As of my understanding, a monk and his ordained vows is his personal choice and has nothing to do with any other individual. It is completely a personal choice for one’s benefit to his path of liberation or study. If any individual is bothered is clearly an ignorant believer who just believes anyone without proper knowledge of how to seek guru or knowledge from whom and why. Robes doesn’t make a person better or worse. It is just a representation to show his or her personal status of path. Person’s educational knowledge makes one capable to do guru dharma or not. Guru dharma is not to be prideful of but a duty of responsibility. Now a days, everyone chose to be a guru not knowing how much responsibility it takes to build a human foundation. Wrong purposes guru has it’s consequences whether you are roped or disrobed.
