What I really love about Sam is that he's so humble. He always makes sure that everyone who helps him perform is being appreciated before he does.

Whether he would be classified as a singer or not. hands down he is one of if not the most MOST talented performer I have seen in years.. Do you realize how complicated is it to create all those sounds with your own voice, work them together and still have the voice to sing so phenomenally. He is freaking AMAZING!!!!!

So sad how Boy George wanted him in the beginning then when he realized Sam could win he had attitude! Sam is so much more then just a singer or a musician, he's a fantastic entertainer!

he not only does amazing looping, but damn, that voice is something that not many people have taken into consideration, like he got an angel and at the same sharp hard voice, cmon, he deserved it for sure

His performance of Bohemian Rhapsody was like a freakin’ concert.

I am dreaming. This young man can not be real. He goes on stage and change all rules of The Voice. I am 100% sure, this man makes his way. Sam is like Pink Floyd, it is impossible to copy them 100%. That is awesome what he delivers in his young age. And give AP his own songs and he goes the same way. You can feel it through your monitor that this men loves what they are doing. In Australia the future of music is safe i think.

I love when Sam battles AP and they do Sympathy For The Devil. Sam using his beatboxing and loop station blends so well with AP playing guitar. If you listen and see, Sam even loops AP's guitar playing with his station and it's really cool how they work together. I'd love to hear a full cover. I also like how they both use different styles of microphones which reflects their styles a little bit.

as a beatboxer/looper i can say that i am (and the whole community) really proud, that he shows how great our hobby is :)

He's good. The entertainment value he brings to the show is crazy. The lights and beats are awesome. I'd definitely go to his concert

He is so original. He is singing and performing. And he is able to pull off so many different styles. He is amazingly talented.

Not sure what's more amazing. All the talent and artistry put into just the looping. Let's not forget he can really sing too.

Since the voice I have gone back and watched his original content. If anyone deserved to win it was him. There are a lot of people out there that have great voices but sound just like 100 different people with great voices. Sam can sing and he has a very distinctive voice which sets him apart just by his voice. Add in his ability to create music from nothing but his own voice and his ability to put sounds together to create something so inspiring and so unique. Is he a musician, is he a singer, is he a DJ. I would say yes to all. He deserved to win.

I keep coming back to him. Just so good. A huge compliment to the stage production and lighting team. They knew from his first performance how to push his performance to the next level.

I remember Adam Lambert coming out each week and we were all anxious to see what spin he put on a song we all knew. This guy took it to another plane. Are there 1000 voice contestants worldwide that are better pure vocalists...sure. What he did was so much next level from what we expect to see on these shows. The song choice, the vocal beds, the singing, the arrangement, the staging...it all adds up into something special even compared with the best pure vocal performances. Guessing the American version doesn’t allow this, but he would have won here as well.

the best part is seeing that people are so into something, they give it their all when doing it. thats what counts

Pretty crazy, thats some insane talent, i don't see how hes controversial, sure his voice isn't the stand out part of his performance but he demonstrates more vocal ability then any of the performers just singing, his voice is by no means behind the other competitors when hes normally singing but he goes beyond to use it to build background music for a song often rebuilding the song to suit his style which is more then any of the other performers can say since 90% are just singing covers to the key of the original which won't really get you anywhere, you need originality if the voice, idol, got talent are anything to show theres plenty of people who can sing just as well as you, so singing a mirror cover of the original won't get you anywhere in the industry.

Sam is a fantastic singer. Take that Booy George. Each set I hear gives me goosebumps. DAMN SAM, he is the most talented individual from all the BGT, AGT, THE VOICE, whatever show. Good God it's so emotional, you just feel it right through your entire body. He has changed the entire music industry single handedly.

Just came across this after watching his blind. Had to watch the whole thing. The last time I heard something that turned music on its ear like this was the early 90s when NIN (Trent Reznor) started up. Absolutely blown away. If he has this kind of touch with any original stuff its gonna be amazing.
