Hate to say this, but his culture considers stealing to be okay if done against someone who has something they don't have, as if it's for some "eternal reward". When we've dealt with his folks we very often find that they've tried to con us on giving change, or even later claiming they were "shorted" on how many they got.
I'm not sure 1.9 million subscribers and a profitable small business is "a problem", like this guy's alcoholism is WAY more of a problem... I don't think standing there all day while having a huge monitor in front of you with instant playback capability could possibly be "exhausting". Seems like you have a penchant for the dramatic.
Actually, he did try to be sneaky by frequently glancing at the camera with a mysterious expression on his face while committing petty crime. As if he gained invisibility for a second there. Drinking and thieving 👏🙄

I moved from the inner city to the suburbs and I had this habit of looking up at the counter just to see which girl was working. And then I noticed that they started to follow me around when I was shopping. That stopped once I stopped looking at the counter. It's clearly a sign for them, it's a potential thief, a red flag.
As an army vet, him wearing that hat while stealing really pisses me off. His wife has obviously been through this before, I can tell by how upset she is. He was hiding it from her as well.
For me it's weed. I smoked almost every day from the age 17-24 and now I've been without it for 8 months. I miss it sometimes but I feel good without it
That guy was 100% walking like that on purpose so that he wouldn't seem suspicious walking like that afterwards trying to keep his pants from falling down from all the extra weight

He's probably one of those idiots that believe all store have fake security cameras. Still, even from the counter I'm sure it looked painfully obvious.
Couldn’t help but feel badly for the woman with him. It seems like the man may have had some major issues and she’s been doing damage control for him for quite awhile…truly sad that she’s relentlessly apologizing even though she did nothing wrong. I know she’s trying to prevent him from getting in trouble, but it still doesn’t undermine the fact that he’s now become her burden.
Her staying there apologizing when being told explicitly to leave? I wish both of them had been arrested, thrown in jail for a solid time then deported
New sub who just binged watched a ton of Gas Station Encounters. What I’ve learned to not look suspicious: 1)do not greet the clerk 2)do not look at the camera 3) do not scratch or touch nose 4)do not wander 5)do not ask dumb questions and 6)do not stare at the handmade sandwiches no matter how delicious they look! That should cover it.

Probably works in a hospital or something. People will come into hospitals huffing and puffing for one reason or another so she's probably used to it at this point
Honestly it was nice to have the cashier not call him names even tho the guy was totally in the wrong. I love these videos and it was refreshing seeing the cashier being more relaxed and not calling the thief a bunch of names
I also manage a gas station in the Northeast, and I deal with this regularly. The company I work for has very strict guidelines, so I definitely live vicariously through you guys while I do my best to stay professional and minimally polite 😂
Are you serious? If so, get him some psychiatric help because this kind of behavior for a man his age, besides being juvenile, is obviously related to a bigger issue he hasn't dealt with. Maybe he needs more stimulation/excitement in his life so he won't commit petty theft for the thrill.
Okay, I just watched this episode a couple more times, and now that I am paying more attention to the details, it is even funnier than before. I like the part where the thief walks back in and tries to lie about already paying for those vodkas! 😛 He is like the most brazen thief in G.S.E. He showed absolutely no shame at all for stealing. Lol
@@MrArgus11111 I highly doubt that. South Asian women don't drink alcohol in general. And I don't think she would risk committing the offense for a cheap vodka bottle. The dude must be hiding it from her, so he can drink secretly without getting her wrath for alcholism.
