The Chinese being shocked to see a black person is not offensive to me personally because i can tell that, that is actually their first time being that close or touching a black person. They seem to be quite sheltered in China.
There are blacks all over the world. China interact with Africa, the carribbean a lot. Also many Indians and Asian countries have blacks darker than African. Sorry to say that woman was pretending. If their educational system teaches geography, then questions such as those should not come up. The second largest continent with 1-2 billion people are not hiding. On the other hand, seeing extremely black person with bluish hue like some people of Sudan or extremely white person from Europe is intriguing and unique. Makes one take a second look and be in awe of this wonderful and intelligent Creator of ours, not asked silly questioning. Blessings 😊.

Everything seemed unfamiliar to him, and he even spoke in his local language, asking questions about things like light bulbs. This experience highlights how exposure can help broaden perspectives.
One would think that basic education would result in people knowing about melanin and differeycharacyeristics of skin. It is surprising that there may be a significant number of people walking about that are completely ignorant about racial differences. My question is, what is going on with education in China.

please that is not racism just shocking first experience. it is common is far east ASIA where black skinned people have never being sighted. An igbo female teacher in a Chinese school said her first time in classroom the children were afraid because they she is wearing a full skin masking costume. however after a year, now the same children other always seek for her. know it that the first white skinned man Becky rescued from the river in Igboland after his ship wrecked was thought to be a leprosy and the infection was put on him be the sea goddess as punishment.
I don't think this is racism. In the same way, black people are curious about Albino. You can see their body language, they have never seen dark-skinned people before, I'm sure they don't know there is a black race. In another video, some are impressed to see a black person speaking fluent Chinese language and are friendly towards them. Search for black men speaking Chinese in China, there are a few of them.

I know how much we are envied with our black skin.
