@@prosimian yes after the happened I for sure thought DJ was gonna die with jed attempting to kill Rick again. But I personally believe Jed had some type of control over DJ. BUT either way dj redeemed himself . he could of backed out and ran back to camp and say he didn't know what happened to Ozzie and alec but instead he joined them attempting to rescue the others.

they did that to every single character. Every time a character gets a lot of screentime and seems to be given more development, have all the fans attached to them more, they kill them off

@@shaden4639 I don't know, the punch certainly feels heavier to me here just because all these people are already dead, there's no hope, nothing you can do. Plus there were hints and clues leading towards the Red Wedding, there was build-up and tension throughout the episode, while this comes completely out of the blue.

Seeing DJ go from being one of Negan's lieutenant's to sacrificing his life to try and save the people he once considered enemies should show that anyone can find redemption :(

Totally with you on the Highway men! Particularly their leader he could have had a lot more story line. I guess you had to make them likable however if the death was going to hurt. Tara dying stunk but Enid's death I think bothered me most. She came such a long way. Though Henry wasn't very likable character wise I think we all feel for Carol and look forward to when Carol and Alpha meet!

I can’t believe they killed off Tara, Enid and Henry. The fact that Carl died by helping someone else. Then Henry risks his life saving that girl, just to die like that, and that way, so the good die..... Carol and Daryl better get them and kill every last single one of them, save “Alpha” last.

I remember when this happened I was prepared to lose Ezekiel and Rosita. I spent weeks mentally preparing myself for their deaths and then they pulled a u-turn and killed Enid and Tara instead! Enid and Tara were my top 2 characters.

Henry & Enid hurt the most for me. They should've killed Alden & Gabe instead. At this point I'd rather see Carol die than watch her go through the arc of losing a kid for the 7th time now...

I loved the Highway men too! I thought they were going to bring great variety and story lines. I was really happy they loved movies enough to want to help the community with safety. They really came through. Total white hat good guys. So very sad!

They kinda messed with comic readers' expectations. Ezekiel and Rosita were two of the heads in the comic, and the show teased hard about them, only to throw you a curveball. You're thinking Henry is safe because he and Judith are the replacements for Carl's storyline in the comic, but nah.
