Yep. She held it sideways like a gangster too lol 😂. I'm 30 and carry everyday everywhere and hate seeing people mishandle firearms. And putting themselves and others in a bad situation by how they handle things.
That poor guy in India thought he was about to see a guy get smoked by a cashier over a piece of candy. Can totally hear the panic in his voice when he's begging him to cooperate with the cashier!
this interaction didn't happen in a vacuum. rampant criminality (incentivizing overreactions to crime) + increased social atomization (lack of connection to community) + culture that prioritizes the lives of men incredibly low (disincentivizing lawful behavior) + stagant wages, rampant inflation and diminishing purchasing power of the US dollar (incentivizing overreactions to stealing) + a dozen other factors. Expect to see way more of this as the Venezuelafication of America continues
nah ppl like you need to pattern up fam if you treat the business well they will treat you well in time of need. its also proof that ppl who think like you stay less in the same business for a few years
@@alik4325 I think anyone should be proud of what they do for a living, regardless of what it is. But the business ain't gonna take care of her if shit goes south, man. She's at the bottom of the totem pole.
I worked at a gas station for 17 years and we were trained to not confront any thief. We were to get plate numbers and a description and the time the incident took place. That kinda thing can turn on you so quickly
I’m all for justice, but between the heater, ignoring all the paying customers, and involving the cops over a $2 candy bar, I’m not sure this was the best Fav Trip business decision ever.
If that cashier would have shut up and listened to what the security guy was saying she would have known he was in the bathroom but no she ran around like a mad woman yelling
I don't really blame her. Holding it and pointing it at the door and him is absurd but having one on you when confronting someone behind a closed door who's just stolen something isn't. There are very stupid petty criminals who will really quickly up their charges from a misdemeanor to multiple felonies for no reason.
It'd be funny if he got confused which job he was doing and tried to scam the guy. Eye in the sky: I'm calling from Microsoft.... oh wait he took candy.
Risking your life over Laffy taffy is insane..especially calling the police. The employee was off the rails. The eye kept saying he was in the bathroom and she wasn't listening I knew he was gonna eat or flush it after she pounded on the 🚪
Damn she must be getting paid pretty good to pull a firearm on someone for a piece of candy! She is lucky the guy was more scared than desperate to get away he had plenty of chances to take it.
True but it could have been. What if the dude was violent and tried to attack? She was just preventing that from happening. I've seen people beat other people for a lot less than candy
That cashier needs to be charged clearly shouldn’t have a hun with how unstable she is. Threatening somebody’s life because of candy? Put her in the crazy hospital
Good video, but it's like did we really need to get the cops involved cause a dude went to the bathroom with a Laffy taffy? lol like I'm sure the police have better things they could be doing.
This whole situation is absolutely hilarious. From the dude with the heavy accent just simply being omnipresent, to the cashier pulling the stick on him for a piece of candy, I think sometimes real life is a parody of itswlf.
Job's not worth risking your life or safety for someone stealing 2 dollar's worth of candy or anything else not important, if she gets hurt they don't care, she's replaceable to them.
Waste of Police time. Phone operator should have just said "Let the guy go and file a report with Crimestoppers". Anything under $500 is not worth calling Police over.
As a tax payer, I am upset my tax dollars went to 2 officers to respond to a piece of candy being stolen. $0.50 piece of candy just turned into a few $100 in tax dollars. Then to think that deadly force was considered over a piece of candy is the cherry on the top.
Agreed. Probably a shooting going on somewhere, yet police offers are called to a conv. store over a $2 piece of candy. Worst Gas Station Encounters video ever.
bro im sry but thats not how it goes,, its not 100$ ,, they r already paid for they job,, and they were probbably just crusing around,, so i hope that u r joking lol
as a manager of a gas station who also carries, i'm upset that she made the rest of us look like shit. she's so lucky that stolen candy didn't evolve into a stolen firearm and/or a homicide.
I love y’all’s videos, they are all funny af and I completely support what y’all do. But this shit was too far.. pullin a dam strap over a candy bar? That’s too much.
@@lisao7600 if it was, still that’s just not the right call. It’s a self defense weapon, and I get it that she isn’t having her life threatened.. but again… over a candy bar.. Now if it was like over some high dollar stuff, or someone was straight shovin piles of stuff in their bag, (candy, sodas, etc), then yeah I could maybe see that being an understandable response. Cause at that point, that’s more than just someone grabbin a candy bar and going to the bathroom to eat it.
@@DoctoralPhilbert I agree with everything you said. I'm just curious if it was a taser or real. That would be crazy it she were pointing a lethal weapon all over the place.
Someone needs to have a talk with her or she isn't going to be alive very much longer. Standing almost point blank range away from someone and then looking away is a horrible idea. And she actually had the pistol turned sideways 😂She must have taken her firearm training from her daughter's cousin's sister's 2nd baby daddy.
Negative, all that needs to be proven is that he exerted “unauthorized control over their property” and had “intent to deprive the owner of the use or value of the property” if a store can prove those two things, a person can be charged with theft while still inside a store.
@@jerrydixon Placing the item in his pocket and going into the bathroom shows shows both unauthorized control and intent. You don’t need to be a mind reader to read someone and know the signs of theft.
Lol,... all this over "a piece of candy"...this is unintended comedy, happening right before our eyes...thanks gas station encounters, for making me chuckle today with all the weirdos that pass thru your store
What i took from this video is that cashier needs sacking & possibly arresting for wasting police time ! By far the worst example of security i’ve ever seen.
this woman is lucky, she turned arround like 100 times with the head etc. it could be a very dangerous situation...someone said she is 100% trained, lel, never, maybe 1,2 hours and some tips from movies, but not real training, she could be dead, so next time, maybe not that close
When taking your job too serious gone wrong .WTF over something probably no more than a dollar. This lady you can tell hates her job and all the customers, waiting for the right moment to smoke one of them
I love watching these videos, but I feel her reaction is totally wrong. Yes, you can see clear as day he was stealing or going too. However, he did not leave the store yet to accuse ? This is based on assumptions now & that’s not ok. Even though, it is clear as day what his attempt was going too be , however he did not leave the store yet ! So it’s not stealing , yet 😅. This is probably the most heartbreaking video I’ve seen yet & I have seen & watched allll.
