because the same people who ran Hollywood was the same ones who owned all magazines and newspapers. So they would write hit pieces on child actors instead of running the story of how they were raped by profucers, i'll never forget how journalist would write about Britney Spears when she was 15-18 year old. Im just happy that people are starting to hold Hollywood accountable, my faith in humanity grows every time the younger generations are outraged at the exposing of predictors and perverts un the entertainment industry. Its definitely something my generation and those older could learn from, the victims deserve justice no matter how long ago it was
Brendan Frasier paying 900k in alimony is awful i dont know that we are actually loved from the women in our lives in my personal life even my own mother i had to pay just to keep her from tormenting me idk i know its not all but ive seen this too many times happen to regular people for it to be ignored anymore to ladies reading this who love their kids and husband's even when they are at their lowest know you are angels and i hope you know how special you are
A lot of us did not know how badly Brooke Shields was exploited because she kept quiet for most her life. Only someone recently has she talked about the manipulation and abuse, and not just in childhood but well into her 30's.
Is anyone going to mention the false information during the start of the Drake Bell segment? The Amanda show was before Drake and Josh, both shows were Nickelodeon, not Disney. It seems pretty imperative to be 100% accurate during discussions of a topic as significant as this. It makes it easy to make the argument "if he got something that small wrong, what else is wrong?"...
Watching Corey Feldman continually be insane and cringe (musically and in general) Is like a bizarre train wreck you can’t look away from. He clearly experienced the horrible abuses child actors can be subject to, but he’s also kindof a douche. I feel even worse for Corey Haim, just destroyed by it all, dead before 40 from drugs. Hell people under 30 prob have no idea who either of them are, despite being such huge film stars at one point.
I find Brendan Fraser’s story so heartbreaking, but inspiring. He was publicly embarrassed and bullied by everyone, and he had to work so hard to regain his confidence, and his career.
Corey Haim deserved a place here too and not in the afterthought shadow of Corey Feldman..he was suffering extreme sexual abuse and there always seemed to be tension between the two over who suffered more....
I agree, but I think since he’s not here to tell his story himself we will have a hard time getting people to come out of the woodworks and speak up. And now i don’t know what Feldman knew. I just (again lol) think that he doesn’t wanna talk in his place maybe. I can also imagine tension between the two because both was assaulted. Not in what way but definitely possible. I could never survive Hollywood if it was me. They didn’t deserve this. 🩵😔
Poor Drake Bell it can’t be easy playing a show with a happy family when your real life family has issues. Plus everything else going on. Hope all these people have found some peace
The parents are a big part of it. I was horrified when I read what Brooke Shields mom put her through. She even consented to her posing nude at age 7 in a magazine owned by Playboy. It was published in France. Absolutely sickening. These people do nothing to protect their kids. All they see is dollar signs.
How many careers has Darren Aronofsky re-ignited? Hollywood wastes so much talent. In 'The Wrestler' Aronofsky went to the refuse pile and got Marisa Tomei and Mickey Rourke. Both used up and thrown away after being big stars. It's insane.
0:17 I let out an audible “ohhhh no” when you mentioned Corey Feldman. I can hardly blame the guy for going off his rocker due to what Hollywood did to him as a child…. Good first pick! Hopefully Shirley Temple makes the list so folks recognize this is a problem that’s existed for quite awhile now!
