Can we just agree that Samantha Morton MURDERED it as Alpha? What a sensational villain. We all loved to hate her and she'll definitely be missed. One of, if not THE BEST, villain in the entire series. Or even TV history.

Grimes kids have it rough. Carl was so young when he had to kill Lori, and now Judith had to take care of Earl. Daryl sitting next to Judith is a callback to when Rick had to bite the scavenger's neck to protect Carl and sat next to him afterwards.

Alden killed Mary because she didnt wanted to walk with the whisperers as a Walker. So he killed her instead of Beta because she wanted that

Yeah but....the Mary corpse wasn't going to sprint into the woods if Alden would have shot the huge menacing evil second in command of the dudes that just tore up Hilltop and killed your friend Earl. Alden could have killed both and been a hero. Now though, Alden's going to be responsible for every death that Beta incurs on his way to Alexandria.

So happy Angela Kang kept the Negan-Alpha adaptation close. I've been waiting to see this get adapted on TV for years wondering how they'll do it without key players from the comics. The only missed opportunity was Negan saying: "Wait til Carol gets a look at you".

Remember last episode when Judith saw the hanging zombie, she later told to Daryl they were just walkers. Then Daryl said, no they aren't just walkers (because they probably used to be hilltoppers). When she was forced to kill zombie earl, that is where she understood what Daryl meant.

I think it's fantastic that Negan tried to the very end and believed that he would be able to dig into Alpha's feelings and help her get back on the right track. This proves how valuable he is a human being after all.

That was one of the best episodes of the series from beginning to end. I saw Negan killing Alpha coming a mile away, I read the comic book, but the revelation that Negan had been working with Carol the whole time was a shock. Though it does make sense when you think about it.

This show has gone from strength to strength recently, omg what a frigging good episode. I was so happy yet so sad about Alphas death. happy because yay our people and sad because man she was the best dam villain I have ever seen. She owned every moment she was on screen and took this show to a new level, she was terrifying! Amazing show and Yay Team Negan and Carol lol

It's highly possible Alden was aiming for Beta but missed and hit Mary. It was a long distance and to use a bow effectively even has an expert archer you need some practice shots to adjust accordingly. It's amazing he even managed to hit anything.

I actually cried when Alpha died during her and Negan scenes/talks. . He was trying so hard to change her mind. He didnt want to kill her. I think she reminded him of himself & lucille with her bald head. They both genuinely liked each other, u can see it. He tried to it Rick's way but Alpha was too messed up unfortunately. She did love Lydia in her own way... Wonder how Beta will react and he will probably find her headless body... the ending must mean Carol set him free doesnt it?

@@treyfromtheland3385 I mean, Carls death, Rick being gone, Ezekiel still being alive, Rosita and her child still alive, Rick having a romantic relatioship with Michone (Rick/Andread) and (Michone/Ezekiel), Andrea never made it into Alexandria, Carol is way older than she should have and is still alive, Rick never lost his arm, Lydia romance ark was completly tossed aside atc. I could go on and on like this forever. PS: Daryl and Judith! Two of the biggest changes to the lore. Judith was suppose to die with Lori in the prison and Daryl is just a shows addition.. Which means that both of these characters are immortal in the story..

If you guys watched Fear you'd know the Easter egg they spilled. Beta is a famous country singer, this his voice/face are recognizable. In the comics he's a famous basketball player/also known for being in commercials. He never removes his mask because people would recognize him.

Everyone I’ve watched as well as my dad was like Alden should have shot Beta and I was like yeah but he would have probably missed and Beta would have either ran towards them and easily killed Alden, Adam and Kelly or Alden would have told Kelly to take Adam and run while he tried and failed to kill Beta.

A H Beta fell down an elevator shaft and got shot by Judith he’s a literal tank right now his plot armor will probably extend into season 11 and he will fall in the season 11 mid season or close to it. I still feel like Beta is going to die by the hands of Aaron, Daryl and Negan maybe Aaron and Daryl start off in a 2 V 1 on Beta and Beta starts kicking their asses and then Negan joins in and they all beat on Beta and then when he’s weak. Beta does his comic moment where he screams pls don’t unmask me just kill me and then Negan unmasks him b4 he dies then beta screams and drops dead.

Remember when Negan first joined the Whisperers and was walking with Beta and he told him "it's something about that bald head that just tightens my britches"! I think some things about he reminded him of his dying wife the bald head especially and he kissed her at the end probably like he did with his dying wife. I must say.....Samantha Morton acted her character to the very end! Very memorable acting the entire seasons she played Alpha! And yes....the answer to Beta being known is in an episode of this last season of Fear the Walking Dead! That's all I will say! Hahaha!

This episode was great. I didnt understand the Beta bit either until I read these comments. Also found the breakup scene a bit misplaced but other than that it was great. Also the scene and acting between Earl and Judith was incredible.

Beta is a true believer and that's way worse. You heard Negan, Alpha pretended to be empty and an animal, but she was not. She was rational, just a warlord in times of war that, as Ezekiel, did some story to put some people together, but as the king, she didn't believe it, not the whole thing, but she tried. That's why Negan tried to redeem her, he asked her like three times if she was about to kill her daughter before really murder her. Alpha was a rational threat, Beta is way different. He REALLY believes that now they are all animals. Now it will be war. And it will be nasty.

Negan also needed Beta as far away as possible for his plan to work b/c if Beta were around and Negan did all this. Negan wouldn’t have been able to kill Alpha and if he still managed to kill her. Beta would have murdered him and then either killed or recaptured Lydia then unleashed his wrath on the communities.

I LOVE Marquetta(idk how she spells it, lol I used the hood spelling) Thanks for being the Only 1 to get it... The Whisperer said he'd thought he'd recognized his voice meaning previously, but Beta NEVER takes off his mask, now that a big chunk of it is missing the other whisperer put the voice to his face and said he Thought that was him as in he Recognizes him from b4. Beta doesn't like that! If he just wasnt supposed to be spotted he wldnt have initially trie to walk Away from dude, he Only killed him when he knew dude Knew who he Really was/used to be. That's what I took from that. lol

In the scene where Earl killed himself, these were my thoughts: - Is he going to try and take his arm off with THAT? - Maybe Judith will use her sword to cut it off! - Wait, why is he saying the others will take care of them? - Is he about to do what I think he is? - Wait, Ezekiel, Jerry and Daryl are going to stop him in time right? Even though I was expecting him to do that, I was in shock. At first, my jaw dropped. I started crying, then laughing. It felt like I was watching 6x16 and 7x1 all over again.
