Toga having a tablet while everyone has a laptop is just so cute for some reason. Like, everyone is doing work while she might be playing games instead
Everyone's gangster until everyone realized that everything that happens in BnHA is a part of a plan of Some Dude with Black Clothing and Stuck on a Chair. That dude is known as Chair Sama.
I feel like the joint training arc could have been done in a lot fewer episodes. It would give us more time to properly expand the more important stuff that happens later in this season.
I think it was done for a reason. It's the last really lighthearted arc before we get into the darker stuff. Making it longer makes sense for that reason
Given how anime viewers can see that these characters are in league with the...League, it'll make seeing how these characters met the League rather jarring.
I thought I understood the need for the arc switch but the further we progress with the unexplained plot points the less I like it. Having the entire MVA arc as a flashback and people needing to fit these puzzle pieces into place afterwards was a bad idea, on par with some of the Public Safety Commissions plans.
I lost interest in the anime a long time ago. Lately, I've been manga only. Maybe I'll watch the anime again someday, but for now, I'll just stick to manga only.
I too read the manga and the latest chapters are fire... But I never stopped watching the anime because the anime is truly a different experience with the osts and stuff
I personally feel like the slow pace is right instead of skipping too much and It works well for me personally to get to be able to watch more episodes and that means more time for anime yk
Yeah exactly, like people are just trying to make a rush of things and just wanna skip to seeing something Gruesome and violent when we need to see the events that get there first, I honestly enjoy the slow pacing because it gives you the opportunity to process everything in each episode that transpires and adapted from the manga into the anime, I can’t be the only one who doesn’t have a problem with this, I honestly felt and thought that the arcs being switched is better than not having MVA arc being adapted into the anime at all and then just get into the war arc, we just gotta take the little win!
The problem is that if it goes too slow then the later MVA arc will have to cut some content. If it starts on episode 18 then we might be ok but I'm not sure with next week's episode
ultimatily your right but it also sucks that by the time the filler episode and the next 2 episodes after finish the endeavor arc theyll only be 7 episodes left, i wish they had just given us the story in the order it was in the manga. it will seriously feel like a rip of if they leave this season before mva properly gets going or if the rush through it
@Frieza1500 the pacing of this season leaves me a little sad tho. The Villian arc is so important and needs to be the arc that should be fleshed out but I think the extended the a vs b arc because of the movie. It took them 13 episodes to complete an arc that should've lasted 9 tops. Dont get me wrong after season 6 airs the war arc and I can rewatch all of this again I'll like having the extra time with these characters but it sucks we have to wait a full year for this to be satisfying
@@l1m0b0at3 it wasn't 13 episodes. JT finished in 10 episodes not counting the recap episode. There was a part of MVA that was adapted then it went to endeavor agency.
I've been saying these movies need to stop. I'm happy the actual fight budget hasn't been hurt for this season but God the flash backs this season are rough. That said I'd rather watch any of season 5's fights than season 4s Lemillion v overhaul slide show. They did my boy dirty in order to make the movie good and I'm not happy about it.
Poor Shoto. He can travel on high ground like the rest. He could by using his flames to fly like endevour but I guess not. But im very glad that he started using his flames and ice to go faster on ground.
I think the studio should take MHA at close to medium speed. Meaning make some parts of the MHA manga be adapted to anime and leave the rest of the non-importants in the manga. Basically the studio should try to avoid making the mistake that Naruto Shippuden made. As for the films the studio shouldn't push out films unless it is necessary to help progress the series because I feel like as you said before the MHA team is stretching themselves and the series a bit too thin which is taxing on the creator/writer and everyone else.
@@nightrunner4817 somewhat true. But it's for the best. It's like this. Say for example Kill la Kill, the series ended on a good conclusion but fans want a sequel or another season of the series. Should the creator/writer work on a sequel and/or season for the fans or just leave the series where it's at on its conclusion? The correct answer is to leave it where it is. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. It's best to leave the decision making to the creator/writer instead of the community.
It's interesting how AM is always mentioned as a natural when it comes to him using his quirk and being a hero. We hear that for Endeavor, Aizawa, GT, Deku too, and even AM himself (among many others).
Yes I agree, as a BIG fan of mha; I’m talking knowing everyone in class 1A first name last name. I am getting tired of the slow pace I feel like it’s even slower than season 1.
If anyone is worried about the retracting that season 5 has done similar to the jump from season 1-2, it should be all the more reason that everyone should be excited for season 6. If the next arc to be animated is disappointing then we can riot, otherwise I say we wait until we see what they can do before jumping ship.
hi !! thank you for youR video. as a fan I dont care how slow the anime is going. as long as they dont fall into drama romance or freaking aliens. (like naruto/boruto) MY HERO ACADEMIA IS AND WOULD BE THE BEST ANIME TO GROW UP WITH.
I agree with you... I'm a little worried that they are relying too much on flash backs that we already know. And I'm a little worried for MVA. Are they gonna do that in "flashback"? Because the real time event seems to have occurred 😶
and i really wanted to see those manga chapters animated well guess the fight for the broker and th eliberation front aint coming also earning gigantomachias respect- also shigarakis long hair
I'm rooting for Endeavor becoming a person Todoroki can like. He gave off a near villainous impression early in the series but seeing how good he is at what he does, and trying to be a better person to is great.
I think the movies have killed the anime's quality. The anime used to be improving on the manga, but everything post-Kamino (with the possible exception of the School Festival arc) has been significantly worse than the manga (the pacing has worsened, the animation seems lazier, the OST replays tracks inappropriately (like giving class B the Vanguard Action Squad theme in the Joint Training Arc) instead of producing new and incredible tracks (that used to be one of the series's strongpoints). This latest season is the worst of all. The reordering of key events only to fit with a movie's release date has seriously harmed the impact of the skipped arc, and with a filler episode coming up, now I have to worry about them rushing my favorite arc from the manga. Bones is prioritizing the movies, and the anime and the anime-only viewers are left for the worse. MVA is (by page count) longer than both other two arcs this season combined Joint Training and Endeavor Agency are longer, but still. I really don't want a repeat of the Overhaul arc (probably the worst adapted arc so far, the manga version is one of my favorites). It just already feels like they've fucked it up.
@@Mila-cq4tn Pacing wise: they stretched out parts that didn't need stretching out and they condensed things that didn't need condensing. More Importantly, the highlight for the arc (in the manga) is by far the Mirio vs Overhaul fight (y'know that slideshow from episode 74 that didn't even include the fact that Mirio fought off Overhaul for 15 whole minutes, five of which he was quirkless for). It's hard to describe exactly what was wrong aside from that, but there is a reason the arc is a fan-favorite amongst manga readers while it's not looked at too fondly by anime-onlys (at least from what I've seen).
@@Joenah5 The slideshow was anime original though. In the manga it was just a black panel with the 5 minute narration then cut to him standing over Eri.
@@Biostar96 a slideshow in a manga is fine since everything can be considered a slideshow... That doesn't apply to an anime. ESPECIALLY one like my hero, an anime known for its fluid and stellar animation. I was disappointed as hell during the mirio fight, they really used all their resources on the Midoriya vs overhaul fight when mirio's fight was just as or even more important than izuku's fight
The weirdest thing about this anime/manga is the idea that there would be few superheroes as there are in this type of society which openly supports them as a career choice. It feels like Japan has 500 pro heroes when in reality it should have tens of thousands at this point.
Fuck BONES! Not only did they changed the order of the arcs, but now they're gonna waste our time even more with an anime original next week? When there's only 9 episodes left? Either they're gonna entirely cut the Villain arc, or they're gonna cut the shit out of it, cause the Agency arc still needs minimum 2 episodes to wrap up, so that means they'll have to squeeze the Villain arc into 6 episodes If they did all this just to promote the film, I'm definately boycotting it! It doesn't even look that interesting, it's just a discount war arc without any of the risk, development, and drama, and the villain's plan is literally the same as Hachisuka in the spin-off Vigilantes
@Plot Armor If some one came up with a really good Original quirk, would you go over it in a video or nah? Just curious because I have one in one of my Fanfics that is unlike any that anyone had made up. So I was just curious if you guys where interested in that or not. I’m fine with either I just thought I’d ask.
Totally agree with you regarding the pacing. It’s been a bit disappointing watch season 5, after looking forward to it to finally come out. It’s a bit concerning.
Bro, this episode is a new favorite. I know there isn’t much action, but man. The dialogue in this is awesome. @Plot armor. I think that you should make a video about the outcomes of Deku vs class 1-A. I have my own thoughts too.
Being a manga reader, I for one don't mind the slow pace being used again. I think it's needed, with what is coming around the corner (at breakneck speed)
