“Blind Owl”, for those of us who don’t know it....was the name of Canned Heat’s singer.

Hi Jerry. true, but I did not use it to reference Al. I use it as a nickname for a long time and for a few other projects I work on. When started using it I forgot about the Canned Heat reference. It's refreshing to know that someone remembers Canned Heat and Al "Blind Owl" Wilson. RIP.
